"Hey… HEY YOU! Camera ready?" The host yelled from afar. Upon closer inspection, the host was definitely not Chris McLean. Standing stiff and ready on the moisty sand at the beach, he grew impatient. Veins slowly popped out of his neck from idling aggravation. The camera crew propped each equipment onto the sand with cautious precision, dragging the equipment around like sloths. "WELL, PICK UP THE PACE!" He repeated his frustration.

Gazing up at the bright, blue sky, not a single cloud was present. Quite surprising, given their current location: Hawaii. Looking to his left, two of his co-hosts were chatting amongst themselves. Both their fatigued faces expressed the same annoyance.

"My guns are growin' impatient, I'm tellin' ya…" The host blurted towards the co-host, flexing his arms while kissing his biceps.

"Lay off the bravado, why don't ya…" One of his co-hosts fired back. At first glance, one would mistaken her for a supermodel. Her golden-blond hair cut short, wearing the typical, red lifeguard uniform one would occasionally stumble upon at public pools. "Your over-the-top yelling isn't helping, 'kay?"

"Hey! I, Drew 'The Stone' Jones, am the official, appointed, one-of-a-kind, scrumptious host of the show," he sassily held his hands on his hips. "Besides, who are you to decide what I say? You're just Pamela the lifeguard!"

"And also, certified nurse," she fired back, smirking, standing stiff with her arms crossed. "I play as big of a role as this Captain Hack fella'," she pointed her thumb behind, towards the second co-host. "What's he gonna do? Sail the seven seas?"

"YARR!" The pirate co-host swung his cutlass to the side. "My presence alone would sail the ratings across the entire ocean! Don't sweat it, I got that big-name recognition, matey!"

"And THAT'S… why I love you, Captain Hack!" Drew pointed out ecstatically with a wink of approval.

"Don't forget me, Mr. Macho," Pamela rolled her eyes.

"Nah, you suck," the host fired back.

"Not as much as yoooouuuu," she teased.

"Alright, how 'bout we get this show on the road already!" Drew walked away, displeased by the fact that the camera equipment was still not ready for action. "Josh! Camera guy! What the hell, bro? We're behind schedule! Don't make me do my signature triple-backflip 360 chokeslam!"

"Oh-my, not the triple-backflip 360 chokeslam!" The sweaty cameraman cowered in fear upon hearing those biblical words. "We're almost ready! Just… a few minutes more…"

Pamela glanced at her wristwatch, growing more impatient by the second. "We don't have more minutes! We're behind schedule."

"C'mon, Joshy-Josh," the pirate repeatedly tapped the sand with his left boot. "I got a ship to catch soon…"

"Quote that!" Drew grinned, turning away from an eye-rolling Pamela. "Captain Hack, I just wanna, I love you, man!"

"He-he hasn't even done anything yet!" Pamela blurted out.

"Pamela?" Drew interrupted.

"What?"

"Shut up."

"Guys!" The cameraman called their attention with glee. "Camera's rolling now! G-get in your positions!"

Upon observing the cameraman's thumbs up, the co-hosts dashed out of the camera's line of sight as rehearsed a few hours prior, leaving only the host with the most: Drew "The Stone" Jones.

"Sorry, yeah, I don't know who those two people were," the host awkwardly spoke directly to the viewers. "Well, except for Captain Hack. He's my new bestie. Anyways, moving on…" He strolled towards the shoreline, gazing at the calm, ocean waves. "See that? The Pacific Ocean. Guess where we're located? Hawaii. This season's current destination." He breathed in the island's fresh breeze. "Here we are, currently situated at Camp Sakamannano. And guess what, we have it all: beautiful beaches, towering palm trees, and raining coconuts. Only thing that's missing… are you guys! The competitors!" He pointed to the camera, extending his massive, beefy arms, strong enough to crush watermelons. Perhaps even stone.

"Shooting Season One of this generation's most electrifying reality show to date! Ya' know the Total Drama formula already, but let me spell it out for ya'; 24 campers will be competing in life-threatening challenges. Some are more dangerous than others, but I'll leave that up for interpretation…" He winked. "This season will be kickin' it off strong, with a prize winning of one…million…DOLLARS! So, what are ya' waiting for? Ya' wanna be quick millionaires? Here's some financial advice from a former world champ…SIGN UP NOW! We are currently accepting applications as we speak, so DON'T WAIT NOW!"

"YARRRRRRR!" Captain Hack screamed off-camera in excitement. "The ships sailin', so don't wait now!"

"I-I LOVE YOU, CAPTAIN HACK!" The host shared his glee.

"Don't forget, I exist," Pamela blurted out.

"Yeah-yeah, whatevs, anyways," the host continued. "This is Drew 'The Stone' Jones. Here to host season one of…TOTAL! DRAMA! SAKAMANNANO ISLAND!"

Author's note: Hey guys, it's me, Mr. Ruff. While this story is on my profile, this project is a collaborative group effort between myself, Jessthedork, Phoenix Writer GPH, Lillaptop, Musical-Total Drama Nerd, BigBadBrad, Zoryan El Muerto, LittleRedline, MikeOyster, BadLuckAE, and FreshmEn. This could be one of the most ambitious crossovers in Fanfiction history! The crew feels great about this, and we're ready for y'all to join us on this ride. In addition to this, we'll be running a companion series to go along with the main story. Before you get to applying your characters for the story, we must lay some ground rules and guidelines first and foremost.

Rule #1: No Mary Sues and/or Gary Stus! Nobody is perfect. It's okay to have flaws.

Rule #2: No applications in the reviews will be accepted. They are going immediately to file 13 aka the trash bin. Feel free to PM all applications to Mr. Ruff (me), Attackin2, Lillaptop, or Phoenix Writer GPH.

Rule #3: Label each application as "[insert character name]'s Sakamannano Island Application".

Rule #4: Send in as many OCs as you want; however, you will not have more than two OCs accepted.

Rule #5: Don't throw a fit if your OC is sent home. We understand you want to win, but only one person can. We'll try to do our best with them and ask that you be a good sport and be respectful. Treat us how you want to be treated.

Rule #6: Please do give us feedback on how well we are handling and portraying your character, but please understand that the story will not revolve around one singular OC. We can't include every single thing about every OC in this story.

Rule #7: No carbon copies of canon characters. It's the same universe as the canon Total Drama. Only difference is that the year is 2016, and an American network greenlit an American version of the show. That is why Chris and Chef are not here.

Rule #8: Last one, and it is the most important one. Have fun and be creative, guys. We're really excited to get to know y'all and build up a super fun, positive, and all-around inclusive community for this story (and hopefully series).

Now, here is the application.
