Luke couldn't wait any longer! He missed Garcia. He wouldn't miss her any longer. The team had been working an extremely difficult case where they could not connect any of the victims and Garcia's replacement, James, was less than stellar. "Wait... you need me to do what?!?" "Wait... my job includes looking at photo of dead people?!?" "Wait... I'm not able to leave at 5 each day?!?"

How did they ever think they were going to find someone who would do the job as well as Garcia? He picked up his phone to dial Garcia and heard a knock at his door. "Delivery!" Garcia had arranged for a food delivery service to bring over just what he needed for his and Roxy's supper. How had she known?

He picked up the phone again and dialed. "Office of Supreme Genius here, Go for Garcia" He fumbled a little just hearing her voice. Honestly, he expected to get a secretary or at least a buffer. She wasn't stupid. One of the first things she did was make sure any of her old team member calls would go directly to her phone with a special ringtone, the sound of dial up in the old days and the familiar "you've got mail" vocalization.

His mouth went dry. His words failed. "Luke" she said... of course she knew it was him. Roxy barked. Garcia spoke again... her voice was honey. "What Roxy... Luke wants to go on a date, but he can't say anything." She barked again. "Luke is speechless, he is frozen in place..." "Thanks for speaking for him. I know he appreciates that. And you are very welcome for the dinner. I assumed his first case without me would be difficult."

Once again Roxy continued the conversation where Luke couldn't. Garcia responded "Gosh my upcoming schedule, please let him know I'm texting my calendar. Goodnight Roxy and thanks!" Then her voice was gone.

Luke stared at his dog. He better fix dinner. Then he heard the marvelous beep of her text.

AN: I don't own CM. This is just the beginning but I wanted to make sure this was something others would welcome. Please leave me some comments about what you think. Thanks.
