Flashback
Dean clasped his little hands together like his mama taught him, kneeling next to his bed on his knees, his eyes squeezed shut in concentration.
"Dear God,You don't know me. I'm Dean. I'm 6 years old.I need your help.My mama died. And Daddy is not doing good. I have to look after Sammy a lot when Daddy goes off on his trips. I need help.I can't do this much longer, I'm scared.Amen."
End of flashback
Dean sat at a bar in a town in the middle of nowhere. Just another Tuesday night.
Sam was currently in the bathroom, taking a much needed break after hours of research on his laptop. The kid was such a nerd.
Their latest case was another poltergeist. An easy enough job.
Dean took a swig of his beer and peered around the bar. A pretty blonde gave him a sultry smirk and Dean tried his best to give it back but his heart wasn't in it.
Hadn't been for months. Ever since the dreams began.
Dean took another swig and grimaced.
"Your game is so weak, dude. That blonde is practically salivating over you right now. Seriously. Its kinda gross." Sam slid on the barstool next to Dean, his laptop in hand.
"I'm not interested right now."
Sam's head turned to look at his brother, a look of shock on his face.
"Who are you and what have you done to my brother?"
"Fuck off, Sammy." Dead grumbled, a small smile pulling at his lips nonetheless.
The dreams. The...what ever is was, Dean had no idea but it was male. That's all he knew.
He could never see the man but he felt him. It was a feeling Dean could never put his finger on. It felt so real.
"I'm going to head up to bed. You coming?"
Sam looked at Dean, a slight concerned look in his eyes.
"Yeah, let's go." Sam grabbed his laptop and shoved it in his bag. Dean shoved the crumpled notes on the countertop and walked off.
Two hours later, Dean lay on the cheap Motels single bed, Sam's snores filling the rooms quietness, that and the old rusty fan on the table in the corner.
Dean could not fall asleep. If he was honest with himself, Dean was afraid. He was afraid of who or what would be in his dreams.
It was just dreams right?
