Summary: Marinette is dating Luka but after a mutual reveal with Adrien last night, she realized she still loves him.
"Hey, um Luka? Can I tell you something?", Marinette asks, twiddling her fingers.
"Yeah sure, what's up?", he says, tossing his phone to the side.
"I-I wanna break up," Marinette says.
"Wh-what?", Luka asks, completely unexpecting this.
"It's not your fault! It's just-," she starts.
"Just what, Marinette!?", Luka exclaims, heartbroken.
"I can't do this anymore!", Marinette yells.
"What? Why?"
"I don't know how to tell you this," she says.
"Just say it!"
"It's not your fault!"
"You said that already!", Luka yells.
"Okay, here we go," Marinette says, clearly stalling.
"Just blurt it out already!", Luka exclaims.
"Look, Luka, you're a great guy," she starts.
"But?"
"He's the only guy for me," she continues.
"What?"
"Any girl who gets you will be really lucky…"
"…but there's something too him that I just love," Marinette adds.
"But I thought you loved me?", Luka says.
"It's like he's the only thing I need," Marinette gushes.
"And I loved him before," she continues.
"Wait, Adrien?", Luka realizes.
"Yeah, I loved him, he loved me," she continues.
"And it's gone on for so long," Marinette adds.
"For so long, just looking at each other from afar," she says, recalling past memories.
"And you still love him?", Luka asks.
"Yeah, and he told me he still loves me," Marinette says excitedly.
"Even back then, he loved me…"
"…and I had no clue," she goes on.
"I can't believe you led me on," Luka says angrily.
"I just realized last night!", Marinette defends.
"Right after we had a moment under the moon," Marinette says happily.
"And I'm sure about it!"
"We never really got any closure," Marinette says.
"It's not his fault, or mine, or yours…"
"I just love him," she finishes.
"As long as your happy, but if he breaks your heart, I'll be here waiting," Luka says with a sad smile, before leaving the room.
