General Mundi was not a strategist, although he did better than other Jedi, Baccara had to admit to himself. Looking the man up and down, "I don't know why those women would be devoted to you, or why all of the children would love you so." Smiling, "But the Calaor of Cerea will soon be destroyed despite what you can do Jedi."
Mundi shook his head, "They are safe from you Sith."
The Sith laughed then pulled at tape out of his pocket and a child's voice came though, "No one can hurt us. Daddy will keep us safe Mama."
Baccara could see his General tense at this and even more at the woman's voice, "I know my little bird. And your bother will remember that as well."
When the recording ended the Sith look up, "Shall I kill you in front of them to show your weakness? Or shall…"
He never got any further, because Mundi let out a almost primal sound and launched himself at the Sith who did not have a chance under the vicious onslaught. As uncharacteristic as it was sudden it was over and he turned back to Baccara with the dismembered lump of a body behind him bleeding out, "Commander, secure the area and tend to the wounded."
Trying not to stare at the General Baccara just nodded. But as his Jedi walked away he thought what the kark?
