Grimmfall: Eclipse
I do not own Grimmfall. Nor do I own Gargoyles, OK K.O or other franchises mentioned or starring in this work.

A winged silhouette stands atop the Saviour Statue, perched atop the highest point where the Emperor held his word up, inhaling and slowly stretching their arms out to the sides, their wings mimicking this motion and unfurling to their fullest size. They come down, and the figure is revealed to be Demona, in her gargoyle form.
"This wretched city…" She sighs and looked over Empire City…fully illuminated in daylight. "Has never felt so good."
She once had a clan…
"Uh…Goliath?" Lexington looks up from his computer. "You gotta see this."
The Empire City Clan gathers around as footage is transmitted to a larger screen, displaying Demona flying in broad daylight.
"No way…" Brooklyn growls. "That's impossible!"
"And yet it's happened, lad." Hudson says grimly.
A mate…
"Demona!" Goliath roars, erupting from a pile of debris in a fury.
A daughter…
"Mother, please!" Angela pleaded as Demona held Broadway by the throat, forcing him down onto his knees with one hand while the other is raised up, claws unsheathed, a shaft of sunlight slowly encroaching towards them while Angela lays pinned beneath a fallen beam, reaching out desperately.
Until she lost it all
"They were weak." A female Gargoyle clad in modern combat armour stated, clenching a hand into a fist and holding it to her front while several more similarly dressed gargoyles behind her mimic this stance. "We will not falter."
Demona sat herself upon a carved wooden throne and grinned insidiously. "I will tear their entire world down." She vows.
Loyalties are tested
"Where Demons goes, Fox has been behind her." Sebben nods to Callie Briggs, who hands a map to Melissa Hunter. "And she doesn't seem to mind leaving a mess behind her."
Foxtail roars as she sends a Gragoyle soldier flying through the air. "Where is she!?"
"Same old Fox," Melissa sighs, and then smirks as she met Sebben's gaze. "Give me her next destination. I'll run them down."
Old ties reforged
"You turned your back on Point." Fox states to Melissa as they sit across from another on a transport.
"So did Rippy when she saw what you were turning into." Melissa counters, and holds up a hand with her wedding ring exposed. "And so did you when you tried to make me choose."
Sammael greets Demons with a pleasant smile. "Long time, no see. In the fifty thousand years I've lived I have made allies, enemies…and only a few of the former have had the courage to walk away from me."
"We were never allies." Demona huffs. "Just…convenient associates."
"Then perhaps, to properly address that statement…" Sammael gathers energy into one hand. "I should just tie up a loose end here and now."
"You could." Demon shrugs. "But you didn't go through all this trouble for that."
Sammael chuckles, his bluff called. "No, I didn't." He then motioned with his head to one side where a winged figure emerges. "He did."
This figure is revealed to be a Gargoyle unlike any Demona has seen. Her eyes widen and she finds herself falling to one knee even as she struggles against this. "Who…what are you?"
"Why dearie…is that any way to greet dear old daddy?" The gargoyle bares his teeth in a grin as his eyes glow a bright red. "My children have gone so astray, but don't you worry…dad will fix everything."
Together, they face not just creatures of darkness…but creatures of night itself.
Melissa clotheslines a Gargoyle soldier flying through a nearby window. "You're welcome." She says to Fox, who then spins and flings another Gargoyle through that same window to strike a third.
"You're welcome." Fox replies just as tersely.
Goliath roars as he delivers a flying kick to Demona.
Hudson draws his sword, standing over a wounded Angela and Broadway. "Come at me then, devil!"
Demona's 'father' cackles as he hovers over the black miasma as it rises to begin blocking out the sun.
The Empire City clan clashes with Gargoyle soldiers as a black miasma spread across Grimmfall, originating from Nevernest Academy. Goliath, his clan, Melissa and Fox are left fighting off a horde of dark figures closing in around them from all sides.
Grimmfall: Eclipse
…
"You have GOT to be joking!" Charlemagne, sitting in an empty movie theatre, his lap filled with bags of snacks and an oversized concession drink, tossed popcorn at the screen. "Someone tell me this is a horrible dream!"
"What? That didn't seem bad." X the Eliminator said, seated next to him with his own pile of sugary snacks.
"Yeah, it actually looked interesting." Control Freak, seated opposite from X at Charlemagne's side, pulled out his phone and began scrolling. "I think I might even uh…start looking at this Grimmfall Eclipse merchandise that's coming out. Not at all contrived."
Suddenly his phone was ripped out of his hand by Charlemagne and thrown at the screen as he shot to his feet, spilling everything on the floor and into the next row down. "This is an outrage!" He shook his fist. "The same mastermind behind the dumpster fire that was Ragnarok is working on a movie?! A movie?! There is no Glob and there is no justice in the multiverse! Stan Almighty, please put me out of my misery!" He fell to his knees with a groan.
Slowly, X reached out and patted his shoulder. "Uh…there there?"
"That was my favourite phone." Control Freak sniffled. "Well…see you in the prologue, folks."
