Outside a bank; a bunch of bank robbers were exiting a bank with lots of sacks of cash.
"Thanks for the loot suckers." said one of the robbers.
But then a blue blur came by and knocked out the robbers before their masks were removed.
The blur went by again and the robbers had sharpie mustaches and glasses on them.
The blur then appeared on a light pole before disappearing, revealing it was Sonic and he was sitting on the pole with a tub of popcorn and a large soda in his hands.
"This is awesome." Sonic said before eating some popcorn.
Later; he saw Sanders and MacArthur were putting the bank robbers in an armored police truck.
He chuckled.
"Worth it." said Sonic.
He drank some soda before burping.
That burp was so loud it shattered every window in Toon City.
Everyone in the city became shocked.
"The hell?" said Crunch who was walking down a sidewalk.
"Did Bart Simpson use blow horns to shatter every glass in the city again?" asked Eddy who was with the shark.
Crunch shook his head.
"Nope, smells like something's been eating popcorn and drinking soda." said Crunch.
Eddy nodded.
"Right." said Eddy.
Sonic finished burping.
He then laughed.
"There we go, and no problems whatsoever." said Sonic.
But then he saw an angry mob and became shocked.
"Uh oh." said Sonic.
"Your burping destroyed my shop." said one person.
"You destroyed the glass tainted windows of my church." said another person.
"You wrecked my old timey bicycle." said a man with a dented old timey bicycle.
Eddy chuckled nervously.
"No that was me." said Eddy.
The guy looked at Eddy.
"WHY!" He shouted.
"I needed lots of money." said Eddy.
The bike man growled in anger.
"This isn't about you, it's about him." the man said before pointing to Sonic, only to see he was gone.
He became shocked.
"Where'd the hedgehog go?" said the man.
Outside Toon City; Sonic ran out of the city and all the way back to his Bygone Island shack.
He then laughed.
"There we go, privacy. Now to see what's on the news." said Sonic.
He pulled out his phone and started watching the news.
"In other news, famed hero Sonic the Hedgehog has caused lots of untold destruction to Toon City after foiling a bank robbery. The local hero has been banished from Toon City." said Tom Tucker's voice.
Sonic shook his head.
"Saw that coming." said Sonic.
Meanwhile at Toon Manor; Gwen, Duncan, Lynn Jr, Luz, CatDog, and Amity were in the living room watching the news.
"People are saying that this even will lead to the destruction of social order, but that's a bunch of bullshit." said Tom Tucker.
Duncan turned off the TV.
"Yeah right, Sonic was the reason this city is still intact." said Duncan.
Amity scoffed.
"As if, not like this whole city will just turn into a post apocalyptic like wasteland." said Amity.
"There was the time we nearly lost all our internet." said Gwen.
Amity nodded.
"Okay." said Amity.
"And when Spider Man was briefly removed from the MCU." said Lynn.
"No surprise there." said Amity.
The group walked out of the mansion.
"This whole thing will become a disaster if only one hero is gone from Toon City." said Cat.
"It'll be the destruction of social order, crime will go up ten fold, villains will run rampant, and no one will watch the Pokemon anime anymore." said Dog.
"THE APOCALYPSE IS NYE!" Luz yelled in a panic.
Amity shook her head.
"Luz, you've got lots of heroes in this city already, one missing hero won't make that much a difference. Besides, aren't you all over reacting?" said Amity.
Half a second later; all of Toon City quickly became an apocalyptic wasteland and everyone was wearing Mad Max related clothes.
Amity became shocked and saw that she was in a skin tight leather outfit.
"Welcome to the apocalypse Amity, I hope you like leather." Cat who was wearing a leather mask and jumpsuit with Dog said.
Amity is still shocked.
"What is this place?" said Amity, "Is this evolution gone mad?"
"No, this is the scenery for one of those Mad Max movies. And save that evolution gone mad joke for when pigs start flying after us." said Duncan, "Should happen in a couple of chapters when we start to look for Sonic due to nearly every villain showing up here to take advantage of one hero being missing."
Dog looked around and became shocked.
"Well someone's already doing it." said Dog.
Everyone turned to where Dog was looking and saw that Hater and his Watchdogs were causing lots more destruction.
Hater laughed.
"YES, ONE HERO IS MISSING, TIME TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS!" yelled Hater.
He ran off.
"It's starting already." said Lynn.
"Let's just hope Darkseid doesn't try to take advantage of this." said Duncan.
But then a Boom Tube portal opened up and Darkseid emerged from it.
He looked around and groaned.
"Oh god dammit, someone already beat me to it." said Darkseid.
He went back into the portal before it closed up.

Back on Bygone Island; Sonic was still in his shack watching VR Troopers.
Sonic smiled.
"Worth banishment." said Sonic.
He then turned on BeetleBorgs.
"I still can't believe Flabber looked like Elvis." He said.
He did some thinking.
"But then again the Super Sentai version of King Sphinx in human form looked like Pee Wee Herman." said Sonic.
He smiled.
"I can actually see why the Co Author likes both Rangers and Sentai." He said, "A lot of differences and there are monsters that went unused for Power Rangers."
He turned off his phone and put it on a table.
"Well, think I'll catch some sleep and get some Meh Burger tomorrow." said Sonic.
He got on his hammock.
He then fell asleep.
But then a shadowy figure was watching him.
"That's right, sleep, sleep you pesky hedgehog. You'll find yourself in a world where no one will ever reject you. But this was planned out by someone who has big plans for you." said the figure.
The figure then laughed.
He then entered the shack and tapped on the hedgehog's head before he disappeared.
The figure laughed before stepping out of the shadows, revealing it was Mxyzptlk.
He chuckled and grabbed Sonic's phone before looking at it.
"Oooh, he's got CBS All Access, and it's supposed to become Paramount Plus. Maybe I'll watch some Kenan and Kel." said Mxyzptlk.
He taped on the app and started watching Kenan and Kel.
