After agreeing to team up and unite their dojos, Daniel announces to the class,"If we wanna defeat cobra kai we must learn in multiple aspects and that will mean you will learn defense, inner peace, and balance from me."
Johnny hearing this butts in and tells the dojo,"And you'll learn offense from me however you won't strike first but you need to finish the fight. is that understood?!"
"yes senseis" the dojo replied
"you will come back tomorrow to begin and johnny stay after the dojo leaves i gotta tell you something"
The dojo leaves and johnny stays and sternly asks larusso,"what do you want larusso?"
"i only told this to Miyagi do and i think you should hear it from me too. The year was 1985, Mr. Miyagi didn't want me to compete for trophies as he didn't like the idea of fighting for them anyway and i got into this big argument and what did I do. I joined cobra kai, i learned to strike first and strike hard and show no mercy however the guy that trained me was extremely slimy he's a friend of kreese and he's terry silver and after I found out their plan their student mike barnes kicks my ass however, i was glad that Miyagi took me back."
"holy shit larusso you never told me you joined cobra kai at one why didn't you tell me before?" johnny told Daniel
"I'm not proud of it." Daniel told him with a bit of shame
at the cobra kai dojo*
kreese hears the door open but doesn't see his students rather one person excited to see the man
"johnny johnny long time no see huh?" silver replied
"looks like you've shown a bit of age but you're still my war buddy anyways I need help, larusso and my former student lawrence are teaming up, can you help me?" kreese asked
"you're whole life johnny you hear me anything you need I'm there for you." terry replied as he knew his old friend needed help to defeat larusso and johnny's combined dojo.
the next day at cobra kai*
"Class I'd like you to meet your new sensei he will train you as hard as i will and his name is Terry silver i expect you to treat him with the respect he deserves." kreese tells the dojo and nods to tory to meet with him in the office
"where's hawk?" kreese asked as he was waiting for an answer
"he turned his back on us and he's siding with the enemy" tory replied and kyler walked in and saw kreese there and he told him
"sensei we went to larusso's home and turns out the two of them were there and fought us and i almost got my revenge on rhea for beating me up but the guy couldn't get over me beating him up when he was at his weakest" kyler replied
"no matter it's a setback for us and i expect more from you kyler because you were beaten by someone who wasn't at their level. don't let this happen again you hear me!" kreese loudly told him.
"Yes sensei" Tory and Kyler replied.
"Dismissed come back tomorrow we begin training for the tournament." kreese told both of them
the next day*
At shawn's house robby knocks the door
"Yo robby what you're doing at my house?" Shawn replied after being released from juvie
"I came to ask you if you wanted to join me at cobra kai. My sensei is looking for someone who after we were betrayed and since you're no snitch, I felt you are needed at the dojo."
"Sure man I'll join you. I'll be there tomorrow." shawn accepted
"thanks man" robby replied as he recruited one of his juvie mates during his time.
*at the cobra kai dojo*
"A new recruit you say?" kreese intriguingly asked as he needed someone to replace hawk.
"i met him in juvie we fought but we didn't say who started the fight so he'll be loyal to us plus he puts up a fight." Robby told kreese and at that moment the door opened showing Shawn.
"just in time shawn looks like you'll be training with me." kreese replied
*At Miyagi do*
"daniel-san what do you need?" chozen asked as Daniel called him to ask about something
"hey chozen can you come to encino I'll pay for your flight i need you to help train my students and you'll be helping train them for the all valley tournament. I'll tell you the rest when I get there." Daniel asked as he was waiting a response
"sure I'll come over." chozen replied
*back at cobra kai*
"forward strike yuh ah yuh ah yuh ah yuh" tory commanded as she was helping train the class
"so class it appears that you guys need to get stronger because right now you're weaker than Miyagi do and eagle fang so you guys need to learn more of the karate i learned back at vietnam." silver said as he saw the class as weak for losing to someone who wasn't there."
"so daniel-san what else did you want to tell me?" chozen asked as he was with daniel at the larusso residence
"so chozen there's someone who runs a dojo called cobra kai and they've been a thorn in my side who have trashed my home and they broke in and fought all my students." Daniel said as chozen looked on in concern
"hey dad they're here... who is the guy you're talking to?" samantha asked as she didn't know who chozen was.
"I'll tell the class and Amanda when they get here."
As the class entered to begin training daniel began to speak
"you're wondering who the third guy is and this is chozen toguchi i met him on my trip to okinawa a while ago but before that i met him. the year was 1985 mr Miyagi needed to go back to okinawa to see his father who was sick at the time and when we got off the airport, chozen was there to greet me and Miyagi. we shook hands but he began to crush mine and when we got on the car we were taken to the warehouse. his uncle was sato who was miyagi's best friend however when mr Miyagi fell in love with Yukie, he was challenged to fight his friend to the death as sato was arranged to marry her." Daniel said as he began to talk about him and let chozen speak.
"I did some shameful things when I first met larusso in 1985, one of them was destroying his sensei's dojo and i refused to help him during a typhoon." chozen said as he decided to let daniel finish the sentence
"when I went to okinawa i met kumiko who i fell in love with. At a dance club, me and kumiko were sitting together and chozen comes to take my money from a bet i won which was breaking six pieces of ice however i got the money back punched him and got away with Kumiko. In the middle of the night, his uncle wanted to fight Miyagi but told chozen to destroy the dojo and after he left chozen held me with a spear to the neck however mr Miyagi saved me from chozen. before those moments i caught him cheating the villagers which angered him." Daniel said as chozen was about to say something
"in the o bon dance, i felt anger and a false of dishonor because he saw through me and when kumiko was going to dance, i held her at knifepoint and threatened to kill her if daniel-san didn't fight me to the death. in the end we fought to the death and he won however instead of killing me he let me live. After the fight i felt great shame. i i wanted to die but my uncle saved me, he gave me a chance to prove myself and I've been doing that since." chozen said as he looked on with hope for the future.
"woah woah you fought someone to the death?!" johnny and Amanda replied
"it's true." chozen and daniel said as they saw the shock of everyone at the dojo
Hawk, sam, and miguel were the most surprised especially hawk because he saw daniel's fighting techniques as pussy moves.
"woah mr larusso you got into a deathmatch?" hawk said as daniel nodded yes
for a few hours chozen, daniel, and johnny trained the class and miguel told the 3 sensei's,"can we rest we've been training for hours?"
"take 10 minutes." johnny asked as he wanted to tell chozen something as well as Daniel who talked first
"chozen there's a student from cobra kai i want you to know about. he's lost at the moment and doesn't know what he's doing. can you help me and johnny bring him back and his name is robby keene."
chozen told him,"i can do that."
