Player character from Fallout NV/3 finds themselves on Remnant after the battle of Hoverdam, leaving himself and Legate Lainus seemingly Vaporized due to a mishap between some Transponder portal Tesla Cannon alien drone canon and mini-nuke explosion.
Upon arriving in Remnant our Lone Courier finds himself in Vacuo some years before Canon starts
Due to him having a duplicate alien beacon to mother ship Theta, travel between the worlds is seemless if a bit lengthy due to the two week travel time
Lone Courier proves himself seemingly invincible after his nigh impossible feat of survival
His main priority in the series is fixing earth and reaching out to these extra terrestrials is probably the best thing for this endeavor
Not too mention that Atlas has some pretty interesting tech
Although inferior to pre war tech atlas could help the NCR with it's more advanced armor and operable vehicles
The crew on the Zeta would be great ambassadors for this effort too considering that most of them hit the tropes and architypes of remnant pretty well
Maybe putting the think tank on the alien ship could have some interesting results
Winterized T-51 mark 4. ( Mark 2Personal upgrades for movement speed enchantments) (Mark 3 damage absorbion upgrades made using Enclave MK2 armor, adding 15 DT) (Mark 4 integrating Stealth suit MK2 compatibility for Autonomous use, with remote hacking abilities)
Potential Mark 5 (Kinetic energy absorbion and redirection passive and active)
Have Sally attend a combat school somewhere to get a look at the education system and hunter weapon construction method, since she has potentially 200 years of experience with alien engineering on her side she should have no problem learning how to make things work
As for fighting her local Samurai and Cowboy taught her a whole lot about fighting
Sally attends Sanctum and meet Pyrrha who eventually learns something is up with her youthful friend
Pyrrha snoops around and learns that Sally basically has an entire family relying on her to learn everything she can about mechashit construction, fighting, and oddly enough plant life native to Mistral
Elliot the medic would made contact with the followers and basically have a list of things they all agree would help the wasteland rebuild itself
Things go smoothly until Ozpin eventually catches wind of a the Captain leading this Campaign, what to him seems to be a Chameleon Faunus who has been spending a lot of time getting in the good graces of Major General Ironwood who is the clear runner up for General. And Jaques Schnee's Tech corporation as opposed to his Dust
How also seems to be a liaison for one Robert House
With the NCR, House(strong armed), An Eastern BOS working together the wasteland already has a strong foundation for the future, what they lack are a means to produce
An exchange of information would change that massively for Earth
However things would make a turn for the worse once Salem makes discovery of these interlopers thinking them a route to the gods
After sending a few parasite grimm back with one of crew ship members of MSZ Salem sets up shop in the commonwealth out of the way of the major powers of the wasteland
Institute eventually finds that they need help and reach out since the SS is still on Ice and they don't even realize their potential as a combatant
As conflict heats up on earth and Lyons pride and a contingent of West Coast BOS respond (the Outcasts at this point have reintegrated with West coast and the BOS has a slightly split focus after the recovery of contraversal holotape detailing how the first Maxson wanted see the recovery of pre war tech help others
The West coasts' job was to recover what tech was needed to rebuild liberty Prime while the Lyon's Pride made to help the institute keeps itself afloat. However after learning of the slavery of the synths both groups make head way to annex the institute and it's resources which gives the overall coalition more strength yet in the face of the Grimm the auraless people have an uphill battle on their hands
Our LC learns of this while meeting with Sally who at this point has managed to unlock a form of ultra instinct that allowed her to keep up the rediculous speed of hunters
The Lone Courier is proud of his younger (mentally) possibly immortal sister she had come a long way
But the problem on Earth was only getting worse
As Salem had inducted her own think tank after corrupting some Robobrains and had learned of Nuclear energy
And consequently learned of the mini nukes Liberty Prime would need to acquire his full power
It was a race against time for the LC's coalition and Salem's Grimm
And as it was besides the LC himself only Sally was a combatant capable enough to tip the scales in their favor enough to get to the bunker where Nukes where stored
Meanwhile the Enclave remnants realize the their beloved America was unburying itself as the people of the wasteland became united in a similar vein to their ancestors had been in all of their major conflicts and with their own orbital laser in conjunction with the Archimedes laser it was just enough to make headway against the near endless tide of Grimm
As Sally arrives to earth to help out in the war effort. Pyrrha gets worried that her Guardian Elliot and older Faunus Brother maybe abusing her but can't ever find any evidence of it due to never being able to actually find it
The LC through his well developed information network at this point comes across Qrow who at this point knows that there is someone on his tail and finds himself thinking that the Queen is doing her own counter surveillance on Ozpin
The LC is looking for a man who destruction seems to follow like a plague and seems to be systematically involved with Grimm appearances. Knowing that he tries his best to prevent the lose of life. So he goes not looking for a fight
A fight breaks out and the Messiahic Lord of Death makes a catastrophic scene detaining Qrow
Needing to make use his Power armor after getting slammed through enough buildings to shred his Elite Riot Gear
Everything short of a mini Nuke was needed as it seemed that even with his insane SPECIAL it seemed that Qrow was able to keep up and surpass him on many fronts
A threat that was at least worth 5 legendary Deathclaws
Still the LC was the best the wasteland had seen since the Vault Dweller and he wasn't going to use here on this planet not when his own was facing a threat he created inadvertently
After defeating Qrow the LC eventually interrogates him and after speech checking him into submition the LC meets with Ozpin for the first time
Although Ozpin had been keeping tabs he had never expected this 'Fauns' to a mutated human from another world who was now facing down a Grimm apocalypse
Not that he was staring at what amounted to being the leader of that said world
Ozpin eventually asks to see if he has Aura and finds himself surprised that the man didn't already have it unlocked as several of the perks he had were characteristics of an unlocked aura and for some a semblance
After seeing it unlocked he asks if everyone has an aura on this world
The answer being no as while it makes for a good tool to fight the dark the light can be just as suffocating when there is enough of it. The trick was finding a balance
The was curse of the gods
Finding a balance when one side knew greed while the other knew temperance
When the LC asks what that balance could be Ozpin has no answer as himself doesn't know but thinks it might be knowledge after all knowing half the battle
The LC disagrees as he knows that knowledge is what doomed his entire world and it was only his ability to talk to others to see the wisdom in his words that allowed them the opportunity to get as far as they had in the first place
It wasn't enough to just know, as knowledge without wisdom was trivia and imagination run wild
If they were to defeat Salem it likely wouldn't be through disintegrating her and her forces as s the absence of dark would only make the light blinding
Ozpin then thinks to himself that the best way to go about this maybe to follow the LC'S lead if only for awhile. Despite his advanced age it is clear that even he still has things to learn
Ozpin arranges for his inner circle to meet at this point. Consisting of Himself, General Gunmatte and Lt General Ironwood, the professor Lionheart, prospector Shadis, Glynda and Qrow.
After the reveal of Alien's being real and being Human at that it becomes obvious for Ozpin to figure out that the gains that Atlas had been seeing came from Earth
After acquaintances are made the question shifts over to what they are to do now with this while enlightening information largely useless information
As even with the reveal on what the plan is it still doesn't solve the issue of Salem only giving it something of a guild line
Meanwhile in the commonwealth the coalition finally gets their hands on the bunker and holding it is extremely taxing due to how frequently they have to use the laser systems even with MSZ stronger laser being able to change the tempo of the volley and the discovery of artillery and a chinese nuclear submarine being recovered and the captain sharing much of his knowledge and information it still isn't enough as the Grimm forces have been incubating in FEV making shapes never before seen on earth or remnant
Still an upgraded liberty Prime comes to allievate the stress placed on the coalition
With his upgraded eye beams and newly integrated abilities for cqc against things of similar size to him well as a kinetic redirection and absorbion field allowing him to repell those around him the robot eventually is able to claim the countless nukes in the cache bellow
Thus starts the Commonwealth Counter
Sally is paired with a young Knight Named Danse, local named Preston and brute named Cait. They are picked to get their aura unlocked and make their way to another base run by one Nate Maxson brother to the founder of the BOS and retrieve the cache of experimental T-60A power armors
While the retrieval itself isn't too difficult and the group are surprisingly synergetic for never having worked together it becomes clear that there are some issues between Sally and the others as they believe this to be somewhat her fault that this was happening since she actually went to remnant
However Sally was not the one to bring back the Grimm
That was one of the Alien Workers who still maintained MSZ which she still captained
So for Sally it may as well have been her
Sally had been there for the majority of the Lone Courier's time in the wastes having been apart of his second adventure. The first being his time in a virtual reality war
She had seen how he had gone from shooting everything that moved to eventually trying to prevent the lose of life even though he was in many ways death incarnt
She knew of his actions in the capital wasteland
And how even though it hurt him he still came back to help it after seeing how the west and east could help eachother
She had seen how he was when he couldn't remember his own name
She had seen how he gave to the beggar even when he had near nothing
She had seen him fall into chem addiction to fight harder to help others
She had seen him run himself ragged
She knew the story of the Lone Courier better than the storyteller
So she knew that fighting with her new companions wasn't what she needed
She had to compromise
After the coalition secured the armors Sally had promised the others that by the end of their life time they would see the world she knew when she was growing up
The others knew that she was pre-war and knew that pre-war people were hopelessly vain. But they couldn't help but feel that she would try her best to fix everything or die trying
With the Coalition now safely able to retreat after securing the residents of the local area and the newer pipboy's they were using they eventually let the commonwealth be taken by Salem as they still only had about 2 million people in their fledgling nation
2.5 million if one included the various creatures in their ranks
Vault 111 had been an area of intrigue
Although they never expected to find one Nate Maxson and his dead spouse that was what they got. After recovering the two pods as everyone else has been freezer burned and shattered and the cache of pipboy 3000's for expirmentation the Coalition made their way back to the Capital wasteland to see if they could awaken Nate
And see if they could import one Doc Mitchell from the west as they had found that Nora had potential to live
After Nate comes to he finds himself faced with a kids that looks like his son
After give or take 10 years
And figures it must be Roger's son
After learning that he is 202 years in the future the man out of time asks to see his wife after remembering she died and wants to morn for her
He was then told his wife was in surgery with a surgeon who had saved someone who suffered two shots to the head and lived after he was done so with wife would likely be fine as her brain had been frozen just right to prevent swelling from the gun shot and from the change in pressure from her head
Nate figures he has much to be thankful for since he had his wife at least and what was basically his grand nephew and possibly his son still alive and well
Meanwhile Sally finally has time to get to the business which she was on remnant in the first place. Teaching the wasteland about mechashift engineering.
Sally had concluded that for the wasteland that mechashift weapons were more a hazard than anything else due to the conditions of resources on earth. However using it for things like armor or transportation was definitely and idea worth investigating. Luckily Pre-war power armor was a good place to start as it somewhat followed similar principles however what Sally was mainly aiming for was something to the affects of self replacing armor. Should a component be damaged it could discard and replace it. That would essentially make field repairs be something that just had to be prepped prior to field use.
Soon this implementation would be able to spread from just power armor and go to combat armor as well and for the particularly resourceful anything in between.
Sally had also been able to repurpose broken security drones from the ships into various modes of transportation from bikes to trucks to tanks. Though Nate had proven to be a massive help with that, as even though he was a General he was also a combat engineer who had jury rigged numerous things into working condition while he served in the army. While much more robust they weren't completely different than a Mr. Gutsy.
Soon enough the two were even able to fix the jets over in Rivet City and reconstruct the Vertibirds over at Raven Rock. One of the Vertibirds had an odd way point marked on its map. An old airport. This airport was being used by the army to conduct training drills and had developed a giant blimp aircraft carrier that held an untold amount ammo vertibirds, T51-B and T60-A power armor.
With the way things looked that point they would have more than enough resources to launch an assault that even pre-war America would need to give pause to.
