Takes place around season 17. Noah was not adopted in this story line, Ellie got better and was able to regain custody.

"Husband was murdered. Looks like the wife was raped and he was forced to watch. Wife is in really bad shape." The ME explained to the detectives as they walked onto the scene. The stretcher with the woman was being wheeled out.

"Emily..." The woman moaned out. "Where is Emily?"

"Who's Emily?" Amanda asked softly.

"My daughter. She's 13. He must have taken her!" The woman explained. The beeping of the heart rate monitor started to freak out.

"We gotta get her out of here now!" The EMT alerted. They got the stretcher in the ambulance and they slammed the door and the vehicle took off.

"Well this just got worse." Carisi sighed and they went into the house to see the damage as well as find a picture of Emily for the Amber alert.

"This place is destroyed." Amanda observed as they walked in, trying to avoid the broken furniture and glass everywhere.

"Hey Rollins, I think you should see this." Sonny called from the entryway of the living room.

"What?" Amanda came up beside him and looked in the living room. There were pictures of Emily on the mantle but the reason Carisi alerted her was due to the eerie resemblance the young girl shared with Olivia.

"Did she have a kid and never tell us?" Carisi joked slightly. Amanda just walked over and picked up the latest school picture. It was a little crazy how much she looked like Olivia as a child, aside from the blue eyes.

"That is really creepy." Amanda shrugged it off as if it was just a weird coincidence and took the photo out of the frame and into an evidence bag. "Do we know anything else about this family?"

"Found these in the parents' bedroom." A uniform brought over a bag filled with prescription bottles. "None of them are in the same name. And there were a few voicemails on the guy's phone from an unknown number. This is the most recent one, from about 3 hours ago."

Time's up Jim. I'll be at your house in half an hour. You better have the money, I already have your daughter. I'll take your wife next.

"Well there's our guy." Amanda stopped the voicemail. She bagged the phone and handed it back to the officer. "Have TARU trace the number."

"Let's go and put out the Amber alert." Carisi commanded and left the house with Amanda following behind.

"We got a missing girl, Emily Peters. She's 13 years old. Father was involved in drugs and clearly pissed his dealer off." Olivia announced. Emily's picture appeared on the screen, Fin looked towards Olivia and back at the screen.

"Damn, Liv. She looks just like you." Fin pointed out. Olivia just stood there, ignoring the statement.

"TARU found that the phone calls were made by Ricky Shaffer. Busted multiple times on drug charges and domestic violence." Amanda continued on, sensing the tension from Benson, as she shared his picture to the large screen so the squad could see. "There have been multiple texts and phone calls exchanged between Jim Peters and Ricky Shaffer over the last couple of months."

"Do we know anything else about the Peters and their involvement with this guy?" Olivia questioned.

"No. Although I did find adoption records for Emily." Amanda answered. Fin looked over at Olivia who was just staring at the picture of the young girl that was on the screen.

"So he most likely has Emily." Carisi pointed out the obvious.

"He lives in the Bronx." The addresses popped up on the map.

"Alright well, Carisi and Amanda, you go to the house." Olivia instructed. As they got into their cars, Olivia couldn't help but tell something was up with Fin. So she had to ask when he followed her into her office. "Alright, what's up?"

"Amanda found more than just the adoption records for Emily. She brought them to me because she didn't want to say anything and she thought that I knew." Fin started off.

"Emily is my daughter, isn't she?" Olivia cut to the chase.

"Yes."

"And you know the father then I presume." Fin just stared at her.

"It was a mistake Fin." Olivia began.

"It was bound to happen Liv. We all knew it."

"What do you mean?" Olivia was shocked.

"Liv, I wish you could have told me."

"I didn't tell anyone truthfully."

"Not even Stabler?" Now was Fin's turn to be shocked.

"No, he doesn't know that I was pregnant. I thought about telling him but then he found out about Kathy being pregnant so I transferred because I knew if he saw me like that he would know it was his and he was already so conflicted after Gitano."

"How long were you two?" Fin hesitantly asked.

"It happened once. After Gitano. It was a low moment for both of us and we just didn't talk about it again afterwards." Fin's phone beeped with a text.

"Well, you're probably going to want to talk about it. Kara Peters died from her injuries." Fin informed, reading the information from the text message.

"So if we find her…"

"You could take custody of her if you wanted to." Fin finished the statement for her. "But let's focus on finding her first."

"Right." Olivia stated as she turned into the junkyard.

"Liv." Olivia turned to look at him as he stopped in the doorway. "We will all support you in whatever you decide."

"I know. Thank you." Olivia nodded.
