Emilia was on her way to Priestilla with the rest of her camp when she heard a strange voice come from her head saying something about a "Sage Candidate", shortly after that she got tired and everything went black.
Upon waking up however she was not in her Carriage or even a fancy inn. No, she was in a very large theatre full of rich people watching a play. She could not help but stumble around and bumped into someone, a lady dressed in a long gown like dress who gave her an irritated look and said:
"How dare you, have you no manners miss? And what is with that hair?" Don't you know silver went out of fashion years ago. Truly what an irritable young lady you are."
Emilia was just embarrassed and did not know what to say, this lady was being quite rude but she is used to the stares of disgust she gets from people at times. She bows and apologizes:
"I'm reeeally sorry, I will not do it again. Can you umm, please tell me where we are? I have not the faintest idea."
The woman looks at her and is satisfied with her appearance, after pulling out a long cigarillo and lighting it up she blew smoke once, then twice. Emilia had to fight the urge to gag and just crinkles her nose. The woman points around them and talks:
"This is the Ford Theatre young lady and do not be worried as your apology was sufficient, my name is Lucille, and this is in the capital city. Washington, DC of our fine nation The United States of America. Now miss what is your name?"
Here Emilia was befuddled by all the information she received whole thinking to herself:
"Oh no, there is not a place like this in Lugnica or the four kingdoms from all the studying I have done. Where am I? Subaru please I need you."
While Emilia was in a slight gaze, Lucille frowned and snapped her fingers in front of Emilia which made her snap out of her thoughts. Lucille asked once more:
"While this is rather rude, I notice you appear not from around these parts. What is your name again young lady, perhaps I can be of assistance?
"Emilia, just Emilia. I am sorry I am just a little shocked. One moment, I was with my friends and the next I am here." Pouts the silver-haired half-elf, as the adorable expression on her face made Lucille smile. She adds:
"Do not worry Miss Emilia, I am sure we can locate your friends. Now while regretful to miss the play, I would much rather help a lost individual such as yourself."
Here Emilia brightens and nods. As they were going to leave she noticed a couple of things.
Some were giving her very weird looks while others were watching the wonderful show being played about some Vermont woodsmen being invited to the family's manor in a different country.
She was very curious about what just happened and who all these people are. She wanted to know what Vermont was, is it a place? While this seemed rather entertaining she has a mission to return to her Knight and Camp and cannot afford to waste time. So while regretful she moves on while also observing that they were all wearing very fancy clothes and the theatre she was in was beautiful.
She continued on her way and looked around when she heard a loud *BANG*. Everyone screamed as some guy on top of a balcony with a very large hat fell over. The sound physically hurt her ears, as she crouched down on instinct, reminding herself that loud sudden noises are bad news. Lucille grabbed her by the arm as she went down in a crouch as well and whispers to the concerned Emilia:
"Stay down, that was a gunshot. We do not want to alert the shooter."
Emilia merely nods her head and looks up while shielding her body tightly, trying and failing to activate her magic.
In all the confusion she heard the weird voice again say "Sorry wrong place", and she blacked out.
The next second she was waking up again in a different theatre with all her friends and rivals around while her wonderful knight was sleeping peacefully on his chair.
She stood up in shock and shouted: "Lucille where are you?"
"Calm down Emilia, in fact. You were having a bad dream, I suppose." Says a drill loli as she sits on the lap of her contractor.
Emilia just sits down while still in shock, finding what a vivid dream that was. She will ask her knight when he wakes up if he ever heard of this so-called Ford Theatre, and with a twinge in her heart, she will miss what was beginning to seem like a new friend. Nothing more than her own imagination taking form. "
