-3rd POV-

The dorm was filled with music, and the class' chatters and footsteps. Oh, and don't forget about Monoma's shouts of insults to class 1a.

Yui quietly drank her glass of juice, all while observing her classmates with those mysterious cerulean eyes of hers. Wincing at her blonde classmate's tone of voice.

Kendo eventually called for the others to gather, so that they would start exchanging gifts. They started out quietly, but after the presents were all sorted out, the room was once again filled with their excited voices as they unwrap them.

Yui decided to find out hers later. She wanted to get some fresh air for a while.

Standing up, she first informed Kendo, then proceeded to leave. Thankfully, her ginger-head friend didn't ask any questions as to why the raven-head wanted to leave. If anything, the president already knew why Yui went out. The raven-head do this a lot, a majority of the class had already noticed, but didn't bug her about it.

Yui took a stroll, and moments later, found the dorm nowhere to be seen. She wordlessly took a seat on the nearby bench, and allowed her mind to wander.

~~Meanwhile in the class 1a's dorm~~

The class was also busy unwrapping their gifts. Shoto had finished his, and the noise put quite a number on him, so he wordlessly exited the building after letting the president know.

The boy just wanted to cool off his mind.

The class' shouts could still be heard from a few meters, so he decided to take a few more walks.

Surprise was visible on his face as his eyes landed on a figure. Sitting on the bench. Alone. In this weather.

Although Shoto doesn't know the girl very well, he took it upon himself to sit beside her. Her eyes widened once noticing his presence. She curiously observed him as he walked past her and sat on the same bench.

Yui, although she doesn't want to make things more awkward, was curious as to why the boy was there, "Why are you out?"

Shoto gave her a small glance before replying, "I want to distance myself from my noisy classmates for a while." Hearing that, Yui thought back to the reason why exactly she's there, and apparently, the two have the same goals- to get some peace and quiet.

Without further questions, Yui only nodded as response.

Seeing her in that costume, actually worried him a bit. She's currently in a knee length, long sleeve dress. He couldn't tell if the cloth was thick or not, but her legs were still exposed to the cold.

Without a word, he took his jacket off and placed it beside her. She turned, stared at the clothing, then looked back up, "Why did you take your jacket off?"

"You need it more than I do" he replied while pointing at her shivering legs. Cringing inwardly at the sight, she thought, 'This is embarrassing'.

"Thank you"

The two didn't say a word for the rest of the evening, nor did they find the silence that clouded the place uncomfortable.

Minutes passed, and Yui needed to leave, her classmates would probably worry if she stayed out for a little longer. She peeled the jacket off her leg and handed it back to the boy. "Thank you for letting me borrow your jacket. I'm going back now." She slightly bowed.

"Yes, be safe on your way" although his words didn't make that much sense, as they're in UA, she didn't bother questioning and simply nod.

About to turn around, she halted, as if realizing something she forgot to do. Yui faced the boy once again, and with a small smile, said…

"Merry Christmas, Todoroki-san" she left afterwards.

The greeting caught the dual-head boy completely off guard. His mind wandered for a minute before gradually snapping back to reality, and that's when he noticed.. He wasn't able to return the greeting because she already left.

Shoto vowed to return the greeting one day.
