It was a ritual amongst the A-Rank boys to gather in one of the seven squad rooms (Kako Squad is only girls) every month on the fourteenth. It was a well-kept secret among them; no C or B-Rank agent may know about this; only the B-Ranks who used to be A-Rank like Azuma, Ninomiya, and Kageura were aware of this meeting. (Azuma being the first sniper is always allowed.)
Now, what the seven squads did was very out of character for some like Shuuji Miwa and Soya Kazama. They bought a massive amount of beer (Once Yoneya charged in with a giant bottle of Grey Goose Vodka, which was passed around to everyone in the room. But it was mainly Jin and Tachikawa who drank it). They all sit around whichever squad room's hosting that month (Reiji makes killer cocktails but only at Tamakoma, so they end up gathering at Tamakoma almost every month, much to Rindou's protests) and drink until they are absolutely wasted. (Shun isn't allowed to drink, so he gets lemonades and non-alcoholic Shirly Temples.) They also all sing karaoke (all meaning Miwa, Narasaka, and Kazama as well). Each agent receives one verse per song (for example, High Hopes, Jin sings the chorus, Tachikawa sings the verses, Izumi sings the bridges, and Miwa sings "Stay up on that rise" and "They say it's all been done.") They each have a specific song that whenever the music comes on they MUST sing (That's the deal, everyone does it). Therefore, people like Yoneya, Izumi, and Midorikawa like to play not such random music whenever there's a bunch of A-Ranks around randomly. They've been dubbed the Disaster Trio for this reason.
It was March fourteenth, meaning it was Tamakoma's turn to host. Slight problem though, Shiori forgot to mention this to Tamakoma-2. She only remembered when Rindou walked into the kitchen.
"Alright! I'm heading out, and you should too."
"So early?" Yuuma asked, "It's only 6:15."
Shiori looked up. "Oh, My God! I forgot to tell you four! You have to leave early if you value your lives!"
"Uh, Why, Miss?" Osamu asked.
"I'm not allowed to answer that!" Usami said, pulling Osamu and Chika off the couch. "Just go! Hyuse! Yuuma! I suggest you confine yourselves to your rooms. Don't leave there no matter what!"
Tamakoma-2 looked at her like she's crazy.
"Yeah, that's probably the best idea," Rindou agreed.
He ushered Osamu and Chika out the door; Shiori pushed Yuuma and Hyuse up the stairs.
"Don't come down no matter what happens, ok? I'm going to run!"
They both nodded and went to their respected rooms.
Just then, the door opened, and Reiji and Kyosuuke walked in, each holding four shopping bags worth of beer. Reiji opens the cabinet that no one else is allowed to touch and takes out a bunch of different flavored syrups, and sets them neatly on the counter. Jin makes his dramatic entrance holding a bottle of vodka and places it next to Kizaki.
"Here you go, Kizaki!"
"Thanks"
"Yeah, no problem! Keep it away from Kei this time, though.
"We should be keeping it away from you," Karasuma said, putting the last six-pack into the fridge. "How much time have we got?"
Jin checked the clock, 6:30, "about an hour and a half."
"Great, so we can clean up this mess," Karasuma ordered, looking around the room, taking in the dirty dishes in the sink and the wrappers on the floor and couch. "Wow, this place is a dump; Jin, you were supposed to wash the dishes last night."
Jin laughed evasively. "Right; I'll get to that."
Kyosuuke sighed and started picking up the "Bonchi Fried Rice Cracker" wrappers from the floor. "Jin, you should really clean up your messes."
Jin flashed his trademark grin at Karasuma. "Why would I do that if I know you'll clean it up for me?"
Karasuma glared "fuck you"
"Nah, I'm taken."
"Really? Since when? And by who?" Reiji asked straight-faced
Jin just smirked and winked.
Karasuma rolled his eyes "whatever, let's make this place look a little bit functional before everyone gets here."
"That sounds like the best idea," Kizaki said, not offering his hand to help.
Kyosuuke sighed "these idiots," he thought.
At 8:15 on the dot, the Arashiyama squad, always the first to arrive, entered Tamakoma's base.
"Heyo!" Satori yelled
"Hey, Ken!" Jin waved
"Don't encourage this," Tokeida sighed.
Over the course of the next 15 minutes, the remaining squads joined (Miwa squad always came last because Shuuji hated these gatherings) Reiji started making his drinks and handing them out, everyone (besides Shun, who drinks lemonade) grabbed a beer and sat on the couches, counters, and floors.
By 9:15, everyone was wasted, the music was blasting, and Karasuma was currently singing and dancing to the chorus of "Take it from me" by Jordan Davis while Narasaka, who just revealed his hidden talent, played the guitar expertly.
This usually lasted until all of them were too drunk to stand (Shun usually snuck a few beers.) They all crashed on the couches (Satori ends up in Izumi's lap every time, and they deny being together. The same goes for Yuichi and Kei.)
In the morning, when they're all dead tired and hungover, their operators being the only responsible agents on each squad, come to pick up their boys (Kunichika has a lot of fun with that). This happens every month without fail. (except for that one time)
So, one day when a bunch of A-Ranks were chilling in the cafeteria Yosuke Yoneya, being the ass he is, decided to start playing some music.
Kazama walked out right away, not wanting to embarrass himself in front of the C and B-Ranks (which confused everyone since he had the best voice out of all of them)
Narasaka exited before anyone noticed his absence.
Poor Miwa made the decision to leave too late. If looks could kill, Yosuke would be dead a billion times over.
The song, Without You by Avicci was blasting full volume through the speakers of the cafeteria. Arashiyama sighed and started singing the first verse rolling his eyes when a couple of C-Ranks laughed.
The female A-Ranks looked confused as Izumi started singing the pre-chorus shaking his head to the rhythm.
Kage took out his phone and started videoing the entire thing.
People gasped as Special Agent Jin stood up and joined in on the chorus.
"Oh, so that was all the noise we heard last night." Yuuma realized, "It was louder, though."
"Huuh?" answered Osamu and Chika.
Tachikawa proceeded to bang his hand on the table along with the beat as Toma beatboxed badly.
Shuuji was about to murder all of them.
Reiji sat there with his head in his hands.
Inukai was laughing so hard he practically couldn't breathe.
Ninomiya wondered why he ever dealt with these people.
More and more C and B-Ranks filled in, taking in the utter chaos that was the cafeteria at the moment.
(Jin was playing the Air Guitar to Gone, Gone, Gone, which Karasuma was singing softly to)
No one has ever looked more confused than the new recruits. They all believed that the A-Ranks hated each other. They didn't think that they got along.
Everything was going great until Shinoda entered.
"Shoot, we are in so much trouble," Yoneya whistled.
"We?! No, you! You turned on the music!" Tachikawa argued.
"Out! All of you! Now!" Shinoda ordered.
They all looked at each other "Yes, sir!"
They all filed out of the cafeteria with their heads down, looking like naughty school children. When the door to the cafeteria closed, shut they all burst out laughing in unison.
"I hate all of you!" Miwa snarled.
"Even me?" Yosuke asked (everyone was convinced they were dating)
"Especially you!" he growled. He sulked away.
That just made everyone laugh harder.
"Thanks for the entertainment Yosuke" Jin smiled wildly "see you around."
And just like that, they went their separate ways.
(The video that Kage took was "somehow" leaked, and now the entire Border had footage of the A-Ranks who were not so sober, singing karaoke in the cafeteria)
