Javi excitedly ran to his secret spot in Greenly Woods, he couldn't wait to play his brand new keytar, part of him wanted to play it in the park as he was desperate to play it, but he knew that his dad made his patrols in the park around this time and it wasn't worth the risk of him finding out.
Sitting down on a nearby stump, he carefully placed the box on the ground and carefully took out his new keytar. He carefully ran his hands over the instrument, admiring all the features he had and couldn't wait to try them out. He carefully hit a few notes to start to get the feel of the instrument before getting more confident and played more. He closed his eyes and allowed himself to get lost to the rhythm of the beat and let his fingers fly across the keys. He was so lost in his music that he almost missed ground beginning to shake. He immediately stopped playing and glanced around, the trees seemed to be fine so it couldn't be an earthquake. Not that they got any in pine ridge.
Suddenly he felt something warm in his pocket and he pulled out his Dino key which was glowing. Then the ground in front of him burst open and he stumbled back in shock, worried it might be a Sporix beast or void knight. Luckily it was neither of them and instead, he found himself staring at a black Stego Zord who was looking at him with its head tilted. Javi took the time to admire how amazing his Zord looked. Then again, all their Zords looked amazing, but they usually only got a quick glance at them as they were only seen when they had a Megazord battle. As he continued to stare at the Zord in shock, it let out a small roar, almost as if it was apologising for startling him.
"that's ok" he found himself saying as he carefully stood up "you didn't mean to scare me" the Zord let out another quiet roar and stared at him "is…is it ok if I touch you?" he asked and to his delight, the Zord seemed to nod and he carefully stepped forward and patted the small horn it had on its nose. He was expecting the Zord to feel cold as it looked like it was made of metal, but to his surprise, the Zord felt warm to his touch. It made a happy sound and gently pushed itself against him, almost making him lose his balance in the process. "You're a playful one aren't you?" he laughed and continued to pet the Zord, to its delight.
Javi was amazed, when the others had gotten their Zords, it was in the middle of a battle and they always went away as soon as the battle was over. He was kind of glad that he had managed to find his Zord while not in battle. He couldn't wait to tell Izzy and the others about this….Javi's eyebrows suddenly went up. He had to tell the others he found his Zord! Or was it…it found him? either way, he had to tell them. Taking the hand that was petting his Zord (to its disappointment) he quickly contacted the base. "Hey guys, you would not believe what just happened…"
I like episode 7 as it was a Javi focused episode and he's my favourite so far. But I didn't like how he went to the park to try out his new keytar. Like, I know it's meant for the plot and whatnot, but Javi wouldn't play in the park when he knows that his dad will be on patrol there.
