bopdog111: Alright everyone, it is time for me, and Ulrich to do the Yu-Gi-Oh! series me, and him have never worked on before.
Ulrich362: True, the seventh series... or the third/my favorite? It's a bit complicated.
bopdog111: Me, and him never did a fic involving SEVENS, and I watched it, and even Rush Dueled several times on EDOPro but it had been a while since I seen it, and I gotten this idea after observing Romin's real Deck... Well that, and the Legendary Spell, Pot of Greed is joining Rush Dueling.

It was a busy day ever since that fateful day. The time after Yuga defeated Nail by beating him with Maximum Summoning, Super Magitek Deity Magnum Over Road that carries Romin's, Gakuto's, and Luke's feelings all in one. Now after that Yuga is busy on something as usual with Kaizo back to normal after getting his Data back from Nail which was overseen by his friends.
"You making a new Road, Yuga?" Gakuto asked him curiously.
Yuga nodded with a grin, "Yeah after Nail, I had realized something."
"Realized what?" Luke asked feeling a bit excited for Yuga's new road.
Yuga turned to them grinning while Kaizo handed him a wrench, "That in order to stay ahead, and keep Rush Dueling exciting, I needed some new spark in it. Which is why, I am making this." He pointed to his new Road which looks like a small glass pod which the three blinked at. How exactly was Yuga able to make this stuff, shouldn't it cost a lot of money?
"This road here is what will take way to the future." Yuga jumped up grinning in front of his Road spreading his arms out, "Time Travel Road!"
"Time Travel Road?" Luke, Gakuto, and Romin asked in confusion by the name.
Kaizo at that decided to say, "It's basically, a Time Travel Machine that can allow one of us to travel to the past."
"Time Travel Machine, sounds pretty interesting!" Luke grinned feeling excited about it.
Well who wouldn't be? After all there would be a chance at meeting the greats like Yugi, and all those other people that saved the world millions of times. It would be awesome what kind of input they would pick on Rush Duels. Though Gakuto, and Romin don't think it is all that excited since Goha would try to take the Time Travel Road for their own purposes like they almost did with Kaizo if it wasn't for Yuga defeating Nail. They just hope Yuga knows what's doing this time.
Yuga turned to the Road with crossed arms admitting, "It's still at the Prototype Stages, and I haven't been able to transport big things without using too much power." He turned to the three stating, "But it's still works it just needs a lot of Space/Time Energy. If only I have a big supply of it, I can finish it without trouble but stuff like that's hard to come by even for Goha."
"So it's pretty much a unsuccessful Road." Gakuto shrugged hearing that.
Yuga shook his head however, "It's still early in development!" He then pointed out, "If I can test it with something bigger, then it can spark room for improvement but I don't know what since they can potentially get lost in the fabric of time."
Hearing that Romin looked at the machine thinking over before saying, "You can use it on me."
"What?" the three boys looked to her shocked.
Romin only shrugged, "Roa told me, one time I need to head out, and see more of the world. I guess this can qualify if it involves seeing what it was back then."
While Yuga was excited enough to get back to working on the Road for that, Gakuto protested, "But Romin, Yuga said you can get lost in the fabric of time! Aren't you worried about that!?"
"I am... But I get the feeling that, I somehow have to do this." Romin admitted to them, "Who knows... Maybe, I get an impact on Rush Dueling by that point."
With that said, and some insistence on Gakuto's part, Yuga made a small Road like a watch that will allow her to head back when done, and soon the Time Travel Road is complete as she stepped in where Yuga closes the pod, and typed in, "Okay Romin, you'll feel a slight shift but don't worry!"
Romin nodded as the pod builded energy as Gakuto saluted, "Romin be careful!"
"Good luck!" Luke cried with a smile while Kaizo cheered in before Romin nodded as the pod glowed bright which they covered their eyes looking to see Romin's gone but the pod looks overheated.
"She... She transported." Yuga stated in shock not expecting that to actually happen.
"You mean you didn't know it works?" Gakuto asked hearing that.
Romin meanwhile was in a spiraling portal as she fell down screaming while images popped up passed them which she sees a blue haired teenager fighting a brown tanned man wearing a robe, a green, and red haired boy that strangely resembles Yuga with a huge dragon struggling for control against a black aura, and a purple haired, and pink highlighted boy dueling against a white spirit where she sees she is falling into an image that shows of a black haired man with a white dragon screaming as she fell in.
Romin groaned slowly waking up looking around, "W-Where am I now...?" Deciding for help she walked around looking admitting, "For a non-Goha Corp period this is pretty advanced."
She walks around before finding out she is in a big city that is different before finding an Officer was looking around, and walked over, "Uh excuse me sir?"
He looked over only to pause. "Yes miss, are you looking for your parents?"
Romin hearing that shake her head before saying, "No sir. I'm new here, and I like to know what City this is please."
"This is New Domino City, where are you from?" the officer asked now looking suspicious of her.
"New Domino City..." Romin trailed off hearing that thinking, "Isn't that... Where Jack Atlas is the Duel King?"
"That's right." the officer answered.
'That must mean this is also where is Synchro Summoning...' Romin thought in awe looking up at the sky, 'Oh, I wished I told Roa to accompany me.' She turned to the Officer bowing politely, "Thank you sir." With that she turned to walk off.
The officer stared at her suspiciously before pressing a button on his radio.
"There's a strange young girl, she doesn't seem to be one of the scum from the Satellite but she isn't from New Domino City. How should I proceed, send her to the facility?" he inquired.
Who relied answered, "Keep an eye on her, and if she does anything suspicious arrest her immediately."
The officer nodded before following her discreetly.
Romin was looking around in the city unaware she's being followed seeing how advanced the city is, "This is some high quality stuff..." With that in mind she suddenly remembers what she can do for living arrangements due to her not having a home. Deciding to consult Yuga on it she pressed the watch asking, "Yuga, can you hear me?" Static had answered her which she tried again, "Yuga?" She poked it before it shorted out malfunctioning which she sighed, "Figures, Yuga didn't think to test it first..."
'What's she doing now?' the officer thought only to notice they were approaching the Arcadia Movement headquarters. 'Wait, don't tell me she's one of them.'
Romin soon notices the building, "Arcadia Movement...? Is this some kind of hotel?" With that she thinks she can give some shelter if she can explain her situation walking over to enter.
She entered just as a red-haired woman in a cloak walked out. Romin made contact with her briefly blinking as she walked off, 'That was weird...' Shrugging it off she entered looking around.
"Can I help you?" inquired a man who noticed her walk in.
Romin looked over before bowing politely, "Evening sir, I was acting looking to see if you can provide me some shelter here? I'm new here, and I like to have someplace to live."
"In that case you'll have to look elsewhere." the man told her. "Only certain people can come here."
"Certain people?" Romin asked hearing that, "What kind of certain people?"
"Psychics." he answered. "This is a safe haven for Psychic duelists."
Hearing that Romin told him with a slight grin, "Oh I use Psychics myself." Though unaware to her she thinks he's talking about Psychic Decks but not duelists that can use Psychic Abilities.
His eyes widened at that. "Is that so, then you wouldn't mind if I tested that for myself?"
"Your challenging me to a duel?" Romin asked hearing that.
"That's right you don't have to win the duel but I want to get a feel for your abilities." the man stated calmly. "My name is Sayer, the man in charge of the Arcadia Movement."
Romin hearing that grinned moving to say something but paused. She just remembered two problems, 1, This era doesn't use cards that are Rush Duel Cards which means Sayer doesn't know of it, and 2, Her Deck's half of what normal Decks can be. She knew she has to address this but decides only in private, "Well uh... Can we talk in private for a sec about that?"
Sayer raised an eyebrow at that before nodding. They walked arriving to her office where she explained, "Well... I like to accept your challenge but I can't duel with the way I am now."
"What do you mean, I can clearly see your deck and your Duel Disk... admittedly I've never seen one quite like yours though it should function properly correct?" Sayer inquired. "You don't have to win you know."
Romin however stated, "See both my Deck, and cards... Their not exactly what you know." With that she pulled her Deck showing that he sees it's shorter then other Decks before revealing the top card which was her ace, Prima Guitarna of the Colorful Light, which she obtained from her idol, Princess G, which reveals to Sayer it's a Rush Duel card.
His eyes widened. "This... what is this?"
"This is something my friend came up with Rush Duels. I had traveled back in time by one of his 'Roads' as he calls it..." she added with a grumble, "But apparently I'm stuck for now when he didn't bother to test this watch to that it shorted out..." She soon added, "I can use my Deck regularly but as you can see... I don't have enough cards to do a normal duel. I only have 20."
Sayer's eyes widened. "Incredible, I only wish we could implement your friends way of dueling here in New Domino but I'm afraid we can't. I could assist you in building a new deck if you'd allow me to."
Hearing that Romin blink before she nodded, "Okay, thanks." She then thought, 'This could also improve Yuga's Rush Dueling by adding regular cards to regular Duels.'
The two of them walked off at that as Sayer walked into a room filled with cards. "Feel free to take your time to fix up your deck."
Romin nodded looking over the cards while her own. Minutes later she added the last card before nodding to Sayer, "I'm ready."
Sayer nodded at that. "I'm glad to hear it."
They walked to where practice fields are at before Romin said, "Oh sorry, I never introduced myself. I'm Romin Kirishima."
"The pleasure is mine miss Kirishima." Sayer mentioned before to Romin's shock he placed a device on her head and chained her leg to the floor before taking his spot opposite her for their duel.
"What's this?" Romin asked looking over the stuff on her.
"Just a way to test your psychic abilities. Don't worry, you're perfectly safe here." Sayer reassured her. "The chain is a bit crude but if something were to happen and you were to lose control it keeps you from accidentally hurting yourself or getting thrown into a wall by mistake."
Romin couldn't help blink hearing that, 'Is he talking about Solid Vision?' Shrugging she only prepared herself where to Sayer's shock her Disk transformed into what looks like a hybrid of Guitar, and Duel Disk five zones being in place of three like it normally is as she readied with a grin.
Sayer's eyes widened. 'This young girl is full of surprises.' "After you."
Romin nodded doing a small solo, "Alright!"

Romin 1st Turn:
"Okay my go!" Romin called reaching to draw but remembers of the regular duel rules not allowing the player who goes first to draw. It was a habit but ah well she looks over her hand before calling, "Alright, first I play the spell, Enchanting Fitting Room!" She placed the card in her Spell/Trap Slot as a solo was given out while it appeared.

Pay 800 Life Points. Pick up 4 cards from the top of your Deck and Special Summon to your side of the field all Level 3 or lower Normal Monsters among the picked-up cards. Return all the other picked-up cards to your Deck and the Deck is then shuffled.
"By giving up 800 points, I can take my top four cards, and look at them," Romin explained taking her top four cards looking, (Romin: 3200/Hand: 4) "Then if any are Level 2 or lower Normal Monsters, I can summon them. But if their not their shuffled into my Deck instead."
"An interesting start." Sayer noted calmly.
Romin looked over the four before she grinned, "I got three here. Eleckiss, Elengel, and CAN:D!"
From there a small girl that has a blue ball for a body with a pink helmet shaping as pigtailed hair, red boots, and a green cape rose up winking, a angel shaping as a blue electric guitar with white wings, with blue flaming hair, and a small fairy like girl that has blue pixie wings, yellow candied shaped accessories, and wearing a small white dress rose up giggling.

"Three monsters, a powerful start." Sayer noted before pausing. "Wait, you did draw to start your turn correct?"
Romin shook her head, "The Duels here don't allow players who go first to draw a card. My friend's way forgos that."
"Your friend is mistaken, you can draw on the first turn." Sayer told her.
Romin blinked hearing that, 'That wasn't the way rules are... Maybe it was before the game advanced that far along?' Keeping that in mind she shrugged, "Knowledge for the future."
Romin looked at her hand before grinning calling, "I'll next sacrifice CAN:D, and Elengel!" The two vanished as she rose the card up while forming solos.
"Let's start Live! A complete Dive! Patience at limit - go overdrive! It's Prima Guitarna of the Colorful Light! She finally debuts!"
With that her ace descends as a female guitarist forming solos of her own with long orange hair, big purple visor like goggles, a white guitar that has gold corves on the end while she wears a white suit that has a skirt, and decorative red tie, with one red boot up to her right knee, and wearing pink gloves.

Krebons charged an attack firing it at Eleckiss which enveloped her destroying it which Romin gave a startled cry from feeling the spell's effect was real bracing herself, 'Was that real just now? Does this mean he uses Solid Vision as well...?'
"I set two cards of my own and end my turn." Sayer told her. "Now then, show me what kind of power you have."

'Not much of a start but since he doesn't Rush Duel that's understandable.' Romin thought to herself before drawing (nearly drawing 4) looking to see before saying, "I'll activate my face-down, Psychic Divergence!"

"Since I have a Psychic on the field, I can pay 500 Life Points for you to place one of your Spell or Trap Cards to the top of your Deck!" Romin stated glowing. (Romin: 2700/Hand: 2) "Put your left face-down back to your Deck!"
Sayer raised an eyebrow at that before putting the card on top of his deck.
"Then I use Telekinetic Power Wall!" Romin added.

At that a woman rose up beside Guitarna which has black bladed weapons on her gauntlet, and a black visor.

Sayer's eyes widened seeing that. "That's a large risk, are you sure it's worth it?"
Romin grinned, "Of course once you see what these two gals together can do! Prima Guitarna's effect activates!" At that Prima Guitarna started strumming her guitar forming hard rhythms that seems to energize her two monsters, "By paying 1000 points, Prima Guitarna gives all monsters on my field 300 points for every monster on your field!"

"And that allows me to use Esperaid's own ability!" Romin called as Esperaid charged energy, "Since my Life Points are 1000 or less two of your monsters are destroyed!"
Sayer's eyes widened in disbelief at that as Krebons shattered.
"And since your open you get to see what these two can do close hand." Romin grinned before strumming her guitar, "Prima Guitara start us off!"
Prima Guitarna made hard music with her guitar before attacking Sayer with Psychic Music Notes. Sayer braced himself as the attack hit.

'Talent, but no power. Still I might be able to make use of her anyway.' he thought.
"And now Esperaid!" Romin called as Esperaid charged power attacking Sayer.
Sayer closed his eyes as the attack hit.

Romin grinned from this as the field vanished while her Duel Guitar turned to it's Standby Phase, "So what do you think?"
"I'm very impressed, it's been a long time since I've been defeated in a duel and to achieve it in just two turns is remarkable." Sayer noted with a smile.
"Well trust me if we we're Rush Dueling, I am stronger then that." Romin admitted to him at that, "But besides that I think it was luck, I managed to do that since my Deck's not accustomed to Duels that aren't Rush Dueling."
"Even if that's true you possess quite a bit of talent." Sayer noted. "There's someone I think you should meet when she gets back."
Romin only grinned to him as he said that, "I can also tell you about Rush Dueling."
"I'm more than willing to listen." he smiled before walking over to take the equipment off of her.
She explains to him the rules, and mechanics how Yuga made Rush Dueling explaining it as a way to make people smile from the stern Dueling World as he called it. Sayer couldn't help but chuckle. "It certainly is an interesting way of rebelling against conventional duels."
"Yeah he really is a smart wiz... Though his 'Roads' aren't really all that successful." Romin admitted to him crossing her arms looking at her watch.
"Perhaps you're looking at it the wrong way." Sayer suggested. "If you've come from the future, it may be that the technology to send you back doesn't exist yet. You may simply be lacking the power source required to return home."
"Well he did say he needed a supply of something called 'Time/Space Energy'." Romin mentioned.
"Well, I'm not certain what he's referring to but you're more than welcome to stay here." Sayer offered calmly. "I have a small matter to attend to, but I'll be back shortly."
Romin smiled nodding, "Thank you sir."
He nodded walking off before pausing with a smirk. 'That should work, I'm sure Goodwin would lie willing to let someone help reveal them, and having a second pawn in his tournament will make my victory over him an absolute certainty.'
Later...
Romin got settled in her room sighing before opening a locket seeing a picture of her cousin, Roa with a grin, and wink, 'If only you were here Roa... You would help me what I should do here. Well for now, I should make use of my time, and know what this world can do with Rush Dueling.'
Suddenly someone knocked on her door.
"Romin, do you mind if we come in?" Sayer's voice asked.
Hearing that Romin closed the locket pocketing it, "Yes! Yes!"
The door opened as Sayer walked in along with a red-haired girl in a victorian style dress.
"Romin, this is Akiza Izinski." Sayer stated calmly.
Romin looked to her blinking, "Didn't I see you before?"
"I doubt it." Akiza mentioned before pausing. "Sayer told me you beat him in a duel?"
Romin nodded, "A bit of a luck turn but yeah."
"Luck had nothing to do with it, you're skilled." Sayer noted to her. "Which brings me to another detail. Akiza, Romin will be working with you in the coming tournament."
"Tournament?" Romin asked blinking, "What Tournament?"
"The Fortune Cup." Sayer answered handing Romin an envelope. "This is your invitation, after witnessing your talent first hand I felt it would be an insult not to allow you an opportunity to compete in the greatest competition in New Domino City."
Romin took the invite looking at it, "Hmm... Well this could also promote Yuga's Rush Duel now that I think about it. But I think something like this comes with a catch doesn't it?"
"There's no catch." Sayer assured her.
"Rush Duel?" Akiza inquired hearing that.
Romin nodded to Akiza showing Prima Guitarna, "A Special Kind of Dueling Format that my friend, Yuga Ohdo created."
Akiza's eyes widened. "Your friend created an entire dueling format, that must have taken quite a bit of time."
"Well yeah but it was hugely successful including the way with why it's created." Romin smiled to her, "To take back people's smiles from the Dueling World that has been made too serious."
Akiza just nodded hearing that before pausing. "Do you mind if I saw how it works?"
Hearing that Romin turned to Sayer if he's alright with that. He just nodded with a smile before walking out of the room.
Romin turned to Akiza before saying, "Okay here's what it's about." Her Duel Disk turned into the Duel Guitar surprising Akiza before she gestured to her zones that are 3 instead of five, "Notice the reduced zones? In Rush Duels, Players can only have 3 zones each, and four cards in their starting hand. There is no Standby Phase, or Main Phase 2 also, and you can draw a card even if it's the first turn. But there's one thing that makes Rush Duels truly unique."
"Something other than all of that?" Akiza questioned. "What?"
Romin only grinned readying two cards, "This." She summoned Eleckiss, and Eleangel before Tributing them both to summon Prima Guitarna in a single turn.
"That's impossible, unless you Special Summoned those two monsters." Akiza told her.
"Not to Rush Dueling it isn't." Romin told her with a grin, "In Rush Duels you can make as many Normal Summons as you want."
Akiza looked shocked hearing that. "Rush is the right name then."
"It gets better." Romin said before the turn ended with the opponent passing as she said with a grin, "There's another reason why it's called 'Rush Duel'." With that she drew five cards.
Akiza's eyes widened in shock seeing that. "Is the goal to end the duel as quickly as possible?"
"Well Yuga wanted Rush Duels to be really excited, and full of action that regular duels can't, and that also includes quick actions, and hard fighting which is what Rush Duels are." Romin explained.
Akiza nodded hearing that. "He sounds like an interesting young man."
"Yeah he is. He is also who brought me here with his newest Road." Romin admitted to her.
Akiza nodded calmly at that.
Ulrich362: Romin in New Domino and the Arcadia Movement... this should be interesting.
bopdog111: To any questions, no we haven't established when a true Rush Duel will happen but we will try to give it some thought.
