A/N: I'm sorry if this is bad, I wrote this weirdly quick so let me know if I can improve it!

"I like shiny things, but I'd marry you with paper rings" The stereo played, Marinette was dancing around her room. Imagining a pink gloss gown flowing around her, entangled in the arms of a blonde haired-green eyed boy. The specific one didn't matter, they kept interchanging. One moment Adrien would be twirling her, the next Chat would be leading her into a dip. Either way, she was in her own little world. Part of the reason she didn't hear the knocks from her balcony.

"Purrincess?" He heard her screaming a song from the top of her lungs. It was adorable, but he pushed those thoughts down in favor of being faithful to his lady.

"UH HUH, THAT'S RIGHT! DARLING, YOU'RE THE ONE I WANT!" He was on the verge of cackling, but as to not disturb his princess, he sat there. Didn't want to intrude on whatever was going on there.

"I WANT TO DRIVE AWAY WITH YOU, I WANT YOUR COMPLICATIONS TOO, I WANT YOUR DREARY MONDAYS WRAP YOUR ARMS AROUND ME BABY BOY!" The song was recognized as Paper Rings, he often listened to Lover while thinking about his lady.. sometimes even a particular classmate (though he'd never admit that.)

"This seems like a private moment, maybe I should go.." His willpower was failing him. He really did want to leave, but hearing his princess singing a love song was fueling his fantasies for a week. So he stayed.

"I like shiny things, but I'd marry you with Paper Rings... uh huh... that's right.. you're the one I want." She began to sing quieter, a slight quiver in her voice, was she crying? He wanted nothing more than to comfort his Princess, but he also didn't want to intrude. Suddenly, a phone rang, she put it on speaker.

"H-hello?" Marinette was definitely tearing up, which he couldn't understand because Paper Rings always cheered him up. "Girl!" Alya's voice popped through the phone. "Were you imagining Adrien again, girl I told you to stop listening to love songs, it just upsets you!" "You know me too well.. also kind of, but there was another boy this time, and I'm just kind of dying.."

This was wayyy too much information. He couldn't let her know he was there now! She was always so secretive about her crush to him. Now the reason why was loud and clear. His face must've been bright red, he couldn't date his princess. His feelings for Ladybug were way too strong to ignore, even if he sometimes thought about her and him having a "Nice to Have a Friend" romance.

"Oooo scoop! Who is it?" Alya questioned. "Uhm, just a stray cat, NOT THAT I'M A FURRY IT JUST IS SO CUTE THAT I WANT TO MARRY IT YOU KNOW????" Her voice was screaming the last part, once she realized what it sounded like.

That was definitely him. She had fallen for both sides of him. She's in love with all of him. And now he definitely couldn't deny the feelings for her. "God she's amazing." Damn you intrusive thoughts!

"Uh. Ok girl, I understand talk to you later! By the way we need to have a sleepover to discuss me and Nino, HE GOT ME FLOWERS TODAY!!" Alya gushed. "Oh my god Alya! I know it, he's in love with you, I mean who couldn't be you're gorgeous." "Marinette. Stop. You know I can't leave Nino for you! But if you compliment me again I just might have to." Marinette chuckles, "Well we can't have that, bye Als!" "Bye Mari!"

Adrien definitely felt like he was intruding now, but he was stuck to his spot. He couldn't draw himself away from her.

"Tikki, I was picturing Chat again. I can't be in love with my kitty! This is his fault for being all soft and coming over every night... god I'm so in love."

Had he heard that right? Just as he thought a tiny voice answered, "Hehe, the holders always fall for each other Marinette, in one way or another you two are going to end up together. You're soulmates!" Yep, that was Tikki.

"So Marinette is Ladybug.

And I am Chat Noir.

And she is in love with Adrien.

And I am in love with Ladybug.

But she is in love with Chat too.

And I'm in love with Marinette as well."

His mind was about to combust, but what he had to do was leave. That was until Paper Rings started again, and he looked down the trapdoor a glowing Marinette dancing with air, her hair was down in waves. She was beautiful, the moonlight accentuating her little freckles. God he was so in love with this girl.

Slowly, he climbed down the shaft and interlocked their hands, she let out a little gasp, but her signature smirk was back. She let him lead, and they stood there in perfect harmony, dancing to every song on Lover, during ME! They separated to rock by themselves. But all other songs were met with a princess and her knight, dancing at their own little ball.

"Princess, I'll have you know you're a fantastic dancer." He complimented while twisting their arms so he could hug her from the back.

"You're not too bad yourself my 'knight in shining leather'" she mocked, but there was a hint of affection even he could've missed if it weren't for the close proximity.

"Princess, Mari, I have something to ask you.." He mentally prepared himself for rejection, but nonetheless he stayed put, just as Daylight came to an end.

"What is it?" Her eyes were lined with hope, which gave him the courage to ask,

"Will you go out with me?" His fists were in balls tied to his sides, eyes scrunched, it was cute.

She began to giggle, "First of all, why do you look like an anime girl who just confessed to her crush. Second of all of course I will you mangy cat!" She said, lifting his chin up to look at her.

"Wait.. you said yes?"

"Uh, yeah? Of course I did. I've told you I'm in love with you before haven't I? I got over that crush for a little, but it came back with a vengeance when you started coming over for 'late night cuddles' how could I not be in love with you after that?" It was so nonchalant, so obvious. He was so smitten.

"What if I told you I knew something that I didn't mean to find out and I'm so sorry?" He looked at her with kitten eyes.

"What did you find out?" Her voice quivered for a second before looking genuinely curious.

"That you're Ladybug, I'm in love with both sides of you and you and Alya are just as gushy with each other as I remember.." He spat out in one breath.

"You... you love both of me? Also you know? Also what the hell?" Her eyes were so soft he could melt.

"I came over for a daily dose of video games and croissants, and you were talking to Alya.. and then Tikki." His eyes were glimmering with tears, he wasn't sure why though.

"Oh my god. I'm so stupid! I shouldn't have been so loud about that ugh!"

Tikki came out of her hiding spot and said "Can you just reveal your identity so I don't have to deal with a moping Marinette and get to see my not-a-boyfriend-kwami?"

He looked to Marinette for reassurance "Are you okay with that?" Her eyes immediately softened from the glare she aimed at the flying bug.

"I mean, it might take a little getting used to.. but I don't see why not." She took a deep breath and waited.

"Okay... Plagg, claws in!"

In a flash of green, Adrien was in Chat's place, nervously rubbing his neck. With a hungry Plagg next to him.

"Oh Jesus not this again! All my holders always have such an emotional reveal! It's getting tiring. Oh hey sugarcube." He said with a smirk.

"Hey stinky sock, now get over here before I murder you for ruining this moment! The reveal is emotional because it's big! I always love the romance of it. This is a once in a lifetime experience! You'll have to wait another 130 years for this. So chill!" She spat, looking dangerously at her not-a-boyfriend.

"ah.. don't kill me please, spare me. Fine I'll listen to the sappy nonsense these are going through, but I won't like it!"

"Uh. So, Marinette, hey, I'm Adrien, your classmate." He tried to redirect his eyes to the pigtailed girl in front of him.

She was shellshocked, how did she get so lucky?

"You- you are. Oh holy shit. You're Adrien. You're Adrien Agreste. You are Chat, oh my god I've danced with you in the moonlight twice???" Her voice was quivering.

"Uh, yeah. I'm kinda in love with you so.."

Marinette's face went from white to a tomato in record seconds.

"Yea.. I'm in love with you too. All of you. I love Adrien for his personality, his bravery, his kindness, and his forgiveness. I love Chat for all the puns, the snark, and yes everything I said before. I love both of you so fucking much you have no idea. You're my everything, kitty. You're the reason I wake up every morning, (besides Tikki shouting wake up), you're the reason I do everything. I love you so much, you're my favorite person." Her confession ended and as she realized what she said her face went frozen and her hands flew up to cover it.

He was so smitten, he doesn't deserve her. He fell for the person inside. He didn't fall for the fake smiles or the model magazines. He fell for him. And god was he ecstatic.

"You're amazing, Marinette." His voice barely above a whisper, he took her hands off of her face and studied her, he looked at every small detail on her face. God she was amazing, the pink blush accentuated, the little freckles, the soft, pink lips, the raised eyebrows, and those eyes, god he could get lost in those eyes.

And all of a sudden, her lips were on his. He doesn't remember who began it, his brain turned off as soon as he felt the soft heaven her lips were. His stomach was full of fireworks and butterflies, and god he loved her. He kissed every word he never said, every 'she's not just a friend', anything to tell her how much he cared, and how much she is the most important person in his life.

The kiss was strong, it was deep, their mouths formed together perfectly, like they were meant to be doing this. They were meant to be. In a desperate need of air she broke the kiss, her eyes still shut, panting breaths from both of them. They looked into each other's eyes.

"So, are we dating? Cause if we're not after all that I'm throwing hands." Marinette said through deep breaths.

He chuckled at that, planting a soft kiss on her swollen lips. "We're together. And we're playing Paper Rings at our wedding."

And they did, their wedding dance was to Paper Rings, Lover played softly in the background of the reception, and she walked down the aisle to "It's Nice to Have a Friend." It's all how it's supposed to be. And Tikki and Plagg, well, he's not her "not-a-boyfriend" anymore. With all the time spent around each other, finally, after thousands of lifetimes, they were together.

And everything, was perfect.
