Alfred or America burst into the meeting room. He was more than 30 minutes late and that was late even for him. He looked panicked and stressed. His hair was ruffled as if he ran his hand through it a lot. "Mattie, I lost Texas!"
They all stared at him for a few seconds before Arthur or England said, "You're wearing your glasses, idiot."
Before Alfred could respond Germany or Ludwig butted in and said, "Go sit down, you're late and we already started."
Alfred ignored Ludwig and said with panic in his voice "Mattie, I need your help. I know I have my glasses on, I wouldn't be able to see straight otherwise, I lost the other Texas!"
Matthew or Canada looked confused at Alfred. You could almost see the cogs in his head turning as he tried thinking of who Alfred meant by the other Texas. Then his eyes widened. "You lost Texas! How do you lose a kid!? Especially one as loud as Texas!"
"I don't know, I looked away for one second and he was gone! I looked everywhere in the house and he was gone. I don't know what to do Mattie this never happened before. Oh gosh, how did I lose a kid."
Matthew somehow remained calm. He stood up, walked to Alfred and gave him a one-armed side hug. "Calm down, I'm sure that he's still there. Maybe you just didn't search good enough in your panic. I'll help you search."
And with that, they walked out the door. Everyone else, except for Germany, looked confused. Ludwig was angry that he had already lost control of the meeting after 30 minutes. That was a new record.
Alfred and Matthew managed to find Texas and left him in the care of his older siblings. When they returned to the meeting, they heard chaos. They opened the double door, one door each, just enough so that they could look in and saw total destruction and chaos.
As one they slowly closed the door so they wouldn't be noticed, walked back a bit and then speed-walked back to their cars. If the meeting was that chaotic, it wouldn't be productive. No matter what Germany tried, it was too far gone.
They just went back to Alfred's house and hung out with the states. When asked why they were back so early by the states, they refused to answer and just said, "You don't need or want to know. Trust us."
