Chapter 1

(Juniper's Room)

The newly minted team slowly drugged their feet into the room. They were tired, they had to fight for their lives, but if the others were to die Jaune had the others back. He would have brought them back, why? Doh! I forgot to mention that, Mr. Arc was a 'Devil'. You see when he was younger, like, say 5 Jaune had wanted to train to become a hunter. His father wasn't trained until he was at least 7. He 'dove off the deep end' and started fighting grim when one of them was about to kill him as he was downed, bleeding from cuts and piercings.

As they were about to kill him, a huge woman came out and slaughtered all of them. Without batting an eye. She was dressed in a cross between a biker chick and a geisha. She had long blond hair and blue eyes but they were slightly slit. She looked just like his mom. "Well, you look like you're in trouble." She said, "I can save you." Jaune nodded, so she did and made him a vassal of her house. She took him home, healed him, trained him, and loved him.

He grew up learning about everything he could about his new family and learned how to channel his power, he had become very powerful and just became an Ultimate level devil. When he was younger, he had gained the respect and admiration of his fellow devils. Which made him the most loved and respected 'New Blood' devil in the Underworld.

When he hit 17, his adopted mother had decided that he was to go back to Remnant so he could become a hunter and the Underworld could have some influence there.

That's why he was there, so after he passed initiation and got his team 'Juniper' (JNPR) he was on his bed relaxing. Everyone was still talking about what Jaune did and how his team had rescued other teams that were trapped or cornered by grim. It wasn't against the rules but it was frowned on. The Headmaster, Ozpin, had named Juniper one of the best Freshman teams at Beacon.

Just then, a wolf-like being had appeared by his side, it was black and white with red eyes. "Lupina," he said as 'she' laid her head on to his lap. He stroked her head.

[Congratulations Master.] She sent to him, Lupina was Jaune's familiar. She's like a werewolf, she can change into a young woman with short white hair and red eyes. She was pale-skinned and dressed in a white tank top, black shorts, and sandals.

"Thanks, got enough contracts?" He asked, she nodded. "Okay, when you need more come back." But she didn't leave, "is something wrong?"

[You need comfort master.] Jaune relented and let her stay with him as he rested.

Later, Jaune awoke and Lupina was gone. Someone was on top of him, it was an adorable little girl. She was blonde and slightly tanned. She was dressed in a golden dress with a white apron, stockings, and a hairband. She was resting on his chest. There was a note:

Jaune,

Can you watch Alice for a day? I have to go and stop Sirzechs from doing something stupid. Again. Shouldn't take too long, maybe we can celebrate your getting into Beacon.

'I hope it isn't too bad. Who am I kidding? It's Sirzechs!' He sighed, grabbed her, and sat up. He yawned and walked into the team's kitchen. He sat her down in a high chair. He started to make her something to eat. Alice started to awake, she had very pretty aqua eyes and she saw Jaune.

"Da-Da!" She said, Jaune heard her, turned around, and smiled.

"There's my little princess," he said. He brought over two jars over to her. "What would you like to eat? Cereal or oatmeal?" He asked, she grabbed the oatmeal, he chuckled. "Okay," he opened the jar and started to feed her. She took the spoon and started to feed herself. He smiled, "Mama's been teaching you?" She nodded, "that's good. You've been a good girl for 'Nani'?" She nodded, "that's my girl." Just then someone came out of a room. It was Pyrrha, her hair was all over the place, she was wearing a black T-shirt, shorts, and socks.

"Good morning Pyrrha," he said.

"Morning Jaune," she said tiredly. He waited on her to come back in to see Alice. She shot out of the bathroom, "That's… That's…" She stammered topless.

"A toddler? Yes, and you're topless. Go take your shower, I'll make the coffee." She 'eeped' and rushed back into the bathroom. Alice giggled as Jaune chuckled, "well you finished that up. Want some more?" Alice nodded, so he gave her some more. As he was drinking some coffee, Ren was up and Jaune poured him a cup. He was in a tank top and sweatpants.

"Thanks, morning." He said.

"Good morning." Said Jaune, "oh meet my daughter; Alice. This is your uncle Ren."

"Renny!" She said, she clapped her hands.

"Yes, that's your uncle 'Renny'." Ren went over to the little girl.

"Who is she?" He said, "I mean, who's her mom?"

"Her mom is a very powerful huntress," Jaune lied. "She's dealing with a few morons right now. She asked me to watch over her." Just then Nora came in, Jaune slid a mug of coffee to her. "Morning Nora."

"Morning 'fearless leader'." She said, she took a sip of the life-giving liquid and saw Alice. "Who's…?"

"That's Alice, my daughter." Said Jaune, "pancakes are getting ready."

"Da-Da?" Said Alice.

"Yes?"

"Mr. Rabby," indicating her want for her stuffed bunny.

"Ren, there should be a bag on the couch next to you. Inside is a stuffed rabbit, could you get it for her please?" Ren sees the bag, and inside was a cute white rabbit plush, in a vest holding a pocket watch. He handed it to her.

"Here you go, Alice." He said as he handed the rabbit to her.

"Tank you Unca Renny." She said and hug him.

"You're welcome, Alice." Pyrrha had got out of the bathroom in a T-shirt and shorts. A towel around her neck.

"Now, I can introduce you properly." Said Jaune as he grabbed Alice as she was finished. "This cutie is my daughter Alice. Say hi to Auntie Pyr." She waved at her. Pyrrha was smitten by the little girl.

Then, Jaune had decided to drop a bombshell.

"Guys," he said. "I have been deceiving you." They looked at him.

"What do you mean?" Asked Pyrrha while holding Alice.

"Well, what do you know about 'devils'?"

"You mean, the sap in the red suit, with horns and a tail?" Asked Nora.

"Well, he did exist. But a long time ago, you're on the right track. But you see, I am one."

"That's ridiculous!" Said Pyrrha, Jaune's wings were revealed. "Are those… wings?" He nodded.

"It's a long story." So Jaune told them his story.
