Chapter 1
Heaven
Heaven. The realm where angelkind dwells, high up in the sky and away from the prying eyes of men and demons.
This holy place had existed since the beginning of time itself, created by no other than God. A place where vices nor violence exists. A paradise in few words for the holy beings that live here.
However, not even Heaven is exempt from a hierarchy. That is the main backbone of this close structured society and as such is reigned by a tight circle of archangels that usually take powers when God decides to leave on his own trips of discovery.
Safe to say, that when God leaves, Heaven gets messy.
"Hey Iruma!" An angel greeted the blue-haired angel, currently standing in a watchtower, overlooking the sea of clouds to the horizon.
Iruma who has been bored for the last six hours, turned his head back with such speed that could almost break his neck.
"Gabriel-senpai! How have you been doing?" Iruma smiled with his usual goofy expression, showing the innocence the low-rank angel had in him. His halo above his cow-lick shining brighter than before.
"Good, thank you. And you?" The archangel asked with courtesy in return.
"U-Um, the usual..." He strengthened back and pretended like he care as to what he was doing before.
"Watch duty again, eh?"
Iruma nodded.
"Yes, like the last six months since the war ended."
"Tell me about it. Everyone is still kind of shaken by it to these days but give it some decades and it will be fine again." Gabriel told him from actual experience since he had been alive longer than other angels.
Iruma sweatdropped. He already hated doing nothing here. The blue-haired continue to examine the elder angel until he noticed that he was carrying some folders with him.
"What are you carrying there, Gabriel-senpai?" Iruma said curiously, eyeing the small stack of paper in his senpai's arms.
"Just some documents..." Gabriel nervously replied.
"About?" Iruma inquired.
Gabriel decided to throw the cat out of the bag. It was the sole reason he has come to see his holy brother.
"About you."
"Wh-What!?" Iruma reeled back in.
'What did he meant with that?' He scratched his cow-lick in confusion.
"Listen, Iruma. I have come here to talk you about something." Gabriel extracted some papers and showed them to him.
"I was looking at some feedback from you from other angels." The archangel explained as Iruma read out what he had been handed.
"Uhum." Iruma nodded again, continued his reading session until the high-ranking angel decided to disclose the main topic about it to him.
"It's is below average, Iruma. I don't think you belong with the warring angels truthfully." Gabriel gave him a sad smile as Iruma stood idly, visibly shocked at being told that he was doing a poor performance in his duties.
When the teenager angel recovered from his surprise, he immediately began to plead for a second chance.
"Please, I will talk with Michael-sama. I will try my best from now on. I am finally getting a knack for this." Iruma tried to reason with him but Gabriel only shook his head in a negative sign.
"God doesn't like lying, Iruma. We both know that you aren't good at fighting like the rest of your brothers."
"How do you know?"
"Michael-senpai told me. Though he was impressed that you managed to survive off during the war. Sadly, your avoiding attack capabilities will not cut in direct combat." The archangel told him with praise but albeit it was the reality. Iruma was not warrior. At least not the traditional one.
"I-I will learn to f-figth." Iruma clasped his both hands like a prayer and bowed down his head to appeal to his brother but it was no to avail.
"I am looking after you, Iruma. I don't want you getting hurt by one of these." He raised his sword, frightening Iruma a little.
"See?"
Iruma was silent for a moment before replying.
"But then what will I do, Gabriel-senpai?" The teenager conceded in the end, raising his head to look at his brother in the face.
Gabriel smiled, patting Iruma's shoulder to cheer him up.
"Don't fret it, Iruma-kun. Before God left me in charge he accepted our proposal to inaugurate a new workforce here in Heaven. I think you would do fine there. Perhaps even better than with the warriors. Not for nothing I am the Celestial Messenger."
"Really?! What did the All-Father have in store for me?" Iruma was excited. Everything that God did was bound to be good. He could not wait to hear what grandiose idea his creator had come up with.
"You will be relocated to the Heaven Intelligence Division under Uriel's charge."
"Uriel-senpai!?" Iruma exclaimed in disbelief. He knew of Uriel's reputation and knew for a fact that he was harsh to everyone. Iruma had a feeling that the grumpy archangel disliked him. In truth, almost everyone in Heaven hated him but everyone was tight-lipped about it.
"But wh-what if I take on again in the Creation Division? They surely had vacancies there. I could come up with some cool animals and stuff." The boy stuttered in the beginning but managed to deliver his sentence well.
Once more, Gabriel shook his head in clear denial.
"Iruma... I like you but I doubt those in there will." Gabriel reminded him.
"I don't think —" Iruma was cut off before he could even finish by his superior.
"Remember what you did last time you were in there. Do dinosaurs ring any bells?" Gabriel raised an eyebrow at him, challenging him to say that it was not his fault.
Iruma fell right to it.
"That was a mistake, Gabriel-senpai. I didn't know what that button truly meant." He oustreched his arms and flap them wildly.
"The dinosaurs beg to differ though."
"Mmm." Iruma just looked at him with hopelessness and started gazing at his feet.
Gabriel grabbed his shoulder in a friendly way, successfully bringing him back from his depressive mood.
"Listen, Iruma I cannot force you to do this. It's no my place since God make the last call..."
"I know bu—"
"—but please Iruma! Is the only place left where you can work. Help me, please. I am new at this whole management thing." Gabriel exhorted him to give in.
"I-I..." Iruma began to crumble. He just couldn't refuse him when used those words like that.
"Please Iruma. Throw me a bone here. I beg of you." Gabriel gave him puppy eyes. That was the las straw for Iruma.
"I-I will... do it." The blue-haired teen threw his head down. He was just a pushover.
"Yay!" Gabriel celebrated, pumping his fist up and handing Iruma a document.
"You will start right now."
Knock knock
"Who is there?" Someone behind the door spoke in a gruff voice.
"It's me. Iruma." The happy tone of Iruma made many voices inside the building sigh in disappointment. Not like the teen noticed.
Finally, the doors opened before him and a familiar figure acknowledged him.
"Oh, it's you again." Uriel said dismissively, his eyes narrowing ever so slightly.
Iruma was far too innocent to notice the subtle contempt directed at him from the archangel before him.
"Gabriel-senpai sent me."
A tick mark appeared on the elder angel's forehead at hearing a low-ranking angel saying his senpai name like if they were equals.
"It's Gabriel-sama for you." He corrected Iruma who just blushed in embarrassment.
"What for did he send you to me?" Uriel decided to cut to the chase. He had enough work with sorting out this new organization in it's first phases.
"Here." He presented him the paper that Gabriel had bestowed upon him with the holy seal of God.
Uriel looked at the document with disbelief in his eyes.
"He changed you here." He almost screamed. That idiot Michael making him deal with this walking accident.
"Enter." No way trying to rebuff him. Everything was legit so might as well getting accustomed to Iruma and his annoying antics.
As they walked deeper inside the building Iruma noticed how all the other angels glared at him and shrink in size, not trying to stand out much.
"What will I be doing, Uriel-sama?" Iruma asked the elder angel for guidance while trying to avoid thinking about the judging gazes throw at him.
"Let's see..." Uriel scratched his chin, thinking where he could let Iruma work as far away from him and others.
"Lord Uriel, I have the new missions handouts that you requested." An angel carrying some stacks of papers presented to his current boss, ignoring the teen altogether.
"Excellent." The archangel grabbed some of them before ushering the angel away, starting to rummage for one specifically.
"So... about earlier? Uriel-sama?" Iruma played with his fingers, a little scared with the mad smile splattered on the face of the archangel who seemed to be looking for something in those documents with glee.
"Oh, Iruma. For you, I have a very special mission. One fit only for such an..." He raised a paper to his face level and sighed in satisfaction. "—astounding angel like you."
Iruma blushed once more like a tomato, feeling embarrassed by the sudden change of heart of the frightening Uriel. "Th-Thank you, senpai. No one besides God ever told me such nice compli—"
"Ok. I get it. God loves you. Stop the blabbering." Uriel returned to his normal self, raising a hand to emphasize silence. He did not like this rookie angel bragging about how God preferred him over them.
Iruma sealed his lips instantly.
"Will you do this, Iruma-kun?" The elder angel stared at him, a deviant look in his eyes.
"I am the best angel under God's command. Bring it on." Iruma enthusiastically replied, beating his fist in his heart in the signal of love to your duty.
"Safe travels, Iruma-kun." St. Peter waved the teen off from his location in the Doors of Heaven.
Word had quickly spread like fire that the Iruma was going to Earth on a mission and as such he would have to do the Fallen Angel rite to do so.
'How did I get myself into this?' Iruma asked himself when he saw the edge of Heaven. The place when once God banished the traitorous angels and cast them off from his kingdom some millennia ago.
"This isn't your first rodeo, Iruma. You have already been to the human world so you know all about it." Uriel advised him, patting him in the back to transmit him some confidence before the former chickened out. He was already close to getting rid of the teen.
"Can you remind me what will I do one more time, please?" Iruma turned to look at Uriel who looked like he had just eaten a sour lemon when he finished his request.
Uriel huffed but complied. It was the least he could do.
"Urgh! Fine. You will take the Jump." The archangel pointed at the cliff and make some motion like jumping while Iruma nodded at the instructions.
"I had all the arrangements so you will be reborn in Japan. From there on it's up to you to find a way to infiltrate the Underworld while helping as many people find their way to God's graces. Once you finish your mission, you will return to us. You owe us that much after last time."
"Japan?" Iruma asked in confusion, last time he took the jump he fell down in Medieval Europe and it was not a nice place to live.
"Yes. It's a first-world country. You will have a good life quality there." Uriel winked at him and gave him his best "You can do it. I believe in you" smile.
Iruma fell down hard on it.
"Will I be reborn in a good family?"
"Of course, Iruma. You can always trust on Uriel-senpai."
Iruma nodded and a look of determination appeared on his face.
"I am ready then."
"I will visit you when the times come." Uriel reminded him.
'If the time ever comes there is' Not like Iruma would be the wiser about it.
"Thank you, Uriel-senpahhhhh!" Iruma was thrown over the edge by Uriel, initiating the rite of fallen angels.
"Off you go." The archangel dusted his hands off, please with himself at finally taking care of that nuisance.
Cheering and applauses could be hear from all angels that have come to watch the show like a circus, all of them commenting on it.
"Good riddance."
"Finally get rid of that nuisance."
Uriel snapped his fingers and made his way back into God's realm.
"Let's go angels." All of the angels following him heed his order following him back.
It was not until they reached the gates that Uriel was finally stopped by St. Peter.
"Uriel-san?"
"Yes, St. Peter."
"Did you truly mean that? That you will be seeing that walking disaster down there." St. Peter shuddered. The simple idea of dealing with that ball of sunshine smiles sent chills down his spine.
Uriel noticed this and decided to ease some of the worries on the Saint tasked with letting the worthy people enter heaven to become angels.
"I hope not. If I am lucky, he won't find a way to enter the underworld and this place will be Iruma-free for some 80 years or so until his natural mortal passing."
"God willing." St. Peter nooded before another question popped up from him.
"Hey, but what if God gets a word of this? He is one of his favorites as crazy as it sounds." St. Peter recalled. God and Iruma were almost inseparable. It was also the main reasons all angels disliked him. He always had his attention.
"Don't worry, he will understand..." Uriel looked over the edge where some moments ago Iruma stood next to him.
"— after all, not even God has a hand in these situations."
Somewhere in the Sea of Japan
"Iruma! I am leaving this cargo to you." The captain of the ship spoke in hasty, trying to stop their hauled cargo from spilling out to the floor.
"Hai." Fourteen-year-old Iruma replied, already straining with his own boxes of fish.
It seemed like the waves and tides today were more turbulent than before.
"Don't let it fall else I will take half your payment." His boss strictly told him, leaving the storage for Iruma to care for it.
'This is worst than I imagined' Iruma had never thought that his mission on Earth would have taken this turn.
First, he was born to two idle parents that never looked after him. Iruma hated to say it but those two were completely useless. I mean who would forget their four-year-old son in a forest for two weeks while going to the gas station. That's right, just his parents though.
Now here he was, working in a tuna boat in these treacherous waters. He had to drop from school since his parents were jobless and relied on his income to survive. His life with those two had been one of a kind indeed, thanks to them he had to accept on dangerous jobs, being used as a living bait and even had a run-in with the Yakuza. He already regretted accepting the infiltration mission from Uriel.
The archangel must have forgotten to tell him how horrible his journey would be.
Then out of luck, a wave crashed into the vessel, tilting it to his left side at a dangerous angle and rocking it like a cradle madly.
The tunas in the storage room began to rain over poor Iruma, forcing him to dodge them all less he wanted to be splattered to death by the dead fish, falling on the cold steel floor.
At least until one giant tuna traced course to him.
"This is it." Iruma closed his eyes in fright, he never imagined that he would die crushed by the weight of a fish so he closed his eyes.
But the pain never came.
Opening his blue eyes, he saw as the room seemed to be stuck in time.
It was a surreal image but Iruma was an angel, he knew the cause of such unique view.
Magic
The tunas all around him were puffed out of existence same as the storage room he was standing on.
A shadowy figure appeared, taking the shape of a horned old man with a mustache in a suit. He seemed elegant.
If Iruma had to guess, by the looks of the small horns in the head of the man and the bat wings he had to be a demon and if he was here on Earth, then he must be a high-ranking noble one.
Definitely a high-ranking demon.
Ropes materialized from thin air, wrapping themselves around him and securing Iruma in their grip.
Tack!
Iruma looked down at himself where a seal was stamped on his chest. The words engraved on it giving him dread.
Sold
"Nani!?" Iruma could only gasp as a bubble encircled him, raising him from the ground.
By the looks of it, Iruma guessed that he had been sold in a bargain with the unholy but it was strange. According to the rules, the only one able to sell his soul with the devil was oneself and those that hold some kind of claim of you.
So that left only two suspects in Iruma's mind.
"—my parents!?" He closed his eyes in disappointment. It seemed that bad luck followed him dutifully wherever he went.
The demon could be heard speaking in Demonic but Iruma could only understand some words as 'Be calm' and 'Child', other from that were a completely mystery.
The demon taking him must have noticed his face of incredulity before snapping his fingers.
Snap!
"Now you can understand the demonic language."
'Oh no' Iruma could only with apprehensive, coming to terms with his early demise.
"You are now in the Underworld, Suzuki Iruma." The demon commented with a slight chuckle but saw that the human he just bought was a silent as a clam.
'Demonworld.' Iruma had never to this place, only the archangels were the ones that had ever set foot in this place. He could see the landscape changing from the bright color of the sea to dark and gritty. Almost like an entire different world from Earth.
"Your parents sold you to me. I am Sullivan." The old demon flapped his wings taking him further deep in the evil world.
'Well, might as well accept my death' The teen gazed up at the two moons shining down to him. It would be a fantastic view to take with him to the grave.
Suddenly, the outline of a castle of some kind appeared in the distance.
"What is that?" Iruma could not help but ask, this was something different that the buildings he had been accustomed to see in Heaven.
"That's my manor." Sullivan said, happy to get out a reaction from the teen.
"Wh-What are you go-going to do with me!?"
The old demon just smirked at him, leaving him to come to his own conclusions.
'This is bad!'
Underworld — Sullivan's Estate
"Want to be my grandson?" The demon kneeled before him, grabbing both the fallen angel's hands in a rare show of tenderness.
Iruma stared at him with disbelief. He was not expecting this outcome of all things.
"Say again?" The teen told him from his sitting position on the couch. His mind has stopped working a few moments before.
"I have been alone way too long. I have always dreamed to have a little grandson." Sullivan explained with a longing smile.
"Grandson?..."
"I can't stand Levy and Belial bragging about their own grandkids. I just can't!" The demon lord was by now getting more and more personal about his plan while Iruma just watched his antics with embarrassment.
"I will buy you anything and I will spoil you to no end." He grabbed Iruma and began to shake his shoulders with desperation. It was a comical scene.
"Please!? You'll be my grandson, right!?"
"B-But I was sold to you, remember? Do I have a right to decline?" Iruma spoke his thoughts aloud. It was a true argument. He had no right to decline since he was already taken in.
"I'll respect your wishes." Sullivan tearfully commented, giving him some much needed space. "You can say no if you really want to."
'This is just like that time with Gabriel and Uriel-senpai. In all my years I have never refused anyone and look what that brought me. I have to decline even if it goes against my nature as a kind angel' A sigh escaped his nose, at least the demon was kind enough to not force him to do something if he wasn't happy with it.
'U-Um, in that ca—" Iruma was about to refuse someone for once when he was beaten to the cake again. The disadvantages of thinking about trivial things too much.
"However, that's the reason I am giving my all in this request." The old man confessed kneeling once more before him.
"I-I" Once again, the angel teen was rendered speechless.
"I beg of you! Help this dying old man be happy again, Iruma-kun! Please!" Sullivan clasped his hand in front of Iruma and bowed his head down
And with those words Sullivan struck the weak spot in Iruma's armor, trapping him in the bargain.
After a few moments, Iruma answered.
"Where do I sign up?"
"Right here." Sullivan placed before him the contract and with his other hand produced a seal, inviting Iruma to grab them.
"Praise the evil one." Sullivan danced in joy, holding the contract that bonded Iruma to him as his new immediate family while Iruma was shedding anime tears while crouched down.
'How could this happen to me?'
"Well, now that we settled the hard part..." Sullivan straightened his posture and clicked his fingers.
Snap!
The whole room changed from the barely furnished room to a brand new bedroom fit for royalty.
Iruma looked flabbergasted.
"Wh-What did you do?"
"Well, you are my precious first grandson, Iruma-kun. It is your grandpa's duty to look after your needs. Food, clothing, shelter and..."
Snap!
"—education." Iruma looked down at his body to find that his human clothes were now changed to an escolar uniform.
"H-How!?"
"Just magic Iruma. Your grandpa can make many awesome things. You look perfect and adorable." Sullivan smiled, finishing with a sweet tone that sharply contested with his intimidating demonic persona.
"Also I am going to enroll you in demon school." He quickly added.
"Demonwhat?" Iruma questioned, curious about such organizations here in the Netherworld.
"I know you were forced to start working at a young age because of your parents and had to drop out from school but fear no more Iruma-kun. I already took care of the paperwork. I am your grandpa after all!"
"Grandpa...?" Iruma tasted the word. It tasted foreign to him.
"The way you say "Grandpa"! It melts this old heart." Sullivan hugged himself, crying tears of joy. It was adorable in Iruma eyes. He had never seen demons act this way on battlefields or campaigns.
"We will take a picture together on your first day, ok? There's never been a human enrolled in the school but don't stress about it. You will not be eaten as long as they don't find you are human." Sullivan advised him since he did not want his new grandson's first day at school to end in tragedy.
'I already know that. Worst I am an angel. Help me, God!' In reality, Iruma had it hard. Humans were seen as prey by demons due to their weak nature as mortals however angels were a completely different story. Demonkind despised them greatly and the feeling was mutual. He wondered what kind of torture would they inflict upon him if his secret was discovered, even by his new grandpa.
Sploosh!
While Iruma was busy contemplating the repercussions of certain situations, Sullivan capitalized and dropped a bucket of liquid all over him.
"What is this?" Iruma was surprised and started sniffing himself, finding the smell really nice.
"With this perfume, you won't smell human so relax." Sullivan declared, brushing his inner doubts away.
"U-Um you know, I am actually..."
"I am so relieved that you accepted. If you had declined..." Sullivan distanced himself away as his sweet voice began to turn darker. "I would have no choice but to eat you tonight." He finished, folding some clothes for his newest family member.
"I don't doubt it." The teen muttered, gaining the attention of his new grandfather
"Mmm. You said something?"
"Nothing!" Iruma smiled sheepishly, feigning ignorance.
"Ok. This is your room from now on."
"M-My room!?" Iruma was surprised. He was accustomed to bad things happening to him, not the other way around.
"Yes, you'll have to get up early tomorrow for school so get plenty of sleep." Sullivan started to make his way to the doors.
"That's all Iruma-kun. Sleep well." Sullivan bid farewell to his grandson for the meantime.
"B-But —" Sullivan closed the doors in Iruma's face, leaving him to fend for himself there.
'I cannot wait till tomorrow' Sullivan happiness knew no limits with this train of thoughts, walking while dancing to his quarters.
"You take your whims too far, Lord Sullivan." A voice said respectfully, bringing his master spirits back from cloud nine.
"Opera-san?" Sullivan was surprised to see his housekeeper waiting for him in the hallway. "What are you doing here at this hours?"
Sullivan knew something was going on inside his servant's head.
"You could have adopted any normal demon kid you wanted yet you chose a human. Why bother adopting a human as your heir?" The red-haired servant questioned, wanting to know the reason his master risked himself getting in trouble with the Council.
"Nothing, really. Perhaps someday you will understa—" Sullivan dodged the question.
However, before the old demon could escape away, Opera added something. Something that he clearly did not want to hear out in his abode.
"He smells different, Sullivan-sama. Before you perfumed him I have never smelled such... purity from a human before. His body odor matches almost like them." Opera said while noticing that Sullivan had gone awfully quiet.
It was not until a few moments that Sullivan answered back.
"Well, he is a good boy. I had my eye on him for a while, Opera. Now I will not be hearing words about those backward beasts in this home." Sullivan said sternly, clearly warning his retainer to watch it.
"Forgive me, Sullivan-sama." Opera bowed before him in a signal of forgiveness.
"Don't worry but remember what we have spoken here." Sullivan gave Opera a slight pat before making his way into his home.
"Tomorrow will be a new day."
"Wow, this is my room!? I never had any for fourteen years." Iruma admired his newest bedroom still disbelieving that what was happening was real.
Iruma sighed, getting closer to his brand new Demon King-sized bed.
"I just traded one hell for another." He stared at the neatly packed clothes that his new grandpa had set for him before placing them on the drawer.
He turned the light off and lay down on his bed, covering himself with the red satin sheets.
Before darkness took him in he only had one thought left.
'Maybe this is just a dream. A cruel one.' Safe to say that he could never be more wrong about something.
Dreamscape
"Iruma..." A voice called him out in the dark abyss, annoying him since he was a heavy sleeper of the likes of a rock.
"Mmm, leave me alone." Iruma brushed the voice off, turning on his side.
At least, until he felt someone slapping his head to dispel him from drowsiness.
"Get up, you sloth!" A familiar voice shouted, inciting him to raise up.
Iruma jumped out of the bed and squealed in happiness after seeing a certain grumpy angel across the room.
Uriel-sama had come to rescue him.
He jumped from the bed and hug him almost too quick for the elder angel who had a tick mark already forming in his head.
"Uriel-senpai!" Iruma cried out in happiness. Someone, at last, came to save him.
"Stop it, Iruma. Was your stay with the Warriors for waste." Uriel was annoyed but refrained from telling the teen angel that. He could be very sentimental and he did not want him to start crying now.
"S-Sorry, Uriel-sama. I am just happy to see you. Is that really you, right!?"
"Yes, it's me, Iruma. Stop stuttering already. I thought that after the hell of life that you have been leading you would have man up a little."
"Sorry again. It's good that you finally came to save me. We have to get out of here fast." Iruma cautioned him, trying to convince him to get them both out of this mess.
Strangely, the archangel was very quiet. It unnerved Iruma.
"Uriel-sama?"The blue-haired asked again, dread slowly pooling in his stomach as the realization began to dawn on him.
"I am not here to save you, Iruma." Iruma would have given him thumbs up for the honesty had he not being in a dire situation like this.
"Why!?"
"Sorry, Iruma. You are the first angel in millennias to successfully enter the Netherworld while in disguise. We can't just afford to waste this opportunity by bailing you out of here." Uriel explained as Iruma looked crestfallen.
Either way, Uriel had the perfect words to raise the teen's morale a little.
"Don't worry, Iruma. The time has come for you to be put to good use to God."
"What do you mean?" Iruma looked at him expectantly, waiting for his superior to start explaining his part in this plan.
"You fulfilled already the hardest part that is entering. Now, you will remain as a sleeper agent and await further orders from me. I have ensure that you will start regaining your powers back so you won't be defenseless from these scoundrels. Try no to blow you cover however."
"Don't worry, Uriel-sama. I will not let you down." Iruma dutifully answered, a little relieved to hear that he would be able to use magic once again. Thought he was usually insecure about his own abilities, he managed to deliver a confident show, making Uriel grin.
"Remember Iruma. This is the will of your Lord and you are his instrument. Commit your task to memory and do your job. No failures this time." Uriel sternly reminded him and Iruma saluted him with a determined expression on his cute face.
"I will, Uriel-sama." Iruma responded, standing at attention.
"Deus Vult." Uriel adopted the same position as Iruma, putting his right fist over his heart in the secret salute of angels.
"D-Deus Vult." Iruma did the same as him, showing his resolve.
Uriel grinned at him and ruffled the boy's hair once they finalized. This would mark the day that Heaven would triumph over the Underworld once and for all. Uriel just knew it.
AN: So here you go guys. My first Welcome to Demon School, Iruma fanfic.
I hope you guys like it. I am trying to use some Catholic Lore as to make this story quite alternate from the one we know. It certainly fits for Iruma to be an angel due to his personality.
I actually inspired myself from the fic "Please Don't return to Heaven, Iruma-kun" by Wrath_of_Nature in AO3 but sadly the author did not update again so I thought it would be a shame to leave such a potential storyline dead.
Either way, advice is welcome as well as reviews. Hope you enjoy it.
