South Island a lush and green large island on the planet of Mobius, where the dominant race were multicoloured anthropomorphic animals known as Mobians. The largest settlement on Mobius was the large capital city of Mobotropolis which was home to the Royal Family of Acorn who ruled the island in their palace with dignity, honour and fairness to their citizens. Coming towards the palace was a larger than the other Mobians brown colored owl with gold armor plates around her chest. In her wings she was carrying a 2 year old yellow furred Mobian with two tails.

She was Longclaw who was the last of an ancient order of warrior owls but had retired and put her days of fighting long behind her. Then as she approached the door zipping to her at great speed in a blue blur was an 8 year old blue furred Mobian hedgehog with red and white sneakers carrying a bag. The hedgehog was named Sonic and the fox was named Tails and they were her adopted children.

Sonic's parents had come to her while deathly ill and the mother pregnant, they only wished that she help get their child born healthy. She offered her medicine and used a great power at her disposal infusing it with the medicine and helped deliver the child as the mother passed away in childbirth. The newly born orphan was born with great speed and she took him in naming him Sonic. Tails was found 2 years ago on a boat, abandoned by its parents presumably for his two tails and Longclaw took him in with Sonic happily accepting his new brother.

The guards bowed and let them in.

In a rush to green them was a smiling 8 year old red haired and brown furred Mobian chipmunk in a golden headband and light blue dress, this was Princess Sally Acorn who was a friend of Sonic since they were young. Longclaw gave Tails to a nanny as Sally cooed at the sight of the laughing Tails. "He is the most adorable thing!" Sally said with a big smile.

"His big bro is way past cool though!" Sonic said with a big grin and showing off in a big pose as Sally rolled her eyes at him with her arms crossed.

"Way past dorky you mean!" Sally retorted as Sonic stuck his tongue out at her.

"Like you are cool with your fancy head jewellery, though I bet one would look good on my head!" Sonic replied as Sally glared at him.

Then came in laughing was a brown furred Mobian man in a dark blue royal jacket, a moustache and a crown with glowing green gems on it while carrying a sword with a golden hilt. He was King Max Acorn, Sally's father and the King of South Island. "You think that you look cool wearing a crown Sonic my dear boy? How about when you're both old enough you two can marry and wear mine?" King Max asked as both kids had their mouths wide open with him laughing.

Longclaw had Sonic give the bag to her and said "why don't you and Tails go play with Sally, Sally's dad and I have important stuff to discuss." Sonic nodded as the nanny went to show them to the play room carrying Tails and then Sonic tagged Sally on the shoulder and then began running around the corridor as Sally chased him with them laughing.

"You know that you, Sonic and Tails are always welcome to come and live with us in the palace Longclaw." King Max told Longclaw as they bowed to eachother but Longclaw shook her head.

"I don't think the palace could stand Sonic and Sally playing about here all the time and besides I think my boys are happy enough in our treehouses." Longclaw said as they suddenly looked serious to eachother. "I have them and before we go any further, are we certain that this is the only way?" Longclaw asked as King Max looked down.

"I went into the Source of All and looked through all possible futures, us getting involved in the Great War only makes things worse with the Emeralds at their disposal. We stay here on Mobius and eventually a side finds us and forces us into the war to get the Emeralds and things get worse. Bringing the whole of South Island away from Mobius is the only way, things will work out and the sides of the war gets together and eventually signs an agreement to end the War. " King Max replied softly.

Outside the island the whole of Mobius had broke out in a world war with disagreements turning into big blow outs and war was declared with warlords taking advantage trying to take over. It was a terrible war with it hard to tell who was on what side and there were kingdoms doing their best to stay out of it and King Max had made sure to hide how terrible things had gotten from his subjects.

"The world we are going to are not as advanced as Mobius and may not be too keen on us so it would be best to stay hidden there until the time is right to reveal ourselves to the planet's inhabitants." Longclaw told him as King Max ordered his guards to clear the area and that until he says otherwise; he and Longclaw are not to be disturbed.

The guards carried out the orders and they looked out the window and saw it was a cloudy day and perfect weather conditions to cover what was to happen. Longclaw brought out from the bag glowing multi colored emeralds of dark blue, light blue, silver, green, red, yellow and purple. They were the last 7 Chaos Emeralds which harnessed great power of Chaos energy.

"I feel the weight of Mobius when I have to make decision wearing this crown..." King Max muttered as he readied himself and focused with the Sword of Acorns in his hands and the Crown of Acorns on his head which were artefacts passed through the royal family and crafted from the Source of All. "Chaos Control!" he shouted with the Crown, Sword and Emeralds all glowing as he focused and the entire island disappeared and was teleported through the universe and was now in the ocean of Planet Earth.

Only King Max and Longclaw knew that this had been done and the repercussions would be felt years later...

Sorry for keep doing this but this is another attempt at an Ultimate styled Sonic the Hedgehog reboot with inspiration from the Sonic comics (Archie, IDW & Fleetway), cartoons and the movie. The pairing will be Sonic X Sally and sorry to any and all Amy fans but I do not plan on using her.
