The cast of WHDDA witness as Subaru fights against the titans of his world. Subaru literally just switches places with Eren just that simple.

An eerie silence from the screen played as two birds flew past on the screen.
"What is this, I suppose?" Asked a small spirit loli.
"I already don't like it! And it just started playing!" Said a fiery little candidate.
A familiar, nasty looking and hazel colored eye filled the screen.
The sword saint spoke up first. "Wait is this about Subaru again?"
"Subaru-kun..." A small maid spoke. She gripped the hand of the sleeping boy next to her tighter.
The uncomfortable music kept playing as the screen showed crowds of people all standing still looking at something. The silence even continued as a dog was barking at whatever everyone was looking at too.
"Nya, is this giving any body else the creeps?" Multiple heads in the room nodded with the cat knight.
"I swear if this is another fucked up thing with cap'n!"
"Garfiel calm down." A tall maid said sternly.
The screen finally showed a giant hand on top of a humongous wall.
"Is that a giant hand?" a purple haired man asked.
"I don't like this." Emilia said quietly, she looked over to Subaru's sleeping form.
"That wall is huge! See how tall it is?!" A small cat looking person shouted.
A helmeted knight standing next to a fiery woman felt a pit drop into his stomach. 'Oh shit, don't tell me...'
Subaru is shown in the crowd of people standing next to two other people around the same age as him.
"Betty's Subaru looks a lot younger, in fact!"
"Subaru-dono's look hasn't changed much since he was child."
"Normal Barusu is already bad enough, a child version of him seems like a nightmare to handle." Rem lighten a little from her sister's words.
Everyone in the room looked back at the screen. They noticed, he was shorter, skinnier, he just looked like a child. They all saw how he was still standing frozen with the gathering of people.
He looked scared of something, most likely the giant hand.
"On that day, mankind received a grim reminder." A large shadow started rising over the wall.
The room full of people tensed as the narrator started speaking.
The giant revealed it's face. It's red and burning skin of human muscle looked down on the people on the other side of the wall. "We lived in fear of the titans, and were disgraced to live in these cages called walls."
"What the Hell is that?!" The grey haired merchant screamed.
"It looks as big as the whale..." Crusch whispered. Is this a monster where Subaru was from? Did they have calamities like they do here?
"What a disgusting looking creature!" Priscilla blurted out. None would disagree, but the latter of people were more scared than disgusted.
The music kicked up as it zoomed out to the scale of the size of the wall and how the city looked from up in the sky.
"So that's where Subaru lives..." Emilia muttered.
"That thing, a titan they called it? Is huge compared to everything else there!"
The screen suddenly changed to the loud sounds of horses running through the rain.
"Ah! That scared the shit out of me!" Felt yelled.
"Felt-sama! Language please!" Reinhardt would catch one of her little jabs with his right hand for her being reprimanded again.
"Everyone get ready to fight!" A man screamed as him and an army people ran through the rain.
"Are these soldiers where Subaru is from?" Julius asked himself.
"What are those creatures they are riding?"
The room knew what was coming from the previous showings already. Several heads would turn to see the smug aurora coming from a certain great spirit again.
"Beako..." Emilia said to her, that tinge of jealousy in her voice.
"Are you fuckin' kiddin' me!? How much does Cap'n tell you?!"
"Hmpf, grovel before me, I suppose!"
One again the participants in the room were jealous of how much Subaru was blabbering about his home to this little girl. Reinhardt had his steady notebook in hand to learn more from the screen.
"There's only one target! We will exterminate it and make this mankind's first outside base! "A blond man behind the rest of the squad was alerted. "Target approaching!" A giant figure started walking out of the trees.
"Is that fat looking thing a titan?" The littlest maid Petra asked.
"It seems that's what it is." Frederica replied.
The man swung his arm our forward. "Split into fives! Remember your training! We'll distract the target!" His face was determined. "All attack teams prepare to move up!" Soldiers on the horses took some small strapped devices that were attached to the sides of them and started launched small ropes out of them. One by one they all started to fly off their horses into the air.
"Woah! What the Hell are those?!" Al yelled out.
"Did you all see the way the flew off like that?!"
"Is this some of the technology in Natuski-san's world? It doesn't looked that hard to produce." A greedy little woman in furry clothing said.
"My, now this is starting to get interesting~" The drawn our voice of a certain clown mused.
All the soldiers fly around in between the trees towards the titan. "We'll close in on it from the sides!"
One of them came out from behind one of the giant trees and with two swords in each hand and closed in on the titan. "Have a taste of mankind's strength!" The man swung his blades forward and the screen turned black.
Some of the younger people in the crowd groaned as they were cut off from the action.
To You, 2000 Years From Now, The Fall of Shiganshina pt. 1
"Interesting title, "2000 years from now?" that's a long time for a message? If that's what the title is implying." The head of the Karsten household said.
Reinhardt had his own theory. "It probably has something to do with whatever story the screen is showing us from Subaru's world."
"Agreed, Betty's contractor never mentioned things like this."
"Probably for good reason..." Al whispered to himself. If the screen really was showing what he thinks it is, it was not going to be pretty.
As the everyone murmured about the title and years the seemed to ignore the other subtext under it about the fall of a city.
Pairs of beautiful flowers appeared on screen. Blood, death, and violence the started showing in a rapid pace.
Needless to say it caught everyone off guard.
"The fuck was all that shit?!" Garfiel yelled.
"Frederica-sama, I'm scared.." Petra quietly muttered, the bigger maid wrapped her arms around her tighter.
"You're going to be okay." She reassured her.
Everyone else was still silently reeling from what the screen showed to them.
Then everyone's favorite boy suddenly jolted awake from his slumber on screen, birds started flying away from the tree above him.
"Subaru-kun!"
"Natsuki-san!"
He was laying on a hill under a lone tree. someone else was with him. As the camera cut back to him he looked terrified.
"Subaru looks like he had a nightmare to wake up like that." Emilia said, she held his hand tighter, making sure not to break them like Screen-sama said.
Beatrice cringed on the inside of her younger contractors face. She remembers sleeping next to him when he had nightmares. How he would scream and wake up then brush it off. It was so hard to comfort him not knowing what was wrong. She's glad she knows now.
'Betty will always be by your side, in fact.' She thought.
Subaru looked up to see a cute girl standing over him.
Then men in the room inwardly groaned knowing what was coming because of this.
"Huh, Mikasa?"
"We should head back."
"Why are you here?"
"Were you in a deep sleep and still think you're dreaming?"
"No, I think I was having a really long dream."
"Even before he came here, Subaru-dono had dreams of death." Wilhelm stated. The mood in the room dimmed a little. Did Subaru always have issues that involved death?
"What was I dreaming about? I can't remember."
"Ha? Subaru-kyun couldn't remember a dream like thyat?"
Mikasa picked up a bundle of sticks that were on her back and looked back at Subaru. "Subaru, why are you crying?"
"Huh?" Subaru had tears running down his face.
Beatrice held her little hands tightly to her contractors side. This reminded her all too well of the worst nights he would have.
Year 845, Shiganshina District
"Shiganshina. This must be where Natsuki-san hails from."
The town now came into view. Protected by the wall that surrounded it. Titans stood outside the wall standing around or clawing at it.
"Those things are repulsive too look at. To violate my eyes with this." A fiery princess said aloud.
"They all just look like giant humans. Wouldn't they be easy to take down?" The big wolf man Ricardo said.
"If that was true these people probably wouldn't be hiding behind the wall." Julius pointed out.
"Hear! The walls were created with God's wisdom! The walls are the work of God! Not one soul shall dare desecrate the walls!" A man in cloth was screaming to the crowds of people as they kept walking by.
"Do the people here worship the giant walls?" Otto asked.
"Such a thing sounds ludicrous, worshipping something like a wall." The pink haired maid.
Subaru and Mikasa were walking back home. "Don't tell anyone that I was crying."
"I won't."
They all knew now why Subaru would be so adamant about not telling anyone that he was crying from something as simple as a dream. Subaru hated being seen as weak.
"But if you don't know why you were crying, maybe you should talk to your dad about it?"
"Are you kidding me? I can't tell my dad about that!"
"What were you crying about, Subaru?" A blond haired man appeared on the screen in front of the two children. A noticeable pink hue on his face.
"Hannes."
"Is Mikasa mad at you?"
"What? Why would I be crying? You reek of alcohol!"
A few men around a table started giggling after Subaru yelled at them. "Nothin wrong with that!"
The three knights, Julius, Reinhardt, and Ferris already didn't like this. To be drunk while on duty is unbecoming of a knight of any type.
"You're drinking again?"
"Wanna join us?"
The people in the audience now for sure didn't like this Hannes fellow. Offering booze to a small child while on duty for his guard work.
"Subaru-kun don't listen to him!"
"What a disciple man, offering alcoholic drinks to children." Reinhardt would arrest this man if he could. Or at the very least give him a clear scolding.
"Um... Aren't you on duty?"
"Yeah! Aren't all of these guys on duty?"
"Yeah, we're watching the gates today. We've been here all day. Started getting hungry and thirsty. But it's not a big deal if we happen to drink something with a little alcohol in it."
Subaru tensed up and was getting mad.
"Oh, Subaru's getting mad!" Emilia cheered on. Everyone else got excited to see how a kid version of Subaru would be if he was angry.
"But if you're drunk, how are you gonna fight?"
"Huh? When would we have to fight?"
"Do you really have to ask? When they break the wall and come in!" The screen immediately cut to a fish getting it's head chopped off.
"Dammit! it got me again!" Felt yelped. Is the screen going to keep fucking with her like this?! "Don't even think about what you are about to say Reinhardt!" Her knight smiled at her and nodded.
Emilia looked at all the people walking around the market on the screen. The market is where she first met Subaru in his very first loop, what started all of this happening now.
"Ouch. Subaru, don't say things like that out loud."
One of the drunk men got up out of his chair and walked to them. "If it isn't Dr. Natsuki's son. You've got spirit, kid. If they do end up breaking the wall, we'll do our jobs. But you know what. Not once in the past 100 years have they broken the wall."
"All this talk between these commoners about the walls being broken down just already tells me that they are going to fall." The people in the room got hit with the realization of what was probably going to happen. The wall that was protecting everyone is going to be turned down. All of them were going to see their friend suffer more.
The four girls already surrounding him only got a little closer. They didn't want to believe that's what was going to happen but Priscilla's words were now ringing through their heads.
"My dad said that it's times like these when we're in the most danger!"
"Dr. Natsuki said that? Well, he's right. He saved our town from aa plague before. We can't thank him enough. But these titans are a different story."
"Subaru-dono's father sounds like a wise man."
Reinhardt nodded at his grandfather's words. "I would feel honored to meet him someday."
"I see titans walking around all the time when I mend the walls. But, speaking as a soldier, I don't think they can do anything about this 50 meter wall."
They were all suddenly reminded of what they say at the start of the episode, that giant hand that was grasping the wall, the big head looking over it. The wall was going to most definitely fall isn't it?
"S-So... you don't even have the will to fight them?"
"Nope."
Julius shook is head in heavy disapproval. To have the gall to not even have a will to fight a potential enemy. Especially one's that are standing right outside your home as you speak. This behavior will only come to bite these men back in the rear.
"What?! Why don't you stop calling yourselves the Garrison and call yourselves the Wall Clean Up Club!"
"Heh." The smallest laugh came from Ram as Subaru insulted these men's profession. She liked this part of Subaru. A small frown formed on her face, she missed the banter the two of them had. When was he going to wake up?
"But Subaru, when people see soldiers fighting, they know something bad happened. Everyone's much happier when we're doing nothing and getting called useless freeloaders."
Some of the crowd members understood the point in the drunk's words.
Subaru's fist tightened as he was angry. "Yeah, I know. We might not get out, but we'll live as long as we can eat and sleep. But... We're living like... Like Cattle." Hannes was surprised at his words.
"Yeah, you tell em' Cap'n!"
"Living like they are livestock? Have these people just been living behind the wall and that's it, I suppose?"
Subaru started walking away from Hannes calling out to him. "Hey, Subaru! Does he want to join the Survey Corps?" The blond said with a surprised face.
"Survey Corps?" Emilia asked.
"Are they the people we saw at the beginning of the showing?" Julius inquired.
"Oh! Does big bro get to use one of those cool things they were flying around with?!" Felt asked excitedly
Subaru and Mikasa were walking up the hill to their house. "Subaru, I don't think you should join the Survey Corps."
"What, you think they're stupid too?"
"I'm not saying they're stupid or anything."
"Who is Mikasa? The two of them have been running around together the whole time." Emilia turned her attention to Beatrice. "Has Subaru ever mentioned her before?"
Several people in the room looked at the great spirit with questioning gazes. "No, Betty's Subaru has never mentioned this girl, in fact. Betty wants to say that she's seems to be a friend but they look closer then what the screen is showing."
The bells started ringing at the gates of the wall.
"The Survey Corps is back! The front gate is opening! Let's go Mikasa! The heroes have returned."
"Subaru-kun is so cute when he's excided." Rem stated with stars in her eyes.
Ram rolled her eyes at her sisters words, the phrase "Damn Barusu" running though her mind.
Subaru and Mikasa both stood on boxes and looked on at the soldiers returning home. The blond one in the front covered in blood stains. He looked over at the excided Subaru and turned his head away from him immediately.
"Whatever they were facing it seems it didn't go well at all." Ricardo said. Several of the knights in the room looked uncomfortable already.
A showcase of all the returning scouts covered in bandages and blood were now appearing on screen. Many of them were injured, missing a limb, and had horrified and shocked looks on their faces.
Everyone was shocked at the display. "Look at all those wounds that need to be attended too.." Felix quietly muttered.
"Maybe this Mikasa girl is right, big bro shouldn't join the Survey Corps." Emilia and Rem nodded and agreed with her, Subaru doesn't need to suffer more.
"Why are there so few of them?"
"A bunch of them were eaten."
"W-what?" Otto said first, the words that came to everyone's mind.
"This is what you get for going outside the walls."
"Moses! Moses!" A woman came barreling out of the crowd. "My son, Moses, I can't find him! Where is my son?"
Al sighed tiredly, "I really don't like where this is going." The rest of the camps sat and watched in the now really uncomfortable silence.
"It's Moses mother. Bring it here." The man next to him handed him over a small cloth. When the woman opened it, it was bloodied and bruised severed arm.
"Ah, shit." Garfiel muttered, not even yelling.
"The titans eat people?" asked a shocked Julius.
"That was the only part of him we could salvage." The commander said as the distraught mother broke down onto the ground.
Ferris felt a small pang hit his chest as he watched the woman cry. As a healer breaking the news of death to someone was always hard to do.
"But my son was useful, right?" She said, "He might not have been a hero, but he at least died helping mankind fight back, right?!" The crowd all stood in silence as the mother was yelling at the commander.
He now looked nervous. "Of course! No... During this mission, we... No, even after all our missions, we still haven't made any progress! I'm a failure. I've just gotten soldiers killed left and right! And we haven't learned anything useful about the titans!" The screen faded to black as the soldiers all now started to march away.
"That's... That was..." Reinhardt started, but he couldn't think of the words of what he just saw.
A certain red haired princes on the other hand...
"What a weak and pathetic fool! Breaking down like that in front of all those commoners and telling them he was a failure."
"That could have been handled way better." Ricardo stated. The room unanimously agreed with him.
Two men started talking shit when the soldiers left. "So all we've been doing is offering ourselves to them as lunch?" A stick smacked him on the back of the head. "What was that for, kid?"
"Yeah! Get Em' Cap!"
"Classic Barusu, starting fights that he can't win."
"Hey! What are you doing? Mikasa!" The small girl dragged Subaru and when they reached a safe distance she threw him at a wall as hard as she could. Sticks flying everywhere as he landed on the ground.
"Holy shit did you see that?!" Al yelled to everyone in the room.
"Impressive for someone that size to throw another person like that, especially with one arm." Crusch stated, even on the inside she was a little upset seeing him be thrown like that.
Rem felt some anger rise in her chest after seeing her Subaru-kun being thrown at the hard stone wall. Subaru started the fight but, he didn't deserve to be hurt, maybe scolded at least.
Emilia puffed her cheeks after seeing what happened to her knight. He didn't need to be hurt like that he was still just a kid.
Roswal smiled in delight as he sat in the back of them room. Seeing that boy tossed like a ragdoll brought some joy to his heart. His pink maid noticed this and frowned at him, he wavered his joy.
"What was that for? Look at all the wood!"
"Subaru have you changed your mind about joining the Survey Corps?"
The little boy would look at her surprised before turning his head away from her. "Help me pick this up."
Crusch interjected first. "She doesn't want him to join the military to go outside the walls." Inside she didn't want Subaru joining the either to risk getting eaten by a titan.
"Clearly a buffoon like that boy would not be fit." He was still just a child, the screen has shown nothing promising of him yet. Nothing impressive.
Subaru and Mikasa finally arrive home. "Were back."
Both of Subaru's parents are shown on screen his dad sitting at the table and his mom doing dishes. "Welcome home." Subaru dumped all the sticks into a box. "I'm surprised you gathered this much firewood today."
"Yeah..." His mom reached down and pinched his ear. "What was that for?"
"Your ear was red. you were lying. Mikasa helped you, didn't she?"
"Subaru-kun has his mother's eyes." Rem mused.
"Huh? Dad, are you headed out? For work?"
"Yeah I have to go see someone in the inner walls. I'll be back in two or three days."
As everyone continued to eat there food the camera cut to Mikasa. "Subaru wants to join the Survey Corps."
Naoko looks back in shock, Kenichi slowly lifts his head from his book. Subaru drops his plate on the table in surprise. "Mikasa, you traitor!"
"Do his parents not know about him wanting to join the Survey Corps?" Otto asked.
"Clearly they don't, look how Barusu's mom reacted."
"I wouldn't want Subaru to join them either." The titans were scary, they already watched Subaru get eaten once. They don't want to see it again.
"Subaru what are you thinking?! Do you know how many people have died going outside the walls?"
"I do!"
"Clearly you don't!"
"Subaru, why do you want to go outside the walls?" His father spoke.
"I wanna know what's going on out there. I'd hate to live my entire life inside these walls as an ignorant! If no one here wants to pick up where they left off all the people who laid their lives so far did so in vain."
"Natsuki-kun really knows how to say inspirational words." Spoke Crusch.
"Barusu saying something smart and insightful? Must not be the real one."
"I see. My ship's here and I must be going."
"Wait dear! Help me convince Subaru!"
"Naoko, nothing can suppress a human's curiosity."
"As I said earlier Subaru-dono's father seems like a very wise man."
Julius jumped in to Wilhelm's statement. "While his father has no qualms about his son leaving for the military, his mother doesn't approve."
"Subaru. After I return I'll show what I have been keeping a secret in the basement." He showed the key he kept around his neck. Subaru's father left as the three people in his family waved goodbye.
"The basement? What secret is his father hiding from him?" Frederica asked, the other little maid still being held in her arms.
"From what Mr. Natsuki's been implying it might have to be something to do with the outside world." Reinhardt guessed.
"I won't allow it. Something as stupid as joining the Survey Corps."
"Stupid? The only one's who are stupid are those comfortable enough to stay behind these walls like cattle!" Subaru ran off as his mom was calling to him.
Emilia looked down to her slumbering knight. "You shouldn't be arguing with your mom like that Subaru." She muttered quietly. She just held his hand a little tighter.
"Listen to your mother kid, as they say mom always knows best." Al said in a snarky tone.
His mother turned over to Mikasa and told her that the two of them to watch over each other when things get out of hand. The little agreed and ran off to join Subaru.
The screen cut to a blond kid being slammed against the wall. "What's the matter heretic? If your not happy about being hit just hit back!"
"Why would I do that? I won't stoop so low."
"Say that again!"
"You're beating me up because you know I'm right and you can't prove me wrong. Doesn't that mean you've admitted that you're wrong?"
Felt shook her head in disapproval. "Why is he just standing there and taking it? Fight!"
"Pathetic mongrel won't stand to defend himself, just disgraceful."
Emilia saddened at the sight displayed on screen. "Why are they beating him up? They are all just kids why can't they be nice to each other?"
The older people in the room turned and looked at her in pity. She was still naïve on the things around her still.
The boys were stunned at the blond kid's words. "Enough with your crappy arguments!" He raised his fist again.
"Stop!" Running down the alleyway towards them was an angry Subaru ready to fight.
Julius let out a small giggle at the sight. "Here he comes, right in to the charge."
"We have seen Subaru fight with his fists before, how he will face his opponents as a child I wonder?"
"Probably not as good he is still a kid." Replied Otto.
The half elf girl felt worry rise in her chest as she saw her knight charge forward right into a fight with the other kids. She was so sick of seeing him get hurt in any capacity.
"It's Subaru! What a moron. He's back again."
"Does he want to get his ass handed?"
"We'll teach you a lesson!" The third one then looked ahead closer to see what was behind Subaru. "Mikasa's with him!"
For a little girl she looked terrifying everyone in the room thought at the same time. It startled Petra the most, Mikasa didn't look that much older than her.
"Look at the way she's running! She's ready for a fight!" Al yelled in his excitement.
"If she's always ready for a fight than maybe it's because a certain boy is always picking fights with the other children in town." Commented Anastasia.
"Shit! Run!" All three of them turned tail and ran away.
"Hey, they ran away after seeing me!"
Roswaal snorted at his comment.
His amusement was followed by Ram.
Then Julius.
And Also Priscilla.
Reinhardt rubbed his hand down his face with his almost always present smile. "Oh Subaru..."
"No, they ran after seeing Mikasa. Ow."
"Hey, are you okay Armin?" Subaru reached his hand out to try and pull his friend off the ground. He would only look down in shame.
"I can stand up by myself."
"Oh, sorry." Subaru said.
The audience felt bad for him. From what they saw he was absolutely used to this kind of occurrence happening to him.
"Poor kid, this is probably happens often to him." Ricardo pointed out for everyone.
"So after telling them that mankind needs to go outside eventually they beat me, calling me a heretic."
"Dammit." Subaru threw a rock into the water below. "We just want to go outside, why does everyone hate us?"
Crusch noticed a pattern from the people's behavior on the screen. "Besides for this "Survey Corps" going outside the wall is a taboo idea for them?"
"It seems so, the idea of the titans must terrifying for them. So in response they don't want anybody to leave the walls." Reinhardt responded.
Armin started talking. "Well, it's been peaceful living inside these walls for the past 100 years. Titans might be let inside when people leave the walls, so the kings' government banned people from showing interest to the outside world."
Felt got a shit eating grin on her face as she turned to her knight. "Wow, you were almost right on it Reinhardt." The sword saint felt happiness rise up from his chest from being praised by her, he had a big smile on his face. Felt noticing this just went "Hmpf" and turned right back around. He got puppy dog eyes.
"So their own king won't let them think about leaving to the outside world." Emilia asked in her confusion.
"It is strange, I suppose. If the king won't let people show interest to the outside world then why does the Survey Corps exist then, I wonder?"
It was an odd thought for all of them to process. Why not be allowed to know about the outside world if the only thing out there is the titans?"
"Were risking our own lives, no one has to stop us."
"You can't do that." Mikasa spoke up. The two boys looked down at her as she sat on the stair. "No way."
"Mikasa how dare you tell my parents!"
"She probably doesn't want you to be eaten Natsuki-san..." The green merchant said quietly.
"I don't remember agreeing to help you."
Armin turned back to Subaru. "So how did it go?"
"Well, they weren't happy about it."
Julius coughed. "That's kind of underplaying it."
"I figured. People are crazy for believing that these walls will protect us forever. Even though the walls have been intact for the past 100 years, there's nothing that can guarantee they won't be broken down today."
A gigantic feeling of dread came to everyone as they listened to the small child's words. If the clip at the beginning of the episode was any indication he was 100% right about everything he just said.
The eyes of everyone widened at the full realization that the wall coming down was a certainty they were going to see happen.
"Subaru-kun..." Rem spoke with a chill down her spine. Right next to her Ram was also afraid, but she wouldn't admit it.
Emilia looked right back down to her peaceful knight, she wants nothing bad to happen to him. Deep in her heart she knows now for Subaru that, that type of thing wasn't true.
A viscous and loud streak of lighting crashed down to the ground from behind the wall. The force from it sent everyone tumbling and falling to the floor beneath them.
"Subaru!"
"Cap'n!"
"Subaru-kun!"
The trio got up from the dirt. "Wh-What was that? Was it an explosion?" The kids turned to see the townspeople running down the path trying to see what's happened.
"Over there!"
"Something fell?"
"I'm not sure."
Armin started running forward. "Hey, Armin!"
"What happened? What are you looking at?" Subaru looked up at the wall and gasped in shock. A hand was grabbing on to the wall.
Everyone knew what was coming, something completely horrible yes. But were they all prepared for it again? To see their friend suffer?
"You're kidding that wall is 50 meters high!"
His eyes were close up and widening at the sight before him. "It's them..." The colossal titan lifted it's head to view over the wall. "Titans!"
The colossal titan begun to aim to kick in the wall.
"Fuck! It's going to kick it in!" Al shouted.
"Subaru and friends! Run for cover!" Mimi yelled from below.
He breached the wall, the people up close to it annihilated by the sheer force from the breach. People were sent flying from the wind. Boulders and rubble started smashing into the buildings and crushing the people below. The three bullies from earlier splattered by one of them. A clear hole was now shown in the front.
"By the Dragon..." Reinhardt said in shock at what just transpired.
Emilia grasped her knight's hand tightly and tried to hold him close. She was telling herself in her mind for him to be okay and survive what was coming.
Beatrice snuggled up to the his sleeping form and held onto him tightly. "Please be okay."
A back view of the Colossal was shown, any army of titans following right behind him.
"There's so many of them." Felt muttered in fear, she unknowingly got closer to her knight for support.
Frederica in turn held her little maid in training that was now shaking in fear of what she was watching. "is Subaru going to be okay?" She sniffled.
The senior maid turned to the screen and back to the little girl. "We will have to see."
Garfiel smashed his two fists together in fury. "I'm goin' to kill that big fucker!"
The colossal titan fell back and disappeared from behind the now breached wall.
"H-He... made a hole in the wall..." Armin said in shock."
Coming from the shade emerged the first titan to walk inside of the wall. There tall forms looking at the people below ready to devour them.
"One's coming!"
"The titans are inside!" Everyone started to run for their lives towards the back gate.
"We need to get- Subaru!"
"My house is over there... Mom is..." Mikasa ran after him.
"Mikasa!" Armin screamed
"Shit, shit, shit!" Ricardo said in anger, knowing their friend something bad was coming.
"No..." Ram said lowly. "No, not his..."
Armin wanted to reach out but lowered his hand. "It's over. The titans have invaded this town!"
Subaru and Mikasa ran as fast as they could down the path to there house bumping into people and seeing those who were killed by the initial attack on the wall.
"Our house is definitely safe! Once I make a turn here, our house will be there like always!" Turning the corner to his home he screamed in agony. "Mom!"
"Fuck!" Garfiel screamed.
"Subaru-dono, no..."
"One of the biggest one's just landed on top of his house." Julius said.
"Mom!" Subaru screamed the older woman looked just barely awake.
"Subaru!" She said at his arrival.
"Mikasa grab that side. We need to move the pillar." The two kids struggled to lift the hard wood with their small forms.
Everyone watching wanted to be there. To protect them. To lift help them lift the pillar. Just to do something to make sure they all made it out safely.
The two kids felt a large stomping coming there way, a giant smiling titan started walking down the pathway.
"Hurry, Mikasa!"
"I know!"
The two of them continued to try and lift the pillar and struggle to do so.
Naoko started to talk. "The titans are coming in. Subaru, take Mikasa and run. Hurry!"
"I want to run too!" The screen showed his fingers now all bloodied from him trying to pick up the wood crushing his mom. "Hurry up and get out!"
Felix yelped at the sight. "Nyah! His fingers are being torn from the wood!"
"He's trying his best to try and save her! But the two of them are too weak to lift the wood!"
"Subaru hurry up, I suppose!"
"My legs have been crushed from the debris. I can't run even if I get out." Subaru looked at her terrified. "Do you understand?"
"She's crippled, even if he get's her out she'll still slow them down." Priscilla said, a hint of pity in her voice.
"I'll carry you and run!"
"Why can't you just listen to what I say for once?!" Mikasa watched as the mom screamed at her son, tears in her eyes. "Please just listen to me! Just one last time!" She then called out to Mikasa.
"No... No!" The little girl was now breaking down.
"At this rate, all three of us will..." A noise was heard as familiar blond man came down from above.
"Hannes!"
"This guy?! Wasn't he just drunk off his ass?!" Garfiel yelled in anger.
The mother screamed out to him. "Take the kids and run!"
"Don't take me lightly, Naoko. I'll kill the titan and save all three of you." He drew his blades charged towards the enemy.
"Wait! You can't fight it!"
"She's right. I can definitely save the both of them. But now is my opportunity... to repay my debt!"
"His debt?" Anastasia said.
"He probably owes Natsuki-kun's family something from the past."
They all watched impatiently to see if the soldier on screen can actually kill one of the titans.
Hannes stopped as he froze in terror.
The titan looked down on him from above, a horrifying smile plastered across it's face.
Frederica held onto Petra tightly as the monster was taking up the screen in front of them.
Emilia's eyes widened in fear as she stared at the screen.
Beatrice held on to her contractor closer looking for comfort.
Rem locked fingers with her sister right next to her, the latter also frozen in shock at the face on screen.
Even the margrave Roswaal felt an ounce of fear travel up inside him. The same thing could be said for the fiery princess, holding her fan tightly as it covered her lower jaw.
Felt Held on to her knight, Julius grasped his chair harder. Everyone finally got a proper look at the face of what the people in Subaru's world were fighting and they were all horrified.
Hannes put his blades away and ran to pick up Subaru and Mikasa and started running.
Garfiel was ready to throw his chair at the screen in outrage. "You fuckin' coward! Leaving Cap'n's mom to die!"
"Pathetic, absolutely pathetic." Priscilla spat in disgust on the display. How dare he call himself a soldier.
The trio of knights were angry, disappointed mostly. How the man didn't even try he immediately turned to run.
"Hey, Hannes! What the hell are you doing?"
Naoko smiled sadly. "Thank you."
"Mom is still trapped in there!"
"Subaru! Mikasa! Live on!" She held her hand to mouth as the tears ran down her face. "Don't go..."
Rem choked on her breath.
Beatrice froze at the woman's words.
Emilia felt the ice running up her spine.
The titan arrived behind the fallen mother. Subaru watched as the creature started going through the rubble and picked his mom up.
"STOP!"
"She's kicking her legs around in it's grasps!" Al said in horror.
Anastasia sobbed knowing what she did. "She was lying to protect him so he would run away."
Subaru watched as the titan bit down on his mother, her blood spraying everywhere as it devoured her.
"On that day, mankind received a grim reminder. We lived in fear of the titans, and were disgraced to live in these cages we called walls.

Emilia and Beatrice were crying as they held Subaru, tears staining his iconic tracksuit again. He had to watch his mother get eaten by a monster in front of him and there was nothing he could do about it since he was a child.
"Betty will help you forget about that world, I suppose. Why do you have to suffer like this everywhere?"
"Subaru I'm so sorrrry!" The half elf said as she cried into his shoulder. It was like misfortune followed her knight everywhere. No matter where he went disaster would follow him.
Ram was holding her sister as she was sobbing at the screen. 'Dammit Barusu why... why do you have to...' She went back to comforting Rem, not knowing tears of her own were slowly falling out of her eyes. Roswaal watching the pair with the smallest amount of sympathy in his eyes.
Crusch was holding on her feelings as to not bring morale down any lower than it was after seeing Subaru's mother die like that. She was rubbing her knight's back as he slowly cried. Wilhelm right next to her as she did so.
"Why do bad things always have to happen to big bro?" Felt whimpered into Reinhardt's chest.
"I wouldn't know my lady. I really wish I knew why." He wants nothing more than just to help him, why wasn't he allowed to do something as simple as that.
Julius stood by his candidate's side as she sat weeping. Ricardo comforted the little neko's as they huddled up against him.
Priscilla only sat in silence as everyone around her broke down. She wouldn't cry, she was above that. She could feel pity for the teen boy everything that could go wrong for him, would go wrong.
Al looked to the screen as it blackened for the next showing. The eyes inside his helmet hardening. "So that is what was happening behind those damn walls..." He muttered to himself, not even his lady could hear him.
The next episode started playing.
So that was something.
This idea was sitting in my head so I just wrote it down and were going to see where we can take it from here.
This is also my first react fic so you can leave any tips you want or tell me if I should add more reactions in certain spots on here because I felt like I should have.
My other problem is, is that Attack on Titan is fucking long. so here's what I'm thinking. Either we try our God damn best to get through the whole series or I pick the most iconic episodes in order and we pretend that the cast has watched up to that point already. So that's what we will go with.
And shout out to Reactionist to pretty much starting his own sub genre for this fic community with the cast reacting to other universes and things. Seriously these are the most fun I've had reading fics in a while.
