Hey! Welcome to this little oneshot. My first language isn't English so feel free to point out any spelling mistakes or grammatical errors. It's like my third story, so write reviews but please be polite! Now have fun.

1. Percy Jackson- Drowning

Percy Jackson knew it was ridiculous. He was the son of Poseidon, he couldn't drown.

But he couldn't help but to hold his breath underwater. He would press his hand against his hammering heart. He would suck in a breath, almost expecting he couldn't. But than he'd feel how his lungs got filled with air, even though it shouldn't be possible.

Everytime he went into the water he told himself that he couldn't drown. But his mind reminded him how fell into the moor. How he couldn't breath even though it was kind of water. His vision darkened and his lungs felt like they would explode anytime.

Like always Percy will shake his head. It's silly. He's a son of Poseidon, he can't drown.

He... can't drown... right?

2. Annabeth Chase- Spiders

Annabeth Chase can't help but to be angry about her fear of spiders.

Those are little things. They couldn't do anything to her, she told herself. It was her mothers fault. Just because of her anger towards Arachne because she won the competition.

But then Annabeth remembers about the spider bites when she was little. How they'd come every night and bite her. How the bites will be gone in the morning like they never were there.

Annabeth is angry because she can't do anything against her fear. It's illogical and she hates it.

After that incident with the Athena Parthenos and Tartarus Annabeth couldn't care less about a few spiders. She survided Tartarus and she had Percy.

She doesn't care about the spiders anymore... is what she told herself.

3. Thalia Grace- Highs

Thalia Grace laughed her fear straight into the face. A child of Zeus? Afraid of highs? What a shame!

Of course her heart would beat like hell when she was somewhere high. She remembered when Apollo told her to fly his carion. She had crashed down in camp.

But it's okay. She was smug about it because it's a way she could show that she isn't like her dad.

That doesn't make her fear less but more bearable. Thalia is afraid of highs and she accepts it. But that was not always so. Her fear caused her humiliation. She was embarrassed that she, a daughter of Zeus, was afraid of highs. But after Jason told her he could fly, Thalia also wanted to try.

So she did. Her heart slammed in her chest but she did it. And she could understand why Jason loved it.

Thalia Grace is afraid of highs but it's okay.

4. Leo Valdez- Fire

Leo Valdez hated fire with every inch of his beeing. Fire -his fire- killed his loved mother.

Since that day when the workshop burned and his mother with it, Leo hated fire. There's nothing fascinating on it. It's hot and it burns anything or anyone that comes too near.

Even after all the foster homes he ran away from, after all the abusive foster parents he ran away from, there was nothing he feared and hated more than fire.

After he came to Camp Halfblood he already had realised that he can control it. He had to face and live with it. He killed his mother with his fire.

Yes, Leo Valdez hated and feared fire with every inch of his beeing. Unfortunately that means he also has to hate himself.

5. Nico Di Angelo- Darkness

Nico Di Angelo, son of Hades, child of the underworld, king of ghosts, is afraid of the dark.

It's not just the darkness of the night but darkness in general. He's afraid that the shadows will consume him. That he will just dissolve into nothing. During the day there's Will. He's trying really hard to make Nico feel better, heal him and showing him that he deserves love too.

But Nico doesn't think so. He's afraid that he'll get hurt or hurt someone because he's so dark and broken inside.

Nico Di Angelo is afraid of loving someone. If he lets people get close to him, he'll just drag them into the darkness with him.

Nico Di Angelo is afraid but Will Solace is trying to show him there's nothing to be afraid of.
