Summary- Erza, Haru, and Blue Fang catch up with Natsu and the others on Galuna Island, an island that is said to be cursed. However, not everything is what it seems, as they're soon about to find out.

Ch. 1- Arriving on Galuna

"Uh... miss? You are aware that the island we're heading to is said to be cursed-"

"I don't have time for such trivial things. Just get us there, at once!"

"A-aye-aye, miss!"

Erza glared at the pig-nosed pirate captain as he nervously steered his galleon ship along the sea... heading toward Galuna Island, an island that was believed to be cursed. They say that anyone, man, woman, or even animal, would turn into a hideous demon if they ever set foot on that island. However, that didn't matter to Erza, right now.

As they sailed on, the Requip Wizard momentarily glanced behind her, seeing all the battered pirates on the deck... and that's where she found a certain Beast Wizard, sitting with her wolf companion as she hid her face in her arms. Blue Fang whimpered as he stared at her, worried for his partner as he tenderly nuzzled her head. Immediately, Erza's eyes softened as she walked over to the poor girl and sat beside her, gently placing her arm over her shoulders in an attempt at consoling her. Haru glanced up at her, revealing her bloodshot, puffy, tear-filled eyes.

The trouble started after she, Erza, and Blue Fang returned from their job.

Flashback

"He... did... WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!"

That scream, loud enough to scare away any birds within the vicinity, came from Haru, who stood in the middle of the guildhall with wide, horrified eyes at the news she had just heard.

Natsu and Happy had gone on an S-Class Quest without permission, and as if that wasn't bad enough, apparently Lucy had been dragged off with them. To make matters worse, Gray was sent after them to bring them back home, but he had yet to return, as well.

"And this happened on the night we left?!" Haru questioned.

"I'm afraid so," Makarov replied.

"We're so sorry," said Elektra.

"Those fools!" Erza shouted. "Do they have such blatant disregard for the rules?!"

"...How could he do this?" Haru whispered. "He... he promised! How could Natsu just go behind my back like that?!"

"Laxus saw Happy take an S-Class job off the board upstairs," Mirajane began as she glared up at the aforementioned Lightning Wizard, "but apparently, he did nothing to stop them!"

"Hey, it's not my fault that the pink-haired idiot doesn't wanna follow the rules," Laxus countered as he stood upstairs, looking smug as usual. "This isn't my problem. If Natsu wants to get himself, the cat, blondie, and Gray into trouble, I say let him."

"How could you be so cold?!" Elektra questioned. "You do realize that they could get themselves killed, don't you?!"

"Hey, those little punks hold us back, anyway!" Laxus countered. "I say good riddance to 'em!"

"Laxus, enough!" Mirajane shouted.

"What?!" Laxus questioned. "You know as well as I do that if you're not an S-Class Wizard and still take an S-Class without permission, there's only one punishment... and that's expulsion from the guild." He then gave them a snide smirk. "So... even if they do make it back, it doesn't mean they're outta trouble. Their asses are gonna get kicked to the curb." He then glanced over at Makarov, who glared at him. "Right, Old Man?"

Makarov begrudgingly sighed as he looked away from Laxus.

"I'm afraid so," he admitted while Haru gasped in horror, her eyes welling up with tears. The thought of her older adopted brother, not to mention Lucy, Gray, and Happy, was more than she could bear. She let out a gut-wrenching sob before she fell to her knees, prompting Mirajane to run over to her side and hold her.

"Laxus, look what you've done!" Elektra shouted.

"What?" Laxus asked, completely unsympathetic. "It's not my fault she can't handle the truth. Your brother's goin' bye-bye, Pup!"

Then, all of a sudden, he felt this odd chill... and as he looked down, he saw Mirajane giving him this almost cold, deadly glare, her icy blue eyes practically boring into him.

"Laxus... I suggest you leave before you really make me mad," she said, causing Laxus to gulp before he quickly regained his composure and sucked his teeth.

"Whatever," he said before he turned and walked away, and meanwhile, Haru just kept crying, even as Blue Fang and Mirajane kept trying to console her.

"Oh, Haru, it'll be all right," Elektra reassured as she held the Beast Wizard's hands, causing her to look her right in the face as the Magnetism Wizard dried her eyes with a pink handkerchief.

"Master, how long ago was it that Natsu left?" asked Erza.

"About 2 days ago, I believe," Makarov replied.

"Then we'll go to Hargeon, get a boat, and bring them back," Erza declared.

"R-really?" Haru asked as she looked up at her, wiping her eyes.

"Of course," Erza replied. "Let's go. If we hurry, we can still catch them!"

Haru nodded before she stood up and followed her older sister figure out while Blue Fang walked after them.

"Don't worry, Master," Erza said. "We will see to it that the troublemakers be brought home and taught a lesson."

"Good luck, Erza," Makarov replied. "You, too, Haru, Blue Fang."

With that, they headed out to bring the wayward wizards back home... and all the while, Elektra sighed as she held her hands together.

"Mavis, protect them..." she whispered.

Flashback end

"I still can't believe Natsu went behind my back the way he did," said Haru. "He promised me... and then he does this!"

"Don't worry, Haru," Erza assured. "We'll get Natsu and the others back, I swear."

"That's not what I'm worried about, Erza," Haru replied. "I'm worried what'll happen when we get back." She looked up at the Requip Wizard, sadly. "Erza... I don't want Natsu to get expelled from the guild. He's... he's the reason I joined Fairy Tail. If he leaves... I... I don't know what I'll do...!"

"I understand," Erza replied, sympathetically. "In the end... it's up to Master Makarov to decide if Natsu, Lucy, Gray, and Happy get expelled or not. For now, let's just worry about getting them home."

Haru nodded while Blue Fang licked her face, causing her to smile as she stroked his head.

"We're here!" called the pirate captain, causing the two female wizards and their wolf companion to look up and see an island waiting for them on the horizon.

"Is that it?" asked Haru.

"Yep, that's it," Erza answered. "Galuna Island, dead ahead. Get ready, Haru."

"Mm-hmm," Haru nodded before she looked up at Blue Fang, who also nodded his head in agreement.

Soon, it wasn't long before they made landfall... but as Haru looked up at the darkening sky, she gasped quietly as she noticed the purple moon up above.

"Hey, Erza?" asked Haru. "How come the moon is a different color? Do you think it has something to do with the 'curse' on this island?"

"We're not focusing on that," replied Erza, bluntly. "We're here to find Natsu, Gray, Lucy, and Happy." She pointed toward the beach. "I'll comb the beach. You search the jungle... but if you need help, just scream."

"I'll be fine as long as I have Blue Fang with me," Haru assured as she patted Blue Fang's side before she mounted up on his back. "If I find Natsu, I'll call you."

"Good luck," Erza replied before she soon split off from the Beast Wizard and headed down the beach.

"Blue Fang, let's go!" Haru commanded, and the silver wolf soon dashed off into the lush jungle, trying to track Natsu down by scent. As they searched, Haru took a moment to think about things. In all the time she knew him, she never Natsu to ever break a promise... and needless to say, it did hurt her greatly when she found out what he had done. Not only that, but to know that Happy and Gray were involved in this, as well, made her extremely worried.

She was especially worried about Lucy, having gained a close friendship in the short time she had known her. It was bad enough that Natsu, Gray, and Happy were at risk of getting expelled from the guild... but from what she heard from Natsu, being in Fairy Tail was all Lucy ever dreamed of. Haru knew it would absolutely devastate the Celestial Spirit Wizard if she were expelled as well.

As Blue Fang continued his tracking, a loud shriek suddenly pierced the air... followed by a fierce roar. Haru gasped, instantly recognized the first sound and who it belonged to.

"Happy?!" Haru called, and soon enough, the little blue cat came blitzing through the trees, flying as fast as his wings could carry him... and soon after, a gigantic blue-furred rat- which was wearing a maid outfit for some odd reason- came barreling out after him, roaring hungrily.

"HELP MEEEEEEE!" Happy cried as he flew as fast as he could, barely managing to escape the giant rodent's jaws as they snapped at him from behind. Without any prompting, Blue Fang lunged at the rat and bit her nose, causing her to screech in pain as she felt his sharp fangs pierce into her muzzle. Haru then put her thumb and index finger in her mouth before she blew a sharp whistle, prompting Blue Fang to jump off. The rat growled and shook her head before she turned and ran off, disappearing into the underbrush.

"Phew!" Happy sighed in relief as he hid behind Haru's leg. "Thanks a lot, Haru! I thought I was a... go... ner..." He trailed off as soon as he noticed the glare in the Beast Wizard's eyes, causing him to gulp nervously. "Uh-oh...!"

Before he could get far, Haru grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and hoisted him up off the ground, completely paralyzing him as she gave him a sweet... yet very sinister-looking smile.

"...Happy?" she asked. "Where's my idiot big brother?"

All the cat could do was give a fearful grin as he chuckled nervously.
