Well, Max did it, again!
He and 99 were in front of a fountain, tailing a suspect. Clumsy Max somehow shoved against poor 99, and she fell into the water! And she was wearing a dress she paid $49.95 for (on sale at Garfinkle's)!
As she stood up, she realized something: This was not the first time he did this—not by a long shot! He was truly an "accident magnet!"
But there was something about him that made her forgive him. Perhaps it was the boyish charm he exuded. Maybe that's why she loved him.
"Er, sorry about that, 99!" he said, and he helped her out.
And despite herself, she forgave him!
