It's good to see you again
Lux Cassidy is now a 21 year old college graduate and she is engaged to her high school boyfriend Jones Manger, Lux now works at the local high school as a history teacher, Jones proposed the night of her college graduation party and she said yes but she wanted to start working before she would start planning the wedding.
One night Lux was making dinner when Baze called "hey kiddo how is work going?" Lux smiled at the nickname "it was good but getting freshman to sit down and do there work is stressful," Lux could tell that Baze was distracted "Baze is everything okay?"
It was silent on the other end "Math had called and told me that Eric Daniels' wife was involved in a hit and run and sadly she didn't make it," Lux had gasped "that's terrible," shortly after that Lux hung up and googled Eric's information.
Lux has seen that he lived an hour away so she called her work and said that she wouldn't be able to make it tomorrow, she didn't know how to tell Jones that she was going to see her ex teacher.
When Jones got home Lux could tell that he was in a bad mood so she served him dinner and they ate in silence and then Jones went to bed, Lux stayed up for an hour and found Eric on Facebook and sent him a friend request and within minutes he had accepted it.
The next morning Jones left before Lux woke up so she showered and got dressed, after she had left their apartment she gassed her car and drove to Eric's house, when she got out of her car she took a deep breath and went to the door and knocked.
Lux was surprised to see Eric holding a baby "Lux what are you doing here?" Lux looked down "Baze had called me last night and told me about your wife and I'm sorry about your loss," Eric had invited her in and gave her a hug and it reminded her back when they use to date.
Lux sat next to Eric on the couch "how old is your baby?" Eric looked at the sleeping baby "her name is Darcy and she is three months old," Lux looked at Eric and he looked lost "ever since she was born Cathy would take care of her and honestly this is the first time I have been around her alone and I have no idea what to do.
Shortly after he said that Darcy started crying and Eric looked panicked so Lux got Darcy and looked at Eric "I will hold Darcy while you go and make a bottle," Eric nodded and lux held Darcy and rocked her, right when Eric got back with the bottle Darcy spit up on Lux.
Eric felt bad so he ran to his room and got an old shirt and gave it to Lux, while she was changing her shirt Eric started feeding Darcy, when Lux walked out of the bathroom and Eric turned and looked at her "that shirt looks good on you.
Once Darcy was asleep Lux helped Eric pick up around the house and then helped Eric make dinner, after being gone for several hours Lux left but told Eric that if he needed anything that he could call her and then she left and went home.
When Lux got home Jones was sitting at the table eating a sandwich "where have you been?" Lux looked at her watch "I was at work!" Jones looked at her " where did you get that shirt from?" Lux looked at Eric shirt "I spilled my coffee on my shirt so I got on from the lost and found."
Jones nodded and went back to his sandwich while Lux started cleaning the apartment and then started making dinner and then she realized that she had forgotten the sauce and the noddles so she asked Jones to get them but he had taken a nap on the couch so she left and went to the store.
Once Lux had gotten some vegetables Eric had called her and thanked her for going over and helping him with Darcy and he told her that he was going to wash her shirt and that she could get it whenever she was in his area, after they hung up Lux got the rest of the things she needed and went back to her apartment.
When Lux walked inside Jones had left so Lux put the groceries and cleaning supplies away and then got in her car and drove to Eric's house, when she got out of her car it was pouring Eric was shocked to see her "Lux what are you doing out in the rain?" he pulled Lux inside and went to get her some warm clothes.
When he came back Lux looked at him "I went to the store and when I got back Jones was gone and I didn't feel like being home alone and I got in my car and drove here," she took the clothes from him and went to the bathroom to change.
