Ep. 4 Sweet Tooth
After such a wonderful first day dating Penny Sunil was feeling great. It's been so long since he had felt so proud of himself the feeling was good. As soon as that last bell rang he was already half way on that bus and Penny wished to see him before school ended. He walked out the doors to see her waiting for him as he walked she did the same to him. "Hey Penny.." Sunil said in a soft voice. "Hello Sunil how was your day sweaty?" She asked as they walked together. "Well I mean it was fine but I just couldn't stop thinking about seeing you...you know" Sunil had a great funny feeling in his mind it was his first time trying anything with any girl and it was just so new. "So...where do we want to go tonight because I have my fathers truck tonight so we're good on transportation Penny" he asked. "Hmmm… I don't know Sunil, maybe somewhere to eat and hangout". Sunil stood there confused at her. "A Restaurant…" she said and now he understood her. "Well if you wanted to look our best for me get on home Sunny" Penny said to him then gave a small hug and got on her bus.
Sunil watched the bus drive off then decided to walk home since it wasn't far. He walked down the street thinking to himself "I can't believe I actually did it! I talked to her, held her hand, and now I'm doing my first date". "Hey look at you mister cool first date now your getting things done right kid" Fred said to him with a grin. "See after you give her that call she'll come to you and you the same then Bam! Match made just like a damn magic trick Sunil '' Fred had to admit Sunil may have not been the most exciting pet at first but when there is something he wants or needs he will act quickly to get it. "Now beside what we have been talking about over and over just focus on getting home quick because that Penny Panda has gotta see the most stand out handsome lookin mongoose her eyes will ever lay on, got it". Sunil agreed and began to run home as fast as he could.
He arrived home and didn't rest at all; he was already beginning to get ready for his date. He did everything, took a two hour shower, cleaned his best clothes, and even cleaned out his fathers truck to impress her in any way he could. After hours of prep he was ready for this and stood at his mirror for final changes. "Oh man you're looking like a hot shot man Kiddo" said Fred. "A hot shot man?" Sunil asked "Ehhhh...okay fine that was a shitty saying but you get the point you're looking good that's all Sunil". And with a final look and one big breath Sunil set off to Penny house. The trip wasn't long and he was already at her home. He parked in the driveway and texted her saying he was here. He was excited to see what she would look like on her first date with him and it was "What you thinkin, a nice shiny dress with beautiful jewelry...that probably fake but who cares right?" Fred told him. "I don't know Fred but I hope she is as pretty as she was at school. I look a lot better now than school...right?" Fred agreed with him and they waited for Penny. Then as she walked out of that house Sunil was so surprised to see her in the exact same outfit she wore at school today "What the fuck…..? Oh Jesus Christ you can't be serious thats the same shit she wore today after all that fuckin effort we did she walks out like she's going to bed!" Fred yelled. Sunil asked him to calm down and forget it as if it was anyway fine. She got into the truck "Hey babe, oh….sorry I didn't dress up because one I didn't feel like it two i really didn't have much to wear" Penny said. "The fuck you're sorry!" Fred yelled at her even though she couldn't see or hear him. "Well it's fine Penny, you're still pretty to me…anyway where are we going tonight?" Sunil asked as he started up the truck. Penny suggested they could go to a simple chinese restaurant so they headed that way. On the road the radio began to play a song Penny loved so she turned it up and sang along " Don't! Be scared cause i'm your body type! Just something we wanna try….were cool for the summer! Oh it's such good music Sunil it almost makes you wonder you know that old beater moron Pepper Clark right? Well she hates this music and that's why she has no friends besides Zoe. I don't know what's wrong with her being friends with that weirdo, Zoe is too good for that garbage". Fred wasn't feeling the best about this so far but he only could only hope Sunil would feel the same and act. "Well...Penny, some pets I guess have preferences like music and such. Can you really blame Pepper when she likes something and she has a friend for accepting her and makes the best from her?". Penny just looked at Sunil like he was crazy then asked "You're joking right? This is a joke...Sunil you can't tell me that thing is okay and completely normal. She will never get a guy in her life, nobody wants that nobody is that damn stupid to put thier hands on that". Fred thought to himself he didn't know Pepper at all but he did know that Penny was a rude pet.
They arrived at the restaurant and took their table. They scrolled the menu Sunil only wanted an average meal but Penny wanted a lot of things. So he made her happy and got her whatever she wanted. After a few minutes of waiting they got their food "Man this food is the best...wait you only got that small plate?" Penny said. Sunil didn't eat as much as Penny does; she loves food and can't seem to get enough. Sunil ate slowly looking at the decor and he asked her "You know...about what you said in the car do you expect me to make fun of Pepper like you do". "Well it's not really making fun of her it's more like im trying to help her down the right path to get the best things like friends, boyfriends, and most importantly better life than her sorry shithole". Sunil didn't believe anything she said made sense "Besides do we have to talk about her while we have OUR date Sunil c'mon you act like you give more of a shit about her than me". "I'm not saying I like her, Penny I'm saying I just don't agree with what you're saying about it but whatever, let's just eat and enjoy our date". Sunil soon finished his meal but just watched Penny eat and eat so he decided to do something. He grabbed her fork and treated her like a baby by feeding her. It was strange but she thought it was cute so they went along with it. He fed her a whole plate then the next. It was fun at first then it was an endless cycle and it got old quick and even miserable. After 4 plates of food she was finished. They went to the cash register and Sunil was surprised by the bill. The whole meal was 90$ since they had 5 plates even though he only had 1 small plate. He paid for it painfully then they left to take Penny home. As they got to her house he asked her "Hey, I'm sorry I acted like you were doing things wrong. I still don't know what I'm doing about this". Penny smiled and leaned to him "Then this might help…" she said then kissed him. Sunil was shocked that it was this fast but i guess he went along with it all. She left him speechless and all he did was watch her go to her home. "Jesus...I guess special occasions are out the window" Fred said as Sunil stood in silence. He turned on the truck and began to drive off not knowing what to think but it was definitely an experience and there was more to come.
