Name: Katano Uta

Alias (previously hero name): Pitohui, mostly goes by Pit

Age: 30

Gender: Female

Sexulaity: Pansexual

Height: 5'7"

Weight: 140lbs (not including the weight of her wings)

Hair Color/Style: Black with white pieces around her face; falls to about mid thigh and usually kept in a ponytail

Eye Color: Dark orange with gold around her pupil

Quirk: Pitohui bird; poisonous feathers and blood, does have a set of wings with feathers ranging from black (at the top of the wing) to red (towards the bottom of the wing) (feathers must be crushed in order to get the effect)

Weapons: Darts

Fighting Style: Uses darts and her poison to paralyze her opponent; better suited for long range attacks but can carry herself in close combat. Uses her wings to keep herself at a distance.

Affiliations: League of Villains (very loosely); previously with other pro heroes.

Handedness: Left

Personality: Katano has a very outspoken personality and she will tell you how it is. She can also be very friendly and excitable with people that she's comfortable around or if she's looking to get something. Sometimes she has a hard time reading the room and will be blunt about something even if she shouldn't be. She's smart and pretty and knows it so she uses that to her advantage. Her temper is pretty comparable to Bakugo's and it's not a force to reckon with. But she has an easier time pulling it back in than he does.

Costume: Gold yellow to dark red ombre sleeveless bodysuit; has dark grey sleeves (compared to workout arm compression sleeves) from mid upper arm to mid lower arm; fingerless gloves (left is the same dark red in her bodysuit and right is the same gold yellow), her left glove has a device she uses to shoot her darts father distances and with more power; dark grey "leggings or thigh highs" that start not far below her hips and cover her feet; a belt with a bag and rests on her right hip filled with extra darts in case more is needed; on each thigh she has a strap, the right holds her darts for ease of access and her left holds a small tank to hold extra blood and crushed feathers to poison extra darts on the go; standard dark brown combat boots but they reach up to about mid shin; typically has a pair of orange sunglasses with her to protect her eyes while flying

Notes: Her darts are her main form of weapon and prefers to stick to that. And when she was a pro hero it was really all she could do without crossing lines. But now that she's a villain, she doesn't care for those codes that kept her in line to begin with. If she runs out of darts or they are too damaged, she will use anything to break the skin of her opponent to get her blood in there so the paralyzing effects can do their job. It only takes a few seconds for it to work and they'll typically be paralyzed for about half an hour; depending on how much of the poison got into their system. Typically they'll be weak and maybe even sore after the fact but they are aware of their surroundings the whole time they are paralyzed.

She relies heavily on her wings during combat but she can hold her own well enough without them if needed. If they've become too damaged then she won't be able to fly. They will heal on their own but like any injury, it'll take some time. To avoid causing injury, she will rely on her blood more heavily for her poison.

She went to UA alongside Present Mic, Midnight, Eraser Head, etc. While she wasn't great friends with them she did know them and learned with them. She also has some sort of relationship (whether good or bad) with a lot of pro heroes since she was a pro hero for a little while. Nothing incredibly in depth though.

Aizawa's quirk doesn't really work well against her. Her wings are a mutation so he can't generally cancel that out. And the same goe for her blood. Maybe he would be able to cancel the effects while she's actively bleeding but other than that, his quirk won't do much.

Random Facts: She smokes cigarettes; if she couldn't be a hero (for whatever reason) she would have tried to enroll in the support course with more of a focus on costumes and not gadgets; she's a night owl; she'd fuck Endeavor just for the bragging rights (even though she can't stand him); she has a heightened sense of hearing but in return she can't taste that well

Bio: A trouble maker from the start, Katano was always adventurous and constantly finding new ways to cause some sort of mischief. Rules never sat well with her and she had a hard time following them especially while she was in school. And she did have a bit of temper that flared when she was pushed too far. By the time she got to UA, she had learned to calm down a bit better and managed to squeeze by without getting in trouble too often. Her grades were nothing special and she definitely excelled more in the practical and combat side of things. Despite her temper and distaste for rules, she did want to be a pro hero and save people. And that was part of what kept her in check while she was in school.

After UA and moving on to be a pro, she did fairly well and managed to make a bit of a name for herself. She wasn't near the top ten by any means but she was on the radar. Her biggest issue was that she skirted the line of how far she took things but managed to keep herself out of trouble. She could be a bit too aggressive in some moments and there were certainly times where she believed the offender should be killed. But she managed to reign in everything and let the police handle everything.

She stayed as a pro for a good number of years, about into her mid twenties. At the age of 26, a very close friend of hers was murdered (a quirkless man that she had grown up with and someone who she would die for). She knew that he had gotten himself into the drug trading world but she pushed it aside never thinking that his demise would be over that. After his death, it took her some time to process everything but she pulled herself together and managed to track down the person who killed him. Despite the words of caution from other heroes and police to sit back and let the police handle it, Katano confronted the killer. She caught him and some others in an alley, knocking the others down quickly. It wasn't long before she had him on the ground, knife to the throat, and ready to kill him. Police arrived shortly after with a few other heroes and she wasn't able to do the deed. But everything was swept under the rug and she didn't have to worry about getting in trouble for nearly brushing over that line.

A few days later she was cornered by a few low level villains after they had heard about what happened. They saw an opportunity to get a fairly powerful pro on their side. She was already fed up with not being able to use more force in her hero work so it didn't take much convincing to get her to give up the hero work. Katano was very well aware what this meant and she was betraying everything that she had learned. And she did agree with the point that heroes nowadays are more gorified than they should be. The freedom to do as she pleased with her quirk also was enticing despite having the police and pro heroes on her back. She started off doing odd little jobs here and there, proving her worth to secure herself a better reputation and better jobs. She has managed to catch the attention of the League of Villains and met with them but she hasn't made a solid decision if that was what she wanted to do.

Over the past four years, her view on good and bad has definitely become skewed. Hanging around groups of people who are bad has molded her opinion and now she disregards her past of wanting and being a hero. She has committed crimes ranging from petty theft all the way to murder and at this point in her life she doesn't see the problem with that. Katano left behind a lot of her life when she made the switch but occasionally she'll keep tabs on her old classmates and other heroes to see what they are up to. And she decided to keep her hero name as her villain name mostly because she couldn't be bothered with changing it to anything else.
