Another day, Another false reality. This is what I have to endure everyday. Living with fake people like my so call friends, my family and the teachers I see everyday.
I wake up every morning, get dressed and head to school. Honestly I would be tired of it, but since it seems I'm going nowhere, it really grows on me. Sometimes, I wish their was something new, instead of the same old things. Well, at least i have Him to make things bearable.
Monika's POV
The school day was finally over, i'm glad since I was getting really bored of classes and the compliments I get everyday. I eagerly packed up and head out of my class to head to my clubroom, the literature club.
I walked down the hallways and was approaching the stairs, when I was reaching it I felt an odd sensation. Something otherworldly if I say. I brush it off and took my first steps up until I heard footsteps on the next floor, it sounded like it was coming close.
I just stood there, wondering who it could be but I didn't decide to wait there to see who it was. I went up and to my surprise I saw no one.
"what the...?"
I was really baffled, this never happen before. I thought this over and figured it could be a glitch in the system, but that wasn't comforting at all.
I went around the stairs and up to the third floor hoping to find anyone who was there. But to my dismay there wasn't anyone there.
I check the halls, nobody. This really made me uncomfortable but I need to head to my clubroom, the others are probably waiting for me.
I walk down the hall and reach the room, I went in without hesitation and saw the usual scene in their spots.
They looked at me as yuri and natsuki went back to their usual business but sayori stood up and went torwards me.
She was smiling while approaching me, I wonder if that smile is genuine or not. She stop near in front of me.
"Hey monika, how you been?"
I put on a smile as well, I can act too as well.
"Hey sayori, I'm doing fine. How's everyone else?"
I lean aside her looking at the others, I realize that he was not here.
"ah, everyone's doing fine!"
Her expression changed significantly to a more low tone.
"MC is not here today."
"hm? Why not?"
She was quiet for a moment and said.
"He had an appointment today, so he couldn't come to school today."
"ohhh."
This actually made me relieved, for a second there i thought it was something serious. Then we heard that loud mouth little girl.
"monika!"
This caught sayori by surprise as she turned around and we see natsuki coming close to us pretty upset.
"what is it?"
I asked curious.
"Monika, you moved my manga on top of the shelf again! I told you not to do that!"
I honestly want to give her a piece of my mind, not that I will cause her harm but I really want to say something to her. But instead I acted like I usually would.
"Heh, sorry Natsuki but I was rearranging the closet so I must of forgot about your manga."
She pouted while crossing her arms.
"hmph! Whatever monika."
I swear, one day I will tell her off.
"Well can you at least get my manga down?"
I'm not doing that, I'm tired of her and her attitude.
"Sorry natsuki but I have some important business to take care of."
Natsuki looked puzzled at me.
"what?"
"why not have yuri help you? She's the tallest than all of us."
Yuri put her book down and look at us.
"what?"
She seemed dense while saying that, it was almost laughable. Natsuki looked at her which gave me enough time to head to my desk.
"Yuri? But monika I asked--"
She turned to me and stop her sentence: "--you..."
Natsuki looked upset as sayori was standing there concerned, soon natsuki left with a sour attitude while sayor looked at me pretty judgemental, and left.
I swear these girls are always a pain to deal with.
Sayori's POV
I left monika feeling unhappy how she handled natsuki, I went after natsuki to see if she's alright. Apparently she went up to yuri and talked to her.
"yuri, I need your help."
Yuri put down her book and stare at her.
"hmm?"
"i...Need your help to get my manga, cause certain Someone!"
She looked back at monika which didn't made any reaction to her. She turn back to yuri.
"Isn't helping me."
"oh."
Yuri looked a little unsure until natsuki said.
"come on, follow me."
She sigh and stood up.
"Alright."
I see them walked off to the closet which lead me back to myself. It feels lonely without him, he sure make the club a little more interesting.
I was about to head back to my spot until I heard a loud noise from the hallway. I turn my attention to the left door wondering what it was, Apparently I wasn't the only one who notice.
Monika's POV
I heard a loud bang from the hallway, it really made me jumped. I quickly stood up and wanted to investigate what it was. But I was curious if anyone else heard it.
I turn my head to the others and notice sayori looking at the same direction as me.
"hey, you heard it?"
I asked sayori which she quickly prompt.
"yeah, I heard it."
I then turn my attention to the others and see natsuki coming out of the closet with yuri as natsuki was holding her manga box.
Apparently they were too busy with her stuff. Sayori notice this and asked them.
"hey, did you guys heard that?"
"hm?"
Natsuki simply hum stupidly, which yuri said.
"you mean that loud bang. I have."
Natsuki quickly brush it off.
"is probably nothing."
I was very doubtful of natsuki carelessness which I quickly announce.
"i'm gonna check it out."
Sayori called out.
"Wait, monika!" I turn my attention to her.
"Let me come with you, I want to know as well."
"Sayori, stay here. I got to check it out myself."
I quickly turned and head off to the hallway as I open the door and head out, only to see a black figured in the densely lit hallway.
"What the--"
