Pairing: Rook x Romin tension.
Summary:
Kirishima Romin angsts and vents about Kamijo "Rook" Tatsuhisa.
Why did every boy she know have ZERO naming sense?
Yuga's Roads had names that were either long, wholly descriptive, decided upon by Rook, or a mix of the three.
"Roa and Getta and Ushiro" was the best team name Roa could come up with for the Goha Rush Duel Team Battle Royal, not too different from his original pitch – "Roa and Romin" – for their band name.
And Rook's team name for them…
It was so tacky and conceited, she felt she'd have to shower if she said or repeated it.
All Rook can do is gripe about YugaNail with R's unfair edge and Yuga's perceived betrayal.
Although Romin was as surprised as any of them that Yuga thought to invite Nail to be a part of his new team, the power gap was kind of on her since she first suggested Roa and Yuga form a duo.
Rook, meanwhile, was on another one of his "traitor" rants, and Romin was very tempted to call Tiger to scare him down from his not-so-proverbial pedestal.
Romin doesn't understand why she tolerates Rook's explosive personality.
She doesn't understand why the rhythm in her heart double-times whenever he barfs whatever's he's thinking.
He just riles her up in a way that both annoys and confuses her.
Something about the way Rook asked Yuga to be his cheer girl and banged on Yuga's knees prods Romin to shred her Duel Guitar harder as Esperaid smashes away her opponent's Life Points.
Rook was like candy: Bad for you, but you wanted a piece anyway.
