I never created Ben 10.

Manny scowled and tensed the minute he focused on a citadel. He turned to Helen. ''We should run into the citadel and attack D'Void,'' he said. Manny viewed Helen frowning.

''We have to be careful. D'Void is powerful even without his pet Null Guardians.''

''We got to the citadel without being attacked by the Null Guardians,'' Manny said.

''It was luck,'' Helen muttered while her frown remained.

''D'Void enslaved almost everyone in the Null Void, Helen. He controlled the Null Guardians.''

''I know, but we must have a plan,'' Helen said.

''My plan is to defeat D'Void as soon as possible.'' Manny ran before he found himself in the citadel. He ignored his surroundings.
Manny paused as soon as D'Void appeared with more than a handful of Null Guardians. He tensed. His eyes were on D'Void while the latter smiled.

''You made it to the citadel without any injuries? I'm impressed,'' D'Void said.

''You're going to be unconscious in a minute, D'Void.''

''Oh?'' D'Void muttered. He turned to a Null Guardian and scratched its back. He faced Manny again. ''We'll see what my animals have to say about that.'' D'Void continued to smile. ''You should focus on your companion instead of me.''

Confusion filled Manny's eyes. He looked back before they widened. Manny watched while a handful of Null Guardians screeched and surrounded Helen. ''Where did they come from?'' he muttered. Manny then remembered sometimes viewing Null Guardians flying far from D'Void's citadel. Checking on D'Void's slaves. Making sure they never escaped.

Manny faced D'Void prior to another scowl. He refused to imagine the Null Guardians devouring Helen. Manny ran to D'Void with raised fists. His eyes were wide again the minute D'Void caught him by the throat and lifted him. He struggled. He heard other Null Guardians while they screeched.

''Running to the enemy without considering your safety?'' D'Void asked. His eyes were on the Null Guardians again. Even when they snapped at Manny repeatedly.

The Null Guardians' fangs were the last things Helen and Manny viewed.
