Mr. Men Go Dancing: How it should Have Ended

Well, what did go wrong was Mr. Mischief's and Little Miss Naughty's desire to win.

That very naughty pair secretly put itching powder in Little Miss Star's and Mr. Perfect's costumes!

As Little Miss Star began her first pirouette, the itching powder took effect. They squirmed and scratched and twitched and scrabbled their way round the ballroom.

"Ah, I'm itchy! what's happening to my costume?!" cried Little Miss Star.

"Oh no, this is not supposed to happen! What's happening?!" cried Mr. Perfect.

They desperately tried to keep their composure but it was hopeless.

It was a disaster.

Finally they collapsed in an itching heap on the floor. The TV camera's had their every shudder and stumble.

The result from all this was none of the judges, not even the nice-natured Little Miss Sunshine and Mr. Cheerful gave poor Mr. Perfect and Little Miss Star a single point.

Mr. Perfect and Little Miss Star went home feeling distraught that all practice had been for nothing while Mr. Mischief and Little Miss Naughty went home giggling nastily over what they had done.

However the troublemakers' triumph didn't last long...

For you see, the next day they came across Mr. Rude and he had a few words to say about their dance the night before.

"You both dance like your about to lay an egg," he told Mr. Mischief and Little Miss Naughty. "And the costumes you wore last night looked like they were made of toilet paper!"

To make his point quite clear, he chucked a –10 card at the naughty duo.

In response to all this, rather than ignoring Mr. Rude or admitting that they deserved what Mr. Rude said to them, Mr. Mischief and Little Miss Naughty cried like George Pig and Richard Rabbit. Have you ever seen such spoilt behaviour?

And when Little Miss Star and Little Miss Fun saw them crying, they howled with laughter, the former for obvious reasons and the latter because they had laughed at her the previous night when Mr. Clumsy had stepped on her feet.

However, their laughter turned to shock and sadness when Mr. Perfect came up and saw Mr. Mischief and Little Miss Naughty crying and this happened:

"Please Mr. Perfect," begged Mr. Mischief pathetically.

"Tell Mr. Rude that he's a nasty man for insulting our dance routine!" begged Little Miss Naughty, also pathetically.

What Mr. Perfect said to them was completely unexpected and tragic.

"Given your behaviour the previous night," he told them. "Maybe you should use that –10 card to dry your tears."

Then Little Miss Shy came along and she lashed out at the troublemakers as well.

"F&"K YOU MR. MISCHIEF AND LITTLE MISS NAUGHTY!" she roared. "I CAN'T BELIEVE EITHER OF YOU BE SO NAUGHTY AS TO PUBLICLY HULIMIATE MR. PERFECT AND LITTLE MISS STAR JUST TO WIN A COMPETITION! THAT IS A FAR LOWER LEVEL OF CRUELTY THAN WHEN YOU AND THAT HARPY BULLIED ME FOR BLUSHING ALL THOSE YEARS AGO! I HOPE NEITHER OF YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TO TAKE PART IN ANY COMPETITIONS EVER AGAIN!"

And with those words, Little Miss Shy ran off to have a good cry.

As Mr. Mischief and Little Miss Naughty ran home crying their eyes out, Little Miss Star and Little Miss Fun stood there in shock at the events that had transpired.

"Like, I totally never seen Little Miss Shy and Mr. Perfect get that angry before." said Little Miss Fun.

"I don't think I blame them tbh," said Little Miss Star. "Given what those troublemakers did."

"Sure is a bummer," agreed Little Miss Fun.

Little Miss Star went off to find Mr. Perfect so she could apologize for what happened.

When word of what happened to Mr. Mischief and Little Miss Naughty got to the judges, Mr. Cheerful and Little Miss Sunshine, as you'd expect, felt sorry for them, feeling that their comeuppance was a bit harsh, however Mr. Fussy and Little Miss Splendid felt the complete opposite.

The latter two also felt that the troublemakers should have known better than to expect praise from Mr. Rude.

And to be fair, so would I.
