10:37 a.m.
Izuku Midoriya was chatting with his boyfriend, Todoroki Shoto, and his friends, Galaxia Reyes, Iida Tenya, Denki Kaminari, and Kirishima Ejiro. The sun was out, and warmed them in the mid-November air.
However, they don't notice pink sparks appearing out in thin air. They kept laughing and joking about anything they could think of, as the sparks grew larger and larger, until they formed a massive pink portal. Kirishima noticed this, and shushed the others.
"Don't make any sudden movements."
Izuku looked at Kirishima, confused, before the portal sucked Kirishima and Galaxy in.
"KIRISHIMA-KUN! GALAXY-SAN!" Izuku shouted.
At that moment, everyone noticed the portal and readied their quirks, ready for battle. The portal just absorbed their quirks, and somehow NULLIFIED them! Todoroki was pulled into the portal, and vanished.
"The heck?! I can't get away!" Iida yelled, over the roar of the wind being sucked in, before losing traction with the ground, and being sucked into the portal, Denki close behind. Only Izuku was still standing, but his quirk wasn't working, either! Desperate, he grabbed a nearby tree, nails digging deep into the bark.
C'mon, Izuku, you can't let a stupid portal get the best of you…
His grip gave out.
Frick.
He was sucked into the portal, which closed as soon as Izuku was inside the portal.
UA Dormitories
7:42 p.m.
Bakugo Katsuki was sitting on the couch, watching TV with his friends, Uraraka Ochako, Mina Ashido, and Emily McLendon. The audio was on too high for them to notice the portal appear behind them. Emily squints a little at the reflection of the television, and notices the portal.
She taps Bakugo on the shoulder, and he glares at Emily.
"What is it, Brownie?" he hissed.
"Portal. 6 o'clock."
Bakugo's eyes widened, and he sees the reflection on the television, as well. Emily tries to earn the other two, but they ignore Emily's desperate pleas. The portal starts to suck, and several things fall to the ground, and Mina and Uraraka notice the portal. Emily is sucked in, and manages to wrestle out a horrifying scream, before she vanishes. Mina tries to use her quirk to melt down the portal, but her quirk stops working as soon as the acid touches the portal, and she's sucked into the portal, Uraraka leaping after her best friend. Bakugo was clinging to the couch, filled with a rare emotion: sheer terror. His grip started to slack, and he swore loudly, before he is sucked into the portal, which closes as soon as he vanishes.
Next chapter: Everyone who was sucked into the portal winds up in a chamber of metal, and tensions run high, as the game begins.
