It was midnight when a hooded figure snuck out of the Owl House. She climbed out of the second story window and landed quietly on the ground. She picked up a rock and threw it far enough from the Owl House that Hooty wouldn't notice her until she was too far away. She ran a good distance until she started to slow down and pulled out a Light Glyph. She removed her hood and revealed a 21 year old Luz. She pulled out her phone and looked at the time.
"I should be there within ten minutes." She said, "Only ten minutes and I can cuddle with my Babe."
A lot has changed in Luz's life since she first came to the Isles. She took down a dictator, made friends, her mom and Eda got married, she lives on the Isles full time, and her and Amity got together... and broke up a few years later. They did love each other, but the more it went on, the more they realized that they didn't see themselves spending the rest of their lives with each other. It was weird for a while, but they eventually became pretty good friends again. Amity was dating Willow now, they even got engaged. Luz made it to her partner's house and climbed up to the window. She opened it and got inside. She saw her girlfriend in bed and took her cape off. She got into bed with her and wrapped her arms around her girlfriend's waist.
"What was the point of giving you a key if you continuously come in through the window?"
"In case you wise up and start locking your window." Luz said.
"You're lucky I love you."
Luz's girlfriend held onto Luz's arm and started to go back to sleep.
"So did you hear that Willow and Amity got engaged?" Luz asked.
"Luz, can you let me sleep? Unlike some people, I have a job."
"Hey, I have a job!"
"You sell trash from the Human Realm." She said, "I don't think being a con artist qualifies as a job."
She looked back at Luz.
"So, when are you going to move in?"
"When you put an engagement ring on my finger." Luz said.
She reached over to her night stand and tossed Luz a small box.
"Here, don't say I don't give you anything."
Luz opened the box and saw a gold ring.
"I-I-is this... you want to-"
"What? Marry you? Yeah, isn't that the point of an engagement ring?"
Luz put the ring on her finger and smiled. Her girlfriend turned to face her and the two looked at each other. Luz pulled her close and gave her a small kiss.
"I love you, Three Eyes."
"And I love you too, Round Ears."
The two share a passionate kiss and the fall asleep.
"Good night, Luz."
"Good night, Boscha."
Lumity is still the main ship I make stories on, but it's nice to branch out every once and a while. I might make more of these, who knows, for now it'll just be this. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more... maybe.
