Chapter One: The Inconveniencing
One day as Alexis is sitting under a tree sketching in a book she watches as Wendy's friends are playing around.
"Wendy!" The others shout as Alexis looks up from her sketchbook and sees Wendy with a boy and a girl.
"Hey Wendy." Alexis says as she gets up and goes over with the others.
"Hey guys! These are my pals from work. Mabel and Dipper." Wendy says as she gestures to the boy and girl.
"I chewed my gum so it looks like a brain! Blah!" Mabel says as she shows some gum on her tongue much to Alexis's disgust.
"She's not much for first impressions. Unlike this guy! ...This guy..." Dipper says nervously as he gestures to himself.
"So are you like babysitting, or-" Robbie then gets cut off by Wendy.
"Come on Robbie! Guys this is Lee, Nate, Tambry, Thompson, and my younger sister Alexis. She's 12 so she's a year younger than you two but she's still pretty cool." Wendy says.
"I didn't know you had a sister." Dipper says.
"Yeah well she usually is almost always with me and my friends. Partly because of our saying as siblings. I won't tell mom and dad what you do if you don't tell them what I do." Wendy says.
"On the condition that the other sibling is allowed to tag along whenever they want." Alexis says as she smiles.
"And Robbie. You can probably figure him out." Wendy says as she gestures to Robbie.
"Yeah. I'm the guy who spray-painted the water tower." Robbie says proudly.
"Oh. You mean the big muffin." Dipper says as everyone looks at the water tower.
"Um it's a giant explosion." Robbie says annoyedly.
"Hehe! Kinda does look like a muffin!" Lee says as he and Nate laugh.
"Let's hurry it up guys. I got big plans for tonight!" Wendy says as everyone gets into the car.
"Okay. Just before we go my mom said you guys aren't allowed to punch the roof anymore. So..." Thompson says as the others don't listen and begin punching the roof as Alexis begins drawing in her book.
*Timeskip*
"There it is fellas! The condemned Dusk 2 Dawn!" Wendy says as the group arrives outside the fence blocking off an old store much to the delight of the others.
"Why'd they shut it down? Was it like a health code violation or-" Dipper then gets cut off by Alexis.
"More like murder." Alexis says as she looks at Dipper.
"Some folks died in there. The place has been haunted ever since!" Lee shouts.
"This town has such a colorful history!" Mabel says happily.
"Wha... Are you guys serious?" Dipper asks in alarm.
"Yeah! We're all gonna die! Chill out man! It's not as bad as it looks!" Wendy says as everyone climbs the fence but Dipper.
"What are you waiting for? Come on." Alexis says.
"Okay Okay! Just gotta get a foothold..." Dipper says as he somewhat climbs the fence.
"Dude your sister did it!" Robbie says as he gestures to Mabel who is running on the ground sideways.
"Oh for the love of.." Alexis says in annoyance as she climbs over the fence and pushes Dipper up and over before climbing back across.
"Nice Alexis." Robbie says as the group goes over to the building.
"Wow! This place is amazing!" Wendy says as the group looks inside the window.
"I think it's.. it's stuck!" Robbie says as he pulls on the doors.
"Let me take a crack at it!" Dipper says as he walks over.
"Oh yeah. I can't get in but I'm sure Junior here is gonna break it down like Hercules!" Robbie says harshly.
"Come on. Leave him alone. He's just a little kid." Wendy says.
"Wendy your sister is younger than he is and even she doesn't act like this." Robbie says as he gestures to Alexis.
"Dipper what are you doing!?" Alexis shouts as she notices Dipper going in through a vent before he then opens the doors for the others.
"Good call inviting this little maniac!" Lee says says as everyone begins to walk in.
"Your new name is Dr. Funtimes!" Nate says happily as everyone inside and looks around.
"Do you guys really think it's haunted?" Thomspon asks nervously.
"Na! Thompson are you kidding me?" Nate asks.
"Whoa man. It's even creepier than I imagined!" Wendy says.
"And highly dusty." Alexis says as she blows some dust off a desk.
"Hey dude where do you think they keep the dead bodies?" Lee asks.
"Shut up man!" Nate shouts as he shoves Lee.
"Guys check it out! You think these still work?" Wendy asks as she turns on the lights as everyone looks at all the stuff in the store.
"Jackpot!" Mabel shouts happily.
"So what are we going to do now?" Dipper asks.
"Anything we want." Wendy says as everyone scatters as they run throughout the store while having fun and playing around.
*Timeskip*
"Hey guys! We need more ice!" Lee shouts as Alexis stops looking through old books.
"I'll get it." Alexis says before Dipper jumps down from the shelf next to her.
"No I can get it." Dipper says as he walks off before a small jellybean hits Alexis in the shoulder and sees Wendy on the top of the shelf.
"Why don't you join me up here Alex? So you having fun?" Wendy asks as Alexis climbs up and sits beside her.
"Yeah. Definitely different from how the gang usually acts." Alexis says as she looks at the others.
"I know right. What do you think of my work buddies. Fun just like I told you?" Wendy asks as she smiles.
"Yeah. Strange hanging around kids near my age." Alexis says as she smiles.
"I thought you'd enjoy meeting them when you got the chance." Wendy says before the group hears screaming and goes over to Dipper by the ice box.
"What was that? I thought I heard some lady screaming back here." Lee says as Dipper gives a nervous look.
"You alright Dipper?" Alexis asks concernedly.
"I'm cool. Everything's cool." Dipper says nervously.
"Then what's all this about?" Robbie asks as he gestures to the spilled ice on the floor.
"That's uh um uh...hey look! Dancy Pants Revolution! The game that tricks people into exercising! Heh heh. Yeah let's all- let's go play that." Dipper says as the group goes over to the game station.
*Timeskip*
"He's not very good at this game is he?" Alexis asks as some of the others are cheering Thompson on as he is playing the dancing game.
"I'll be right back." Dipper says as he leaves causing Alexis to look at him curiously.
"Whoa guys. You might wanna see this." Robbie says as everyone except Mabel goes over to him and sees the taped markings on the store owners bodies on the floor.
"Whoa. Then the rumors are true!" Lee says in amazement as Robbie dares him to lay in the tape before Nate lays in it.
"Wait! Maybe let's not do that." Dipper says worriedly as everyone looks at him.
"This guy's scared!" Lee says as he gestures to Dipper.
"All I'm saying is why tempt the fates? I mean.. What if this place really is... haunted?" Dipper asks nervously much to the disappointment of the others.
"Take it down a notch, Captain Buzzkill!" Robbie says annoyedly.
"I thought I was Dr. Funtimes." Dipper says.
"Well you're acting like Captain Buzzkill! Right?" Robbie asks as the others nod before Dipper looks at Wendy.
"Yeah. Little bit." Wendy says as she looks away.
"Dipper if you are afraid you can wait outside for us." Alexis says.
"Status update. Trapped in store with insane 9-year old." Tambry says as she is texting.
"I'm not scared and I'm not a 9-year-old! I'm 13! Technically a teen!" Dipper shouts before the tape markings light up and lights go out as Tambry disappears and reappears in a TV screen as everyone screams.
*Timeskip*
"Tambry! Tambry!" Wendy shouts.
"Can you hear us!?" Dipper shouts as Tambry looks around confused.
"Now what?" Alexis asks as she looks at Wendy.
"What are we supposed to do!?" Nate shouts in fear.
"I don't know man! I don't know!" Lee shouts.
"Let's just go already!" Robbie shouts.
"Thompson!" Wendy shouts before the game sucks Thomspon into the game and begins attacking him.
"Oh no!" Dipper shouts.
"Thompson!" Alexis shouts fearfully.
"Forget them! Let's go!" Robbie shouts as the group makes a run for the doors before they see they are closed.
"What the... Guys... It's locked!" Wendy shouts as she tries to open the doors.
"Outta my way!" Robbie shouts as he throws the cash register at the door only for it to backfire on him.
"Everybody wait! Whatever's doing this has to have some kind of reason! Maybe if we can figure out what it is they'll let us out of here!" Dipper shouts as everyone looks at him.
"Uh-uh they'll let us out of here! Yeah. That makes a lot of sense!" Robbie shouts sarcastically.
"Maybe Dipper has a point! I think we should hear him out." Alexis says as Dipper looks at her.
"Yeah right. I'm sure the ghost just wants to talk about his feelings! W-what?" Lee asks as he disappears and reappears on a cereal box.
"Lee! Okay, okay.. I'm with you kid! 100% man!" Nate shouts as he looks at Dipper.
"Welcome." A voice asks revealing to be a possessed Mabel as everyone screams.
"They got Mabel!" Dipper shouts.
"Oh no!" Alexis shouts.
"Welcome to your graves young trespassers." Possessed Mabel says.
"We're super sorry for hanging out in your store!" Wendy says apologetic and fearfully.
"Yeah! Can we just go now and leave forever?" Dipper asks as Alexis nods.
"Well... okay. You're free to go. But before you leave hot dogs are now half off. I know it might be crazy but you gotta try these dogs!" Possessed Mabel says as she gestures to the hotdogs as Robbie and Nate try to run for the open doors as they then close.
"Just kidding about the hot dog sale!" Possessed Mabel shouts.
"Just let us out of here already!" Nate shouts before he then disappears and reappears as a hotdog.
"It begins. Welcome to your home for all eternity!" Possessed Mabel says as she begins turning everything upside down.
"Dipper what do we do?!" Wendy shouts.
"Right now duck!" Alexis shouts as tackles Wendy out of the way of a shelf.
"Quick! In there!" Wendy shouts as she, Alexis, and Dipper climb into an ice box.
"What do they want from us?!" Alexis asks in alarm.
"Revenge I guess?" Dipper asks in confusion.
"Revenge for what? We haven't done anything to them." Alexis says.
"Okay let's try to figure out the pattern here. Why was each person taken? Tambry was texting, Thompson was playing a video game, Lee was being sarcastic. It doesn't make any sense!" Dipper says in frustration.
"Yeah! I mean those are all just normal teenage things." Wendy says as Dipper looks at her.
"Wendy say that last part again." Dipper says.
"Normal teenage things?" Wendy asks in confusion.
"Of course! Stay here until I get back!" Dipper says as he opens the ice box door.
"But what does being teenagers have to do with it? Dipper!" Alexis shouts as Dipper climbs out of the box and over towards the ghost while Alexis and Wendy watch as Dipper reveals he and Mabel are not 13 before another ghost appears as the two ghosts reveal why they are behaving the way they are before dipper does an embarrassing dance in exchange for the group to be set free.
"You know that is the second cutest thing I've seen apart from you when you howl." Wendy says as she looks at Alexis.
"Shh.. But you are right. It is pretty cute." Alexis says as she smiles before the ghosts disappear and everything gets returned to normal along with the other teens.
"What-what happened after everything went crazy?" Lee asks.
"You are not going to believe it! The ghosts appeared and Dipper had to..." Wendy says as Alexis nudges her as the two see Dipper silently pleading with them.
"Uh and uh.. Dipper just grabbed a bat and just started beating ghosts down left and right." Alexis says as Wendy nods.
"And the ghost got all scared and ran away like a couple of little girls. It was insane!" Wendy shouts.
"Alright! Dr. Funtimes!" Nate says happily as Alexis and Wendy zip lips with Dipper.
*Timeskip*
"Well I'm probably scarred for life." Wendy says as she is outside the van with Alexis and Dipper.
"You and me both. That's one mom and dad definitely could stand to never learn about." Alexis says as Wendy nods in agreement.
"Yeah. That was pretty crazy." Dipper says.
"I think I'll go stare at a wall for a while and rethink everything. Hey next time we hang out let's stay at the Mystery Shack. Okay?" Wendy asks as she looks at Dipper.
"Next time? Yah! Let's let's hang out at the Shack! Yeah... Next time..." Dipper says as he gets in the car with Alexis and Wendy.
"Thanks for coming along Dipper. I enjoyed getting to hang out with you and Mabel." Alexis says kindly as she sits next to Dipper.
"You too. I can see why you and Wendy are sisters. You are both pretty cool. Maybe we can hang out again sometime." Dipper says as he smiles Alexis.
"I'd love that." Alexis says happily.
"What kind of sick joke is this?" Mabel asks as she looks sick while Alexis and Dipper look at her.
