So, I was in a mood to try writing some Cangel fluff after posting a Tillow fluff fic. Next time I will post some Spuffy fluff. Oh, and few important things to mention, when Willow re-ensouled Angelus in Season 4, she made some modifications to the curse to get rid of the 'pure happiness' loophole, since don't get me started on how stupid the loophole was. I read one fic, where they altered the curse to omit the loophole while re-ensouling Angelus, so that Angel could achieve true happiness without losing his soul.
Takes place after Angel series finale and 'After the Fall' and Cordelia was returned back to life by the Powers That Be after the Senior Partners undid the Hell in L.A, as a reward to Angel.

Angel and Cordelia were having an enjoyable time as they danced together at the gala event of one of Cordelia's upper-level celebrity friends.
"You dance beautifully, Angel." Cordelia said as Angel shrugged.
"Well, I'm over 200 years old. Where did you learn waltz?" Angel asked.
"When I was a kid, I wanted to learn ballet and I knew basics of waltz." Cordelia explained.
"Then, hope you know how to spin, since we're about to do it… now." Angel said as he and Cordelia did a spin turn and luckily didn't bump into anyone as both of them laughed.
"You think Spike can handle being the champion of L.A.?" Cordelia asked as Angel glowered in jealousy and anger at the mention of Spike.
"Ah… I've been doing that longer than him. He's still learning the ropes." Angel said, showing off his immaturity, while Cordelia giggled and shook her head in amusement at Angel's immaturity.
Angel and Cordelia were later at the pier of Santa Monica, where was an amusement park, where they were on a rollercoaster ride as Cordelia screamed but Angel laughed, amused. Later, they played a high striker game, where Cordelia managed to strike the hammer, with the bar going to the half but Angel managed to ring the bell at the top of the high striker, while the vendor handed them a fluffy elephant toy as Cordelia laughed.
"Thank you." Cordelia said, kissing Angel on his cheek.
They had walked down the beach, where they decided to take some time for a nighttime swim in their underwear until they were tired and laid down on the sands of the beach, with their clothes folded next to them as they were resting, with Cordelia placing her head and hand on Angel's breast.
"I wish I could hear your heart beat." Cordelia said.
"One day you might." Angel said before they kissed.
Part of him was lost in thoughts about Buffy but he had accepted that they were not going to ever be good for each other and as much as he was reluctant to admit it, he knew that with a soul, Spike was better for her than Angel could be. With Cordelia he had been through thick and thin and whenever he was slipping, she was there to pull him back from that edge.
Angel smiled as he pulled away from her. "I was lost without you, you know that, Cordy? When… when I got the call…" He took a breath, remembering how it crushed him to find out she had been gone, when she was trying to put him on the right path again. "I didn't think… didn't believe I'd deserve…" He looked away, ashamed of the things he had done to stop the Circle of the Black Thorn and the Senior Partners before he met her eyes again. "But then you came back. It was a miracle. I don't care if it was the Powers That Be, to me you coming back is a miracle."
"Yeah… it is. Wherever we go from here… we'll face it together. Always have. Always will." Cordelia said as she rolled away to lie next to Angel as they looked up to stare at the stars in the night sky. "Even if it's beautiful up there, I wouldn't trade it for being here with you tonight." She held Angel's hand as they kissed again before embracing each other, while Angel unclipped Cordelia's bra, losing themselves in each other in the passionate night.
Why can't Angel/Cordelia or Willow/Tara get the happiness they deserve? Damn you to the deepest fiery pits of Hell, Whedon.
