Betrayed... Broken... Alone... And lost in a world of people turned to stone, with a great evil plague ruling with an iron jade fist.

Join the quest of Raya, a wayward princess and the last of her people, on a great journey to find the last of the great dragon species that once protected her world, and destroy the dreaded Druun with the last of dragon magic.

On the way she finds herself forming a very unlikely group of acquittances turned friends. A naive but bubbly and joyful water dragoness, a wandering, moody mountain drake, a young boy who owns a floating restaurant, a toddler girl con artist and her band of thieves, a gruff chief of his late people, and a sinister predatory Indominus Rex.

Together Raya, Sisudatu and their fellow survivors must join to restore the dragon gem and save the land of Kumandra, who for five hundred years had been divided by mistrust, and bring back everyone who had been turned to stone, contending with the fearsome princess Namaari and her army of fang warriors, the druun itself, and a pack of deadly reptilian monsters. All the while, journeying to return a defenseless infant of the once thought-of-as-myth Na'vi people, before they disappear from their land forever.

Hello there everyone, let me welcome you all to my retelling of the grand movie, Raya and the Last Dragon!

Here I shall tell u how this story idea came up.

Having watched the movie on disney plus I quickly said to myself that this movie is better than Frozen 2, giving it an 11 out of 10, and since the first time watching it, I have been all over the internet looking up fanart, stories on archiveofourown and so on and so forth (Not to mention a by now famous ship from the movie between two particular fem characters)

And all of this got me thinking 'why not make a story of my own based on it?'. At the time of asking myself that however I had no idea how to start it off. But then, a very very dear and special woman in my life who's a writer on Wattpad, went ahead and gave me ideas while considering the way I write, and the kind of characters I could conjure up and how to make them to my liking, and of course your viewing pleasure (Massive shout out to her with hugs and love!)

This doesn't mean I've given up on Dinosaur king Project I, I'm still very passionate on completing it as best I can, it's just I've already got an idea on how to start this new story, and I'd rather serve up while the ovens still hot. (But if there's anyone who doesn't want spoilers for the movie I'll hold off if u ask for it, I've been meaning to get back to it at some point)

I'll leave it off here by recommending you watch Raya for those who haven't seen it yet, and saying that I hope you are as excited to start reading it as much as I am to start writing it out, so until then, stay safe and all the best to all of you
