A/N Gramer alert
To be honest I made this fic after finding enough evidence to paint just how bad Naruto's childhood was. His treatment of the villagers on screen in the Manga and anime(His osterization and the engroagement for kids to bully him in specific)Konoha Hiden:The Perfect Day for a wedding Teuchi's chapter and how we find out that they did indeed attempted to starve him out, after he was kicked out of the orphanage at 4 or 5. They where subtle with it too, whether that be them not selling him shit or ranking up prices so he spends all his money on it. Let's not forget his fear of Ghost one of the few fears thats instilled in children to make them behave, but his fear is way more pronounced than others.
After everything in Bortuo its been confirmed that Naruto did indulge in self harm by beating on his shadow clones thinking he deserved it. Meaning that he despite knowing the true reason why they hate him still held that trauma and that got me thinking. So here we are.
Takes place during the wrap up after the last stand of root. in Sakura Hiden: Thoughts of Love, Riding Upon a Spring Breeze. Canon pairings though the only change is that Sasuke arrives in the instead of just leaving after he killed the last six who attempted to flee.
"Scar revealer" shouted the last loyal Root Anbu. Holding out a scroll that shined brightly.
Uzamaki Naruto felt his skin change and old wounds that should have scared up back then started appearing as scar tissue. It was a weird feeling. He took a look at his prosthetic arm even it had cuts in it.
"Now you should be easier to kill Uzamaki " The Traitorous anbu sneered throwing his scroll to the wind.
Before he could move however, Naruto blitzed him slamming his fist on the traitors windpipe cuasing the him to fall down dead. "Phew, last one of those bastards." Naruto said before catching the scroll with a chakra arm and bringing it to his face. As he read whatever this justu was.
"Haggoromo clan technique Scar revealer"(1)
Naruto paused while reading this, 'how would this be helpful' the blonde mused in thought.
"Read more you idoit" shouted his angry Tennant. Normally the blonde would sass the grumpy fox but he understood why he was mad. I mean who wouldn't be pissed that his Chakra was used in experiments and made into a drug gifted to people for nefarious deeds.
Danzo was not only the darkness of shinobi but the darkness of man.
"Back during the second great ninja war when the Haggoromo clan planed to participate in the assault on Uzushiogakure with Stone, Mist and other clan from the cloud village as allies, after extensive combat with the Uzamaki during the warring clan period their four father developed this technique to use on these regenerating clan members."
This gave the blonde pause as he didn't expect the history for this justu.
"Lord Danzo was able to capture one of these scrolls from a dead clan member. He planned on using this against Kushina if she ever left, then Tsunada for easier assassination and most importantly Orchimaru who most likely would died on the spot. As all of his vital organs would turn into Scar tissue once blasted by this scroll. However soon it was gonna be used if Uzamaki Naruto ever got unruly." Naruto scowled at the thought of the Danso knowing now why certain thing happened.
"That bastard!!" Roared Kurama from within the seal slamming his tails on the ground making Naruto jump. "Scar tissue is easier to cut and it highlights weak points, the Uzamaki where a rambunctious bunch and often would have had scars on thier heads. If they didn't gave a regen factor. Jinjuriki usually have scars in vital areas where vengeful or fearful people stabbed at according to my dumbass siblings each of their Jinjuriki had that problem, even some from that sandy bastard you call Shukaku! Garra is apparently the only one who didn't experience it, well until he came to konoha." The great beast chuckled that last part. It filled the war hero with pride knowing just how far he gotten with Kurama.
He kept on reading for how to undo this forced transformation.
"it's needs to be done on target with some sort of regeneration so only Jinjuriki, sudo Jinjuriki, Uzumaki clan member and even Tsunada and Orchimaru where the only ones this could be used against. Said target has to have all limbs prosthetic be damed. Danzo-sama found out thru forced means that the only way to expell this forced transformation is by talking about how each Sacr happened. According to Danzo-sama the Uzamaki didn't like appearing weak for variety of trivial reasons. He also knew most Jinjuriki where guarded and distrustful when it came to people he even noticed this in Naruto." Said person has his eyes widened slightly as he realized this was end of the description if you discount the directions.
Seeing no choice in this matter he would see if Sakura could work her magic.
"So there really nothing you can do Sakura-chan!?" Naruto aksed clearly worried.
"Yes Naruto their isn't now why do you even have so many" exlacamied the Pink haired medic in confusion and slight fear. 'I know I sometimes went overboard but kami there so much. did I do all of this' Sakura thought in a panic.
Meanwhile Hinata was looking quite visibly worried she knew where some of these came from and didn't want Naruto to have to relive and retell that pain.
Kiba,TenTen, Lee and Guy looked quite puzzled at the sheer amount.
Ino, Choji,Shikamaru and Kurenai was honestly just quite curious.
Tsunada and Kakashi were unchartirstically silent. The buxom senju read the files on what he went through and knew what was coming next. She hated it but she knew she needed to hear this from her fellow blonde that she treated like faimly.
Kakashi was being reminded of his faluries and wasn't exactly looking forward to what comes next.
Shino was just happy he was there and Sasuke was feeling even more guilty than Sakura as he in particularly stared at one of the Scars on his neck and chest. I did that, Thats even more of a reason to atone the Uchiha thought sololemny.
There where 3 scars on his neck, some discoloring of his skin spread around everywhere, a large handshaped one on his chest that protruded to his back, cuts in both is prosthetic arm and biotic arm, his legs had long lines like someone deliberately did it. His forehead had a cut mark on it with another one near his heart shaped like a palm strike. His knuckles had marking on them around with some minor superficial ones on his face. There where more that looked like stab wounds at random places on his Torso, arms and legs. Their where even small holes that looked like senbon. If they looked close enough that could even see some on his scalp. There was also a scar that protruded outside both his hands. On the prosthetic this manifest as a hole straight through it.. However the most exotic looking one was on his still attached hand it looked like he was burned and cut at the same time.
"Is this the real reason your dickless Naruto-san" Said Sai in an unchartirstically concerned voice. Which surprised most of the people in the room.
Hinata walked up and sat beside her Boyfriend taking his hand which he readily accepted. After giving it tight squeeze he knew it was time.
"Ya know some of these where from training with Kurama's chakra and the rasengan."
As soon as he finished he started glowing and by the time it was gone he had changed. Some of his discoloration from chakra burns left with the exotic looking Scar, alongside with most of the more superficial ones. Some of the the ones located on his hands also left.
"Okay so that did less than I thought, think think think oh yeah the fight with Haku"
He glowed again and the senbon looking holes left.
"Ah yeah the chunin exams my Punch to Neji's chin" He chuckled at that memory
A fond look took the eyes of remaining members of Team Guy and Hinata herself.
While Naruto's fist started glowing Guy said this "I'm glad you where able to knock that unyouthful mindset out of my late student Naruto-kun"
Lee also added "Yosh my Late Youthful Rival definitely lightened up after that smack you gave him, he was more willing to play in my youthful stage shows"
Everyone started laughing they remembered how crazy Lee's little stage shows could get.
TenTen started laughing harder "Yeah he definitely went from an asshole to playing a female role all the time."
This made the room laugh harder. Sasuke tho was just confused and just couldn't picture it. Kiba started hounding sounding like Akamarau, Ino was belly laughing and Shino was shaking with laughter.
"My favorite was that Christmas one I will never forget Yamato being three angels." chuckled Kakashi. Sai nodded and showed a picture of that wonderful accession. Causing the room to fill up even more with a cheerful mood.
After the laugher died down the mood was sololem as they remembered the passing of their dear friend and in ones case lover.
"I still miss him ya know" That was enough said for everybody.
"Anyway let's get back to one of my biggest triumphs!" Naruto smiled giving an award winning smile. It caught everyone's attention.
"My fight with Kabuto when we recruited Ba-chan to be Hokage, OH yeah I was awesome during that entire fight"
Once again he glowed but it was only his forehead, Palm shaped Scar and the hole on his prosthetic hand.
Naruto then went into detail on how amazing the fight was. With Tsunada interjecting from time to time. Fact checking her overzealous nephew/son figure.
Sasuke started thinking back in hindsight and really wished Naruto told him that story back then before he defected, Would it have change things he mused quietly with only the team 7 members picking up on it.
He however realized that he was too insecure back then about how rapitly strong his rival was getting and was unsure he could keep up. Coupled with his brother Kami bless his soul mental attack he knew it wouldn'thave changed much maybe made it even worse(2)
Silence followed as they knew which fight was next.
Sakura silently made her way over to the now even more regretful Uchiha and put her hand in his reaming one. Causing the former renegade to relax more than he was willing to admit. This surprised everyone in the room, even Sakura herself minus Naruto.
"Ah the Emo brat finally caught feelings for your former Banshee sister" Chuckled the fox he found this amusing.(3)
"Ah yes my fight with tall, emo and edgy over there! Back when he still had a duckbutt on his head!" Naruto boisterously shouted surprising the room and getting various reactions.
A giggle from his Girlfriend, a chuckle from Tsunada, an eye smile from Kakashi.
A deadpan then a smirk of some kind from Shikamaru, Ino and Kurenai. "You troublesome dude" Said Shikamaru shaking his head with a grin on his face
Ino faked annoyance and Kurenai just shook her head trying to hold in a smirk.
Joyas laughter from Lee, Guy and Kiba
A nonplussed look from Choji, Shino and Sai they almost new it was coming.
A surprised look from Sakura and a slightly annoyed Sasuke he was just glad he didn't hold much hard feelings for that chidori in his lung. He knew Naruto already forgave him but that dosen't mean he fully forgave himself even if the curse mark was clouding his judgment ever so slightly.
Naruto started glowing again and this time only 2 scars went away, the large one on his chest and one of the neck scars. This surprised many of them but not the Kage in the room and not our titular blonde and his future wife not that Hinata knew that he was gonna propose soon.
Kiba said shouted "You broke his neck, we all knew about the chidori in the lung but his neck!. "
Sasuke retorted " Honestly when I was doing it, I didn't expect to hear the snap either. At some point I just thought Naruto was invincibe when it came to blunt force trama. I mean not everyone can be hit by Gale force winds and a giant boa constrictor and recover that fast." He calmly explained which once again surprised the people in the room.
Naruto actually didn't expect that nor did Kurama who was just surprised to hear him admit it out load.
"So Smiles idolizes Dickless more than I thought" Commented Sai getting annoyed looks from the two in question.
As Choji grabbed another pack of chips and asked a question "Why are there still so many and why are there still discolorations in your skin."
Naruto answered honestly "That came from Orchimaru, and Pain when I used the Mk2 cloak for too long. Not to mention this other Scar in my hand came from me stabbing the chakra rods in my hand to locate pain. Along with the 5 circular holes scars on my back and legs."
He glowed and his Chakra burns that caused the discoloration in his skin where gone along with all holes in his hand and anymore circular scars.
"If I may proposition you Naruto-san where did that exotic looking permenat injury come from it was quite unique and appers-" Shino started before he was cut off by Ino
"Where did that exotic looking Scar from Naruto" she all but demanded, appearing to not notice Shino sulking with Shikamaru patting him on his back.
"Oh yeah that's from the Rasenshurkin that I used on Kakazu ya know I'll didn't want anyone to worry so I didn't say anything"
Naruto said while scratching the back of his head.
Kurenai was surprised she just knew that the attack he used disabled the man who stop Shikamaru and his team from helping Her late husband. Not the after affects.
There was a pregnant pause as they notice that there were still many scars on the blondes body.
Naruto frowned and avoided eye contact, Hinata caught him in a hug bringing him to her chest where he wrap his arms around her and stayed like that for a bit. All the while she played with his hair. Tsunada and Kakashi where leaking killing intent. Meanwhile Guy had a Frown on his face muttering unyouthful repeatedly.
This made his peers stare at him with fearful expression. As they feared what he was gonna say next.
"The Villagers did most of the rest Choji" Naruto answered his first question still snuggled in Hinata's amble bussom.
Everyone in the village felt a massive chakra shift as Killer intent was leaking out from the reaming members of the Konoha 12 along with the widowed Kurenai. The building they where in was shaking the they where in causing cracks to form, and windows to break an entire section of the village felt this mini earthquake. The Killer intent causing many villagers to pass out from fear, spreading to almost all of the village. Anbu,Any Jonin in the area and any Chunin worth their salt arrived on the scene. As they mottetured the building.
20 minutes passed until they calmed down.
During those 20 minutes Naruto tried to composed and mentally steeled himself for what's coming next all the while Kurama and Hinata helped him in anyway way they could.
Before Naruto spoke he grabbed Hinata which made her squeak and sat her in his lap his face in the nock of her neck. After an additional five minutes he lifted his head up to face them.
"Let's get the drunk Villagers out of the way, They threw bottles and rocks at my head and 2 of them got even bolder and came at me with a knife before a certain anbu stop them." Naruto would then look at Sasuke "He had a weasel mask" As Sasuke sat confused for a bit until he remembered his talk with the reanimated Hokage.
"Itachi really was a saint." The Uchiha commented with a frown squeezeing Sakura's hand tighter.
Naruto glowed and the scars he mention dissapered. Along with the last 2 left on his neck.
That left the Torso, Legs and Arms.
"The orphanage runners would punish me with whips saying that the host of the undead would come to hunt me before locking me in closet. That's why I'm afraid of Ghost" Naruto said as he then snuggled into Hinata hair again. Knowing the rest of the Scars on the Torso disappeared.
TenTen then would Remember something, "They where always harder on you than the rest of use huh, I just didn't know they went so far." she commented in a sad voice some tears falling out of the weapon masters eyes.
Many in the room forget that Naruto and TenTen went to the same orphanage this was just a reminder.
"Next where trusted academy teachers they where ninja so they carved where they knew it would get caught" Naruto stateted, the ninja now knew why Iruka was cracking down on the school system.
'How did they stop this time?' was the question on everyone's mind minus the Kage and Kage candit in the room.
"Me." Kakashi stated in an Icy tone not wanting to elaborate any more.
"So that's why you where forced to retire the mask. Its Unyouthful what you did but Youthful that you did it." Guy said in a dangerous tone.
They decided to leave it at that.
As Naruto legs and arms glowed they discovered most of the Scars left expect the small scratches on his prosthetic arm.
A now silent room as the stared at him with confusion. Meanwhile Hinata managed to get him in her embrace tighter than ever.
"Myself" was all Naruto said.
The cuts were gone.
And so was most of their hope in the village people and the older generation at that.

1. I used the Haggoromo clan because of The gold and silver Brothers having Uzamaki like qualities. Like stronger bodies and chakra. This is what allowed Kinkaku and Shinkaku to survive the inside of Kurama while being able to process his chakra and even use it.It would make sense for them to be one of the few clans who dared to challenge the Uzamaki in battle. The only other ones that makes some sense is the Uchiha, Hyuga and Kagyuya clans.
2. Part 1 Sasuke is misunderstood. I really don't know how many people missed the fact that Sasuke acknowledged Naruto during that fight in the valley of the end. Sasuke made a compromise that Part 1 Naruto failed to pick up on. It's because while Sasuke could see and acknowledged Naruto's loneliness, Naruto at that time couldn't fully grasp his. I may make a future fic exploring what would happen if Naruto lost his precious people after the Sand, Sound invasion. But I kinda don't want to kill of Iruka, Teuchi and Ayame.
3. After reading the Novels that had Sasuke's point of view, all those fanfics that said he likes a konouchi focused on her work instead of Love rings true. Sakura grew more than her unbearable part 1 self. Atleast her part 1 self is easier to write but that's just about it.It's weird ya know knowing what Sakura is capable off know makes me hate the bashed version of her character so much more.Anyhow yes the Naruto novels did kinda help SasuSaku as a ship for me made it much more tolerable at worst and at best make more sense than most of the others.(ShikaTema and NaruHina can't be topped tho) thought though a certain event in Sakura's Story where Sasuke left her for 6 years after knocking her up with Sarada made me hate it more.
