This is a story/poem that I thought up in high school, and I thought it fit Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom perfectly. I hope you enjoy it.
When you look at her, what do you see?
An average girl too plain to be
The smiling, crowned, homecoming queen,
Just someone in-between?
.
A girl with average hair and eyes,
With no models body size,
A girl who hurts, and sometimes cries,
An average girl who tries?
.
Do you see a smile, sincere yet plain,
The way she tries to hide the pain,
How countless questions plague her brain,
A girl who feels afraid?
.
When you look at him, what do you see?
An average guy too plain to be
The star of the high school football team,
Just someone in-between?
.
A guy with average hair and eyes,
With no athletes body size,
Imperfect skin, sometimes shy,
An average guy who tries?
.
Do you see a smile, sincere yet plain,
Or how he tries to play the game,
To fit in when he's not so brave,
To seem like he's okay?
.
When you see them, do you know
Their needs are deeper than they show?
Their worth is immeasurably more than Gold-
They just need to be told.
