Rain. It's raining, like most days of the month. Water pours down from the clouds into a metropolis. Tall buildings and slums sit underneath the clouds. An entire city that is on top of giant vehicles. This city is huge, but it can move. This is Chernobog. A city of the largest country, Ursus. The reason for why it needs to move is due to a series of natural events called Catastrophes. A mixture of everything one could fear; tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards, meteor showers, it's like hell awakes on this planet almost frequently. But, there's a gift for those who could outrun it, Originium. A special mineral made out of crystals, it can power almost anything. And so people took this to their advantages. It is used for machinery, electricity, research, farming, and Arts, a source of energy that one can manifest. It can make anyone stronger, but it comes with a curse. A virus came from it known as Oripathy. Black crystals will materialize into the host's body and organs. And the host in question will die after some time. Their corpse will then spread the virus to more unfortunate souls. Despite this, originium is still used today. But as for those with Oripathy, they were met with cruelty and injustice. In Ursus the infected were the most poorly treated of all. They get sent to gulags and quarries to mine for

Originium until they die. Rinse and repeat and you got yourself an empire with no mercy but all glory. Oh, and all the people in this world are actually born with different traits based on animals or creatures. Some of them have cat ears and tails, or they got scales or pointy ears. And they got names too like Feline, Cactus, Perro, Sankta, Vulpo, and many more of these.

Back in Chernobog, many soldiers attend a speech being given out by a Ursus commander. He shouts with a ferocious tone, "The Infected have been a thorn inside our society. We are the ones who will show them who's more important! Chernobog is more glorious than those rotten scumbags!" The audience of armed guards cheered in response. One soldier stands firmly amongst others. He tightens his hold on an assault rifle. His face is covered by a balaclava and black visor. A couple horns pop out from the top of his head. His ironclad armor and equipment collides with another soldier who shouts, "URRRAAA!" He knows that what he's doing is wrong, but at least he will live. He doesn't care about the Infected. They are the ones that got the world into this mess. The infected are worthless..

But then, several explosions occurred simultaneously across the city. Thousands of infected dressed in white clothing march with torches, clubs, and other makeshift weapons. The guards of the city fought back ferociously, but some soldiers got attacked by hounds, drones, and crossbow bolts from the air. The soldier with the assault rifle dodges a hound and shoots it with just three rounds. The infected then charged, accompanied by a ferocious battle cry for the freedom of their brethren. All over the city, these people had enough and are turning against their corrupt leaders and society. Many innocent civilians felt threatened and they got slaughtered like they were pigs. Flags of the rebellion are rising up, cars are exploding, a skyscraper is set on flames. The soldier and all of his brothers in arms fight off these rebels. He stabs a rioter with his own weapon. He aims down his sights and fires a shot. He reloads, but then signs of a catastrophe are imminent. A tall building starts falling as the sky blackens. Bolts whizzed above the man as he tried to hold the line. And then, an explosion happens right in front of him. The soldier falls backwards, and then gets stabbed in the chest by a spear. Luckily, another soldier shoots the rebel who did it. He notices his dying comrade, picks him up, and starts running to a medic.

He's bleeding. He can't see clearly. He's losing his consciousness. The masked soldier cannot hear what his comrades are saying. And then, everything turns black. He fell down due to a stream of blood. He sees a shade of light ahead. With both his arms and legs, the soldier crawls to the light. When he got there, he reached for a plaque that said "Blackjack." Yeah, Blackjack. That's his name. Blackjack touches the plaque, and the area that surrounds them lights up. That's because this soldier is meant to fight on, for the glory of Ursus. For the future of this world. Because even if the rebels win, they will all die due to the disease. The world needs to be balanced again.
