I Have a few Stardew Valley Stories I have been meaning to share for a while.
Sorry I have been gone so long. College keeps me busy as does my job on the weekend.
I have about 3 weeks off (with the exception of weekends when I work)
SO here's hoping, along with new stories, that I can finally update some on going ones too~ ;)
Thank you for your patience~

"1 2 3~ I bet you can't hide me~!"
"Awww Hana, come on...you always hide in the trees!"
Two small girls played in the woods. Staying at a rustic cabon that held the face of a warm old man.
"Willow, Hana?"
"Coming Grampa~!"
"Hurry on then, Hana." the old man smiled ringing a triangle to signify it's dinner time. Hana's grandfather was a tender old soul. Willow's father worked for him...helping him out on his farm land at the Cabin in the woods... and the girls became fast friends. Young Hana always had a special bond with nature. She seemed to be one with flowers...and often talked to the trees. And sometimes in the whispers of the wind...even back then she could swear the they talked back...
But Those Were Happier Times...

And for you...
My very special grandaughter...
I leave for you this sealed envelope.
"Don't open it yet..."
He spoke these words in a dying breath.
"A time will come when you will feel crushed by the burden of Modern Life..."
He said...
"That bright spirit of yours will fade before a growing emptiness...And when that happens...Then...you will be ready for this gift."
"And that's the last bix." Willow said with a soft sigh after packing away the last of her things.
"Are you sure about this, darling?" her father asked, "We haven't been there since Chester..." her father sighed and the purple haired punk child cracked a sad smile.
"I know..." she whispered, "...But he was all she had left..." she said softly, "Without Grampa Chester...all she's got is me...and I..." she sighed as she pulled the roll of tape across her last sealed box, "...I can't let her be alone."
Her father smiled and sighed. He gave an understanding nod as he took his daughter into his arms.
"You girls make sure you take care of each other." he said to her, "And if you ever need help...call." he smiled, "After all...I have plenty of experience working on that old farm."
"Yeah...I know." the purple haired girl chuckled, "Thanks, Dad."

If you're reading this now, dear child, I can't help but think you may be feeling lost with me gone...
That feeling was shared by me long ago...
I lost sight of what mattered most in life.
Real connections with real people...and with nature.
I dropped my old life...and moved somewhere I truly belonged.
That old farm of mine you have come to love. I feel no other in the world could share the love for it as you do, my dear. In this envelope I have enclosed the deed to that old farm...once mine now entrusted to you. I know you will take good care of it...so start your new life, and find your light again.
Good luck,
Grandpa.
"Hey Hana look at that!" the purple haired freckled face girl grinned, her bright green eyes shining with the light of the vast blue sky as the Sign for Stardew Valley passed by.
"We're almost there!"
The ginger haired girl beside her gasped softly, as though waking from a deep sleep, from the final memory she held of her Granfather who had now passed on.
Willow sighed.
Ever since Hana's grandfather passed, Willow's dear old friend just hasn't been the same. Quiet. Distant. Lost. Empty.
The light of life she had within her was now gone...
And it rose Willow's concern.
"Come on..." she said softly taking Hana's hand in hers, "The bus is about to stop."

"Hello! You must be Hana!" a ginger haired woman met them at the station as they de-boarded.
"Yes...and my name's Willow." said the purple haired girl behind blushing freckled cheeks, "Hana's a bit...uhm...socially awkward?"
"Oh...so I see." the woman chuckled, "I'm Robin. The local Carpenter." she stated, "I have a son about your age~" she giggled, which brought about an awkward smile on Willow "Anyway, Mayor Lewis sent me here to fetch you and show you the way to your new home." she said, "That old cabin in the woods." she blinked, "He's supposibly tidying up the place for you, follow me."
A gasp sounded from both girls as Robin led them to that old rustic cabin in the woods. What was once a place of joy and light for both girls was now an over grown mess of emptiness that held distant memories...
"What's the matter?" Robin blinked, "Sure it's a bit over grown...but there's some good soil here." she grinned, "I'm sure you will have it fixed up in no time!"
Out of the rickety door walked an old and familiar face.
"Hey, it's old man Lewis!" Willow beamed as she nudged Hana to look up, "Remember?"
"My, how you girls have grown." he chuckled as he walked down the worn steps, "It's a great pleasure to see you again...should you need anything be sure to let me know." he stated, "After all, I am the Mayor of Pelican Town." His eyes rested on Hana and narrowed sadly. Still she didn't speak a word.
"You know..." he said softly, "The whole town has been asking about you." he chuckled, "They're so excited to meet you." he stated as he softened his voice, "Dear sweet little Hana...I am so terribly sorry for your loss." he said softly, "Chester was a good man...and he loved you very much." he smiled, "I remember back when this good old house had life to it." he chuckled, "Chester would be rocking in that old chair of his, while Willow's father worked the fields for him...and you two girls would play in the trees of these old woods." he blinked, "Happier times." he smiled and looked back to the girl whose blue eyes glassed over in sadness.
"I know you will care for the place as well as he did." he smiled, "Now surely you girls must be tired from your journey." said Lewis, "Go on in now...you should get some rest."
"Good idea..." said Willow as she yawned, "Perhaps tomorrow...we can explore the old town a bit and see if it's changed any." said Willow as she glanced over at Hana, "We could introduce ourselves to the Towns people...what do you think?" she said softly, "That would be nice...right Hana?"
"...Yeah." said Hana, "...That would be nice."
