Liza Marie's Not-So-Imaginary Friend
Chapter 1: Nono
When Liza Marie Anderson was a baby Kurt and Blaine would hear her laugh and giggle as she looked at something that wasn't there. A week after they visited Quinn Puckerman's house which they had been doing since she lost her husband Noah.
When Liza Marie started to talk Kurt and Blaine couldn't believe the words that were coming out of her mouth. They would even notice that she would say, "Nono." a lot and act like the Hulk even before she ever saw any of the movies he was in.
One day they took Liza Marie to the cemetery and when they stopped at Noah Puckerman's grave. Liza Marie was acting like she was playing peek-a-boo with someone, but they were the only ones in the cemetery.
As Liza Marie got older Blaine started to drink more to deal with stress and would hit Kurt in front of her. He would try to hit Liza Marie but was stopped by some unknown force. Blaine just could never hit Liza Marie.
Then one day Kurt heard Liza Marie talking to what sounded like Noah Puckerman, while she was playing in her room. But when he went to her room there was no one there, and he began to think it was all in his head.
Until Blaine was about to spank Liza Marie with a belt one day and Kurt heard someone that sounded a lot like Noah say, "Lay one hand on her and I will kill you! You son of a bitch!" Just before Blaine's arm is stopped.
A week later, Blaine is about to hit both Kurt and Liza Marie, who were naked, with a belt. When he is knocked against the wall and Kurt hears Noah's voice say, "I told you, if you lay one hand on her, you're dead! Kurt, go I got this, man!"
Kurt really had no clue what he was going to tell his dad or Carole when they got to the police station. But after Liza Marie said, "Nono saved us!" It was Carole that asked, "Who's Nono, sweetie?" Liza Marie just smiled and said, "My friend." But wouldn't elaborate further.
Even though, Kurt did hear Noah's voice tell him to go. Kurt went back to Blaine because he still loved him. Burt thought Kurt was crazy but didn't stop him.
One day Burt and Carole saw Sarah Puckerman visiting Noah's grave and heard her say, "You'll always be Nono to me Puck." Before she left. This made them look at each other and say, "Puck, is Liza Marie's friend?" Before Burt says, "Ha, that must be who she heard say those cuss words."
Then he went over to Noah's grave and said, "Puck, If you'll keep watching Liza Marie. I will try to get them out of that hell as soon as possible. Ha, I'm guessing her love for you makes you stronger than Finn or Elizabeth." Soon he hears a whispered, "Yes!" Before the wind knocks Burt's cap off his head.
A week later, Burt and Carole were woken up in the middle of the night hearing a ghostly scream. Before Santana calls them telling them Kurt and Liza Marie was in the hospital. Plus, Blaine was in jail for spousal abuse.
Soon they are in the hospital room that Kurt and Liza Marie are in. When Burt sees a flicker of two shadows and hears the voice of Kurt's mom Elizabeth say, "I've been watching her too, Burt and I asked Noah to help me watch her after Kurt went to see Quinn when Liza Marie was a baby. By the way, Quinn knows some secrets about Liza Marie's Papa Blaine. Let's just say he is like Nick was to Norah."
Before Burt can say anything the shadows are gone and Santana is walking in with Rachel St. James who says, "Quinn told us about Blaine and that she wasn't at Santana's wedding because she didn't want to watch Kurt marry Blaine knowing that he was just like Puck's dad. God, I can't believe he would do this to our daughter."
As Rachel says, "our daughter." Santana hears Noah's voice say, "She's my daughter!" Then Burt and Santana see Noah's shadow this time.
When Rachel leaves Santana says, "Puck, Liza Marie is not Beth. Now, calm down!" Then they hear Noah's voice say in a low growl, "I know that, but I have been more of a dad to her then Blaine or Rachel has been a goddamn mother to her! I have watched her since she was a baby! I love her and she loves me!"
Soon they see Liza Marie raise up like someone is holding her in their arms and hear Noah humming and saying, "Daddy's here, baby girl, daddy's here." Before she is laid back down and they hear Noah saying something in Hebrew that sounded like a prayer.
Later that night, Burt is alone with Kurt and Liza Marie. When Quinn walks in and says, "I'm so sorry, Mr. H. I should have said something sooner." Burt just looks at Kurt as he says, "You're damn right you should have said something sooner, Quinn! I could lose Kurt and Liza Marie! Why the hell did you wait until now to say anything? My son and granddaughter could die!"
Soon Carole comes into the room and says, "Quinn, I think it's best that you leave now!" Before Quinn walks out and Burt hears Noah say, "Sorry, Mr. H. I'm supposed to tell you that Kurt will be with us soon. Elizabeth will leave and come back when it's your time to go. I'm going to stay and watch over Liza Marie. Let's just say Blaine cares more about his inheritance than his own daughter or Kurt. Sorry, for the cussing around her, but watching Blaine hurt Kurt was pissing me off, and I was trying to help Elizabeth protect Kurt too. I was just more help with Liza Marie. I didn't know that Quinn knew about all this. Ha, if I knew about this shit when I was alive. I would have helped you beat up Blaine or tried to get him away from Blaine myself. By the way, I need you to help Sarah leave her boyfriend. She tried that day you saw her at my grave, but he pulled the "I'll never do it again." crap."
Burt just looks at Kurt as he says, "if you'll keep Liza Marie safe, Puck. I'll help you with Sarah. I'm sorry I didn't help your mom when I could have, son. Oh, Puck, if Liza Marie is your daughter then you have been my son since Finn was. Ha, God, I hope Kurt don't think you were helping because you —," Then Burt hears Noah say, "Ha, you know he can hear you right? And he does not like me that way at all. Ha, Elizabeth is trying to calm him down right now. Plus, I am still straight, and he is like a brother to me! I might love Liza Marie and be like you. But my heart still belongs to Quinn, despite what she did or didn't do."
