Everyone was busy in completing the file work, when Tarika enters the bureau with Shreya. Seeing her all stood up and went near her. Tarika greets ACP sir and all other officers.
ACP sir : Tarika... ab kaisi ho tum?
Tarika : sir ab mai bilkul theek hu.
ACP sir : thank you very much Tarika, tumne bahut bahaduri dikhayi or help ki hamari iss case mein, isiliye ye case jldi solve ho gya.
Tarika ( looking towards Abhijeet and smilingly said) : sir mai bhi to Cid ka hissa hu na. Agar aap log jaan ki baazi lga sakte hai to mai kyun nahi.
Abhijeet smiled sweetly at her answer and said "thank you", at which she nodded her head and smiled.
ACP sir : Tarika ab tumhe ghr jaa kr aaram krna chahiye, zyada exertion tumhari health k liye theek nhi hai.
At the same time Dr. Salunkhe enters,
Salunkhe : Haan bacche ab to sbse mil li na tum, ab ghar ja ke rest kro.
Tarika : jii sir.
Once again she looked at Abhijeet, smiled and left with Shreya.
Everyone get back to their work.
Dr salunkhe : boss last case ki forensic file hai isme tumhare signature chahiye.
ACP sir signed and gave the file to Dr salunkhe and as he turned to leave, he saw DCP Chitrole entering the bureau. All turned their attention towards him and stood from their seats and wished him good evening.
DCP sir after looking around turned his teasing gaze towards Abhijeet with : waise manna pdega Abhijeet tumhari kismat bahut acchi hai, unlike your memory. Yadasht to tumhari pta nhi kab chali jaye. Or jab tum faste ho tab to sab kuch hi bhool jate ho, hainaaa... ( ACP sir and Daya closed their fists tightly to control their anger, while DCP sir continued...) Iss baar laga nhi tha ki bach paoge pr phir se bacha liya tumhari kismat ne tumhe. Waise ab jb case solve ho gya to tumhari yadasht bhi wapis aa hi gyi hogi, sahi keh raha hu na mai.
After hearing his taunts, everyone got angry. Abhijeet took deep breaths to control his emotions while Daya lost his temper completely.
Daya (with full rage) : Sir aap Abhijeet ke bare me aisa kaise bol sakte hai. Uski bimari ka mazak udane ka koi haq nhi hai aapko. Mai janta hu aapko vo pasand nhi hai pr insaniyat naam ki bhi koi cheez hoti hai. Aapko bhale hi usme kitni khamiya dikhe lekin Abhijeet bahut hi kaabil officer hai ye baat poora desh janta hai.
DCP sir said, while smirking : Acchhaaa , tbhi tumhare ACP ne uski kaabiliyat pr sawal uthaya tha. Jb tumhare apne ACP ko uss pr bharosa nhi tha to tum mujhe kya suna rahe ho. Iss baar Pradyuman ne accept to kiya ki Abhijeet ko team me shaamil krke isne galati ki.
Listening his words ACP sir downed his head. He recalled his harsh words he said to Abhijeet. When his son wanted his support, he blamed him instead of helping him.
Before Daya could say something to DCP sir, Abhijeet strongly said : you are mistaken sir, Senior officers of head quarters recruited me on the basis of my work performance and abilities despite knowing that I've a problem of memory loss, isliye agar aapko iss pr koi vishesh tippadi ( special comment) krni ho to please unke saamne kriyega. (Taking deep breath ) Aur aap ye baat bhi samjh hi gye honge ki mai kisi ki sifarish se CID me shaamil nhi hua tha. I hope all your doubts have cleared now. Excuse me please.
Saying this Abhijeet left the bureau followed by DCP, who never imagined that Abhijeet would speak to him like that. There was total silence in the bureau because everyone understood the meaning behind his words, while ACP sir and Salunkhe were in deep guilt.
ACP sir silently moved towards his cabin. Dr. Salunkhe went behind him, to comfort and support him cuz he know he's feeling guilty for his acts.
ACP sir sat on the sofa present in his cabin, tears were continuously flowing from his eyes. Salunkhe sat beside him and put his hand on ACP sir's shoulder.
ACP sir ( in teary voice) : I broke my son's heart Salunke, I broke his heart. Bahut bura pita hu yr mai. Jab mere bete ko meri sabse zyada zaroorat thi tb maine uska saath nahi diya, ulta usey blame kiya, humiliate kiya or us pr shak kiya. Pta hai sab ko uss pr bharosa tha yaha tk ki jo naye officers aaye hai unhe bhi poora yakeen tha pr maine zara sa bhi yakeen nhi kiya uss pr. Sirf mushkilein badhata gaya mai uski. Uski koi baat sunne ko tyar tk nhi tha mai. Usne kitni minnatein ki pr ek nhi suni maine uski. Uski yadasht ki problem to shuru se thi, uss pr bhi sawal utha diya maine. Ye tk bol diya ki vo natak kr rha h ( closed his eyes tightly ), bahut thes pahuchayi hai maine uske dil ko. Usse maafi maangne ka haq bhi kho chuka hu yr mai. Saying this he hide his face in palms and burst out in tears.
Salunkhe (sadly) : Pradyuman sambhal yr khud ko. Mai khud bahut sharminda hu yr. Dekh jo galat kiya vo to nahi badal sakte pr uska dard ko baat sakte hai na. Galti ki hai maafi bhi maangni pdegi, ab chahe vo maaf kre ya saza de humein.
ACP sir ( wiping his tears ) : Sahi keh rha hai yr tu, maafi to maangni hi pdegi. Iss baar bacche ka dil bahut dukhaya hai. Jo saza dega vo manzur hai mujhe. Apne bete ko mai khud se dur nhi jane dunga. Chal uske paas chalte hai vo iss waqt terrace pe hoga, shaam ke waqt vo aksar jata hai waha pr.
While Abhijeet was standing on the building's terrace looking at the vast sky. Whenever he takes break in the evening he come here and looks towards the sky and close his eyes and took deep breathes as it soothes his heart and soul. Today again he came here to find solace but his mind is full of some unanswered questions. He looks towards the sky as if asking those questions to the god, but closes his eyes and sighs. He tried to compose himself but failed.
Abhijeet (looking towards the sky and with teary voice) : Kaha hai Maa aap? Kyun mujhe aise chhod ke chali gyi? Bahut akela mehsus krta hu Maa mai. Bahut yaad aati hai aapki mujhe. Har baar mere saath hi kyun hota hai Maa ye? Har baar mujhe hi kyu khud ko saabit krna pdta hai? Koi mera yakeen kyun nhi krta? Kyun sab sochte hai mai natak kr rha hu? Aap to sab janti hai na Maa, mujhe agar sab yaad hota to mai musibat me phasta hi nahi. Mujhe sach me kuch yaad nahi aa rha tha Maa. Aap hoti to aap yakeen krti na mera. Mai thak gaya hu Maa sabse ladte ladte. Bahut akela ho gya hu. Mujhe apne anchal me chupa lo na Maa or in sab dukh, dard, takleef se dur le jao. I miss you Maa, I miss you so much. [ Tears were continuously flowing from his eyes ]
ACP and Salunkhe reached there and heard last few lines and felt more guilty. But they didn't want to show Abhijeet that they heard him so they thought to pretend that they came there just now and opened the terrace door with loud noise. Hearing the opening of door Abhijeet immediately wiped his tears and composed himself. As he turned to leave, he spot Old duo standing in front of him. Without wasting any minute ACP sir started apologising, he didn't want to waste any minute as he knew his son is in deep pain because of him.
ACP sir (sobbing) : Janta hu ki tum mujhse baat nhi krna chahte hoge ya shayad mujhe dekh ke tumhe bahut gussa aata hoga. Aana bhi chahiye, kaam hi aisa kiya hai maine. Mere shabdon se, meri harkaton se tumhe kitni chot pahuchi hogi ye to mai soch bhi nhi sakta. Tumhe beta kaha pr jb usi bete pr musibat aayi to uska saath hi nhi diya, ulta tumhe blame kiya, jalil kiya or bharosa hi nhi kiya tumhara. Gunehgaar hu mai tumhara, shayad maafi maangne layak bhi nhi hu pr phir bhi ( folds his hands ) ho sake to mujhe maaf kr dena. Tum jo saza doge mujhe manzur hai beta, please mujhe maaf kr do.
Dr. Salunkhe (emotionally) : Humse bahut badi galti ho gyi Abhijeet. Humne tumse zyada sabooto pe vishvas kiya. Maine to Tarika ki halat ka zimmedar bhi tumhe hi thehraya, ye jante hue bhi ki tum kabhi uske saath kuch bura nhi hone doge. Tumse jitna bhi maafi maange kam hai shayad. Humne jo kiya vo maafi ke kabil nhi hai pr phir bhi ho sake to maaf kr dena beta humein.
After hearing their apology, all their accusations and taunts got replayed in his mind. He wiped his tears and said : Aap logo ko maafi maangne ki zaroorat nahi hai sir, jo hua usey bhool jayiye. Aap log apni duty kr rahe the. Humein neeche chlna chahiye bahut kaam pending pada hai.
Saying this he began to go from there, as he reached near the door ACP sir called him, " Abhi ". Abhijeet immediately stopped listening this. He closed his eyes tightly and let his tears fall.
ACP sir : Humein maaf krna tumhare liye aasan nhi hoga, jo chahe vo saza de do pr aise muh mod ke mat jao. I know iss baar maine bahut hurt kiya hai tumhe. Duty ke aage kuch dekh hi nahi pata hu mai, sab bhool jata hu, sare rishte naate, shayd isiliye hamesha akela reh jata hun. Tumhe beta kaha pr pita ka farz to nibha hi nhi paya. Tum pr bharosa tk nhi kiya maine. Beta jo saza doge vo manzur hogi pr mujhse dur mat jao please. He said pleadingly.
Abhijeet (in teary voice ) : Sir aapko mera chup rehna itna chubh raha hai, mera aapse dur jana aap seh nhi sakte, pr sir kya fayda in rishton ka, iss apnapan ka jaha bharosa to hai hi nahi. Mai janta hu duty kya hai aapke liye in fact mai khud kabhi nahi chahta ki aap mere liye rules tode pr sir bharose ki umeed to kar sakta hu na. ( Taking deep breathes and wiping his tears ) Sach kahu to aapse naaraz nahi hu bas hurt hu. Aapko sach me lga ki mai natak kr raha tha sir. Mai kya karu aisa jisse aapko mujh pr bharosa ho jaye.
ACP walk towards Abhijeet and hold both his hands and said : Nahi beta, bharosa to ab mujhe dilana hai tumhe ki mai phir aisa kabhi nahi krunga. Please apne pita ki akhiri galti samjh ke maaf kr do. Tum btao mai aisa kya kru jisse tumhari naraazgi dur kar saku.
Abhijeet : Theek hai, mai ek shart pe aap logo ko maaf krunga. Aapko ye wada krna hoga ki aap mera saath kabhi nahi chhodenge.
They both nodded their head positively.
ACP sir (sobbing) : Na kabhi tumhara haath chhodunga or na hi kabhi tumahara saath.
Abhijeet ( emotionally ) : Pata hai sir, aapka saath or vishwas ho na to mai koi bhi jung lad sakta hu. Aap nahi hote to bahut akela ho jata hu. Mujhe bahut zaroorat hai sir aapki, aapke guidance ki or sabse zyada aapke pyaar ki.
ACP sir hugged him tightly and let Abhijeet cry on his shoulder. Dr. Salunkhe wiped his tears, he was so happy to see both of them together again. He prayed to God, to keep this father- son duo together always.
Once Abhijeet calm down, ACP sir cupped his face, wiped his tears and kissed on his forehead and said, " I'm always there for you baccha." Abhijeet smiled cutely at this and asked in childish manner "pkka na?"
ACP sir chuckled at his behaviour and said while ruffling his hair, " bilkul pkka."
They both smile wholeheartedly.
Dr salunkhe seeing both father- son is in no mood to go downstairs, so he decided to tease them. He said teasingly, " ab baap bete ka milan to ho gya, to ab neeche chalna hai ya sari raat yahi guzarni hai. Waise bharosa nhi hai tum dono ka, kya pata sari raat taarein (stars) gin ke nikal do, waise bhi time pass krte rehte ho, kaam to karte nahi ho pr mere pass bahut kaam hai isiliye mai jaa raha hu.
ACP sir ( getting irritated ) : kya kaha tune, hum time pass karte hai, arre to tu kon si toop chalata hai, din bhar lab mein apni rotating chair pe baith ke ghoomta rehta hai. Or terrace me tujhe konse kaate chubh rahe hai jo neeche jane ki padi hai tujhe.
Dr. Salunkhe : Abhi mujhe tujhse koi behas nhi krni hai. Aaj mujhe jldi ghar jana hai bas.
ACP sir ( teasingly) : Tujhe ghar jldi kyun jana hai. Kahi girlfriend ke saath date pe to nahi jana... hein...,he asked raising his one eyebrow.
Seeing the changing facial expression of Dr Salunkhe, Abhijeet also said naughtily, " arre sir mujhe nhi lgta inki koi girlfriend hai bas aise hi ye fekte ( boast) rehte hai." And they both shared a hi-five.
Dr Salunkhe ( glaring at them) : Pradyumannn... kitni baar kaha hai tum logo se ki meri girlfriend ke bare me baat mat kiya kro. Or Abhijeet tum, tumse kya mtlab ki vo hai ya nahi. Tum dono ko mai phir se warn kar raha hu ki agar meri girlfriend ke bare me kuch bola to accha nahi hoga.
Abhijeet : areyy doctor sahab shant... shant ho jayiye wrna zyada gussa krne se aapke baal jhadne lgenge. At this both father- son started laughing loudly, while the old doctor lost his temper.
He shouted loudly, " Abhijeeeeeettt, tumse kitni baar kaha hai ki mere baalon pr comment mat kiya kro. Aaj nahi bachoge tum." He moved fastly to catch Abhijeet but ACP sir came in between, hold him and began to calm down his friend while Abhijeet hid behind his father .
ACP sir ( holding Dr S by shoulders ) : Shant ho jaa Salunkhe, arre baccha hai, ho gyi galti. Aage se nahi krega. Gussa thuk de yr. Tujhe jldi ghr jana tha na, late ho raha hoga. (Fakely scolding Abhijeet) Abhi ye kya tareeka hai, aise behave karte hai bado ke saath, chlo sorry bolo.
Abhijeet makes an innocent face and said cutely, " sorry sir."
Dr Salunkhe ( removing ACP sir's hands) : haan theek hai, theek hai. Dobara kiya na to mujhse bura koi nhi hoga. Abhi jaa raha hu mai. He leaves and ACP sir sigh in relief.
He turns towards Abhijeet and said, " kya karte ho Abhi, aaj to pitne wale the tum."
Abhijeet shrugged his shoulders and said innocently, " kuch nahi hota sir, aap the na, mujhe pta tha aap bacha loge."
ACP sir while pulling his ears said," accha bacchu shaitani aap kre or vo buddha mera deemag khaye."
Abhijeet ( dramatically) : kya kar rahe hai sir , dard ho raha hai... aahhhh. Accha ab se nahi krunga. Waise sir aapko lgta hai ki unke baal asli hai, he asked naughtily.
ACP sir gave him a serious look and said lagta nahi mujhe poora yakeen hai ki, uss buddhe ke sare ke sare baal nakli hai, he said the last part smirking. And both of them broke into a hysterical laughing.
Seeing Abhijeet laughing whole heartedly , he felt so happy and blessed to have him. He thanked his stars for sending Abhijeet in his life.
He lovingly put his hand on Abhijeet's head and said, " jab mera beta hasta-muskurata hai to bahut handsome lgta hai. Hamesha aise hi khush raha kro." Hearing the compliment, Abhijeet gave him a shy smile and he ruffled his (Abhijeet's) hair.
Abhijeet hugged ACP sir tightly and said, " I love you sir "
ACP sir : I love you more my son. He kissed on his head and hugged him more tightly as if trying to secure him from all the problems.

सारी रंजिशो को तू पल में मिटा ले,
आजा आ भी जा मुझको गलें से लगा ले
