BUCKY POV

The Winter Soldier's eyes flew open as the chill of his cryofreeze chamber left him.

His eyes moved about quickly taken in his surroundings as it always did when ever he was reawakened. The room different the last, no surprise. The people before him dressed slightly different than he was used to, again no surprise. How long was he asleep this time.?

"I have a mission for you." A voice to his left catching his attention.

He took a single step forward and noticed how every armed man's hand quickly moved to rest on top of their guns. They couldn't see his smirk under his mask.

He turned and faced the one that spoke, standing up straighter to await his orders. It had been too long since he killed, too long since he had fought. This was what they had made him for, what he was good at.

"You're in New York now, I'll need you to help me disassemble an organization called SHIELD. I'll work on it from the inside while you kill your targets but first the city has changed since you were last here. Go. Scout and learn the streets before your real mission begins. Come back when you're done."

The Winter Soldier didn't reply, he never did. He never spoke, it's not what they wanted. So he turned and left ready to learn how the world had changed since he was last awoken. Maybe he could get into a fight while he was out. His arm needed testing anyways before his missions started. Time to stretch his muscles.
