CHAPTER 1
Tartarus
I have no idea how long I've been down here. I spend most of my time training my skills and power's. If not, I'm probably hunting down some monsters or drinking from that god's dammed river of fire to live. But forget about all that. I know your wandering why the two time saviour of Olympus is down here.
Flash back
It was three weeks after the Giant war and three weeks after me and Annabeth broke up. Even after the break up we continued being best friends. It was a late Tuesday afternoon when the seven plus Nico and Reyna were called to Olympus. We entered the throne room and bowed to the god's. It seemed we were called here so that they could reward us for the effort we put during the Giant war. The god's granted everyone's wishes and now it was my turn.
"Perseus you will not be receiving a wish," Zeus said.
"Why not?" My father asked.
"It has come to the attention of the council that your son is too powerful and continues to grow in power," Zeus said.
"So?" my father asked.
"He can try to overthrow us!" Zeus shouted.
"How dare you accuse my son of such!" my father shouted "His saved Olympus not once but twice."
"Okay," Athena said "Let's put it up for the council to vote."
"Raise your hand up if you think the sea spawn has grown too powerful and needs to be punished," Zeus said.
Zeus, Ares, Athena, Hera, Demeter and Dionysus all rose up there while others didn't. Perfect a tie; take that you paranoid piece of shit.
"A tie," my father said in relief.
"Since I'm the King my vote acts as the tie breaker," Zeus said smugly. Hold up... wait that...that's unfair.
"And where will my son be banished too," my father said in anger leaking in his voice.
"Tartarus," Zeus said. No, not that place. I still have nightmares about it.
"You are not sending my son down there!" my father screamed at Zeus "If you do, you will fight a war you've never faced before."
"Dad stop!" I shouted.
"Son," he said.
"Don't start a war because of me," I said "Promise me you won't start a war when I'm gone." After a few more pressuring my father agreed.
"At least let me talk to my son before you banish him," my father asked.
"Fine," Zeus grumbled.
My father came to me and hugged me. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you son," my said with teary eyes.
"It's okay Dad," I said while rubbing his back. "Here's one last gift before you go," my father said. He put a finger to my forehead and I felt a sudden rush of energy over come me.
"Dad what was that?" I asked astonished. "I've unlocked your full powers as a son of sea," he said "You'll be able to do awesome stuff."
"Are you done yet?" Zeus asked annoyed.
"Yes we're done," I said using the same tone of voice.
Looking behind I could see the teary eyes of my best friends. "Goodbye guys don't wait up for me," I said chuckling sadly. Before I knew I was struck by Zeus thunderbolt.
Flash back end.
And here I am moving through Tartarus not knowing where I'm heading. Something moved behind me. Before I could react I felt something really hard hit my head and I was knocked out. When I regained consciousness the first thing I was aware of was the splitting headache I had and that both my arms and feet were tied up. Who the fuck did it this time.
"Good you're finally awake," a gruff voice said "I was beginning to think I hit you to hard and killed you." I turned my head to the voice and standing there was the human torch light himself.
"Hyperion," I said in a fake cheerful vice "Why don't you cut these ropes so I can greet you." More like strangle him.
"No need for that Jackson I'm just here to drop you off," Hyperion said sounding almost cheerful.
"And where would that be," I asked. Before he could answer I finally noticed it wasn't a shadow in front of me but an abyss.
"I see you finally noticed it," Hyperion said "That is the sea of Chaos, anything that falls inside fades from existence." I may not like Tartarus but I would rather spend my entire life down here than fading from existence.
"Well I won't be visiting it anytime," I said. With ease I leapt off the ground and head butted Hyperion on his nose. Well it seems I didn't calculate properly because after I hit him I moved backwards tripped on a stone and fell into the sea that is known as Chaos.
"Well that was easy," Hyperion said as he walked away with a bleeding nose.
Sea of Chaos
I couldn't make sense of what was happening because I could literally see myself living earth as it kept on getting smaller and smaller until I couldn't see it. Darkness that's all I could see in every direction. I couldn't move and I couldn't say a single word. I have no idea how I was still breathing or how I hadn't yet exploded or something. I was looking for something and I found it in the form of a deity seated cross-legged floating right next to me and...Smiling at me.
"Hello young one," the deity said in an ancient fatherly voice. I tried to say something but nothing came out of my mouth.
"Sorry what about now," he said waving his hand over my body.
"Hello," I said unsure about what else to say,
"My name is Chaos and you're floating in me," Chaos said while spreading his arms out. Does he have any idea how that sounded?
"Yes it does sound weird when you think about it," he said.
"Wait! Did you just read my mind?" I asked.
"Yes," he answered telepathically.
"Okay could you stop that?" I asked.
"Sure," he said smiling.
"So are you here to help?" I asked with a little hope in my voice.
"Yes actually I have two options for you," Chaos said.
"Okay what are they," I asked eager to get out of here, wherever here was.
"Well one I could live you floating here, "he said spreading his arms "Or two I can make you reborn." That sounds too easy there has to be cache.
"What's the cache," I asked suspiciously.
"You will be reborn in a different world that has no similarities to yours," Chaos said. Beats floating here.
"Wait," I said "Will I still have my abilities as a son of Poseidon." I don't want to live in a new place without something to help myself.
"You will keep them and the memories of your previous life," Chaos said.
"Okay I'm ready to go," I said "So are you going to zap or maybe just teleport me there."
"Nope," he said. He then snapped his fingers and my body dissolved into nothing.
Winterfell
It was quite in Winterfell, well except from the screaming that was coming from the castle. The screams were coming from the room where Catelyn Stark has been giving birth for the past six hours.
"One last push," the midwife told Catelyn. With one last scream Catelyn pushed the baby out.
"It's a boy your grace," the midwife told Catelyn. Ned walked into the room to see his new born son.
"It's a boy," Catelyn said turning to Ned.
"What are you going to name him sweetheart," Ned said smiling at Catelyn. Catelyn looked down at her baby boy. He had dark brown hair that went beautifully with his sea green eyes. He had Catelyn's beautiful pale skin colour and you could already tell he was going to be handsome when he grows up. A name finally came to Catelyn. She looked up to Ned and smiled.
"His name will be Arthur," Catelyn said with a wide smile. Little Arthur raised his chubby fingers and grabbed one of his mothers fingers.
"I think he loves the name," Ned said with a smile.
First Fanfiction, hope you can bear with me. For everyone's notice English isn't my first language.
