Hey guys, I'm really not the best at writing funny things, but I do try. I hope you enjoy this! - FandomWritingBae xx

Delucia Cavelle looked around the corner and spotted a maid hurrying by and quickly hid again. She loved playing hide and seek in the castle, it was huge and had a lot of areas and rooms to hide in. After days of complaining, she had finally managed to get her parents to take some time off their royal duties and play with her. (It had been a very busy month.) It wasn't like there were no other kids around, and she bet that if she asked the staff to play they would, but she always preferred her parents.

Her Mother was the best hider. She would crawl, duck and sprint to cover if it meant winning. She was very competitive, but somehow Delucia always managed to beat her. Delucia just knew the castle better, that was all!

Her Father, when it came to hide and seek, was terrible. Delucia and Mother always made him count because he could never find them. Because of this, Father relied on his humour to help him find his giggling daughter and howling wife. He would stomp, fall, complain, crack jokes and just be really, really funny. Delucia always ended up clutching her aching sides from laughing so much.

She saw a glimpse of red hair and heard some stomping. That was her Father! She quickly ran to hide behind the ancient suit of armour standing down the corridor.

"Aw, come on girls!" King Aurileous Cavelle groaned as he stomped down the corridor. "This isn't fair! I can't seeee you!"

Delucia let out a giggle and her Mother took the opportunity to dash out from a room and join her behind the armour. Father whipped his head around

"What was that!?" He yelped. "Don't tell me there's another dog loose in the courtyard! I thought this was the most well protected place in the world!"

She let out another giggle and her Mother clamped a hand over her mouth.

"Shhhh!" She whisper-yelled. "Your Father might hear us!"

"Don't be silly!" Delucia answered back, "Daddy won't find us! He never does!"

Mother let out a little laugh.

"I suppose you're right, dear"

Father turned around.

"What is that I hear?" He pouted. "Could it possibly be a young, intelligent little princess who I seem to have misplaced?"

It took all her restraint to stop herself from laughing again.

"I wonder if they could be….here!?" Father yelled as he threw open the door to the room Mother had just exited

"Maybe…here!?" He checked behind the hallway door. She couldn't help it. She started to laugh!

Father jogged towards the armour stand and wrapped her up in a huge bear hug.

"There she is, I found her!" He cheered, "And look, here is my wife too!"

Mother joined the hug.

"Well done, dear!" She praised.

"Thank you!" Father beamed. "For a while there I thought I had lost little missy here and would have to find another daughter, but I found you two in the end!"

Delucia giggled

"You would never replace me!" She stated

"No I wouldn't" Father smiled softly. "Not for the world!"
