Hello guys, it's been a while since I don't write but I saw a prompt on Facebook and this instantly jumped to my mind. I apologize for any mistakes. English is not my first language, but I try. I hope you enjoy!
Idiots in love
It has had become a regular thing lately. Emma scaring Regina when the opportunity arises. She would even wait for her at the corners of the sidewalk just to jump on her when she turned. Regina was, for obvious reasons, tired of it. She couldn't understand how every time, Emma got her. She was expecting it, she knew Emma would come out from anywhere and scare her, but she couldn't yet decipher her modus operandi, Emma was unpredictable, it was as if she was spying her all day just to see when she was distracted and attack.
So far Emma had tickle her from behind, cover her eyes and mouth (that was hilarious cause she got to bit Emma) she would sound a horn or just yelled her name loudly beside her, she was getting more creative within time. Appearing right in front of her with loud music while she was reading, and the list would go on and on. She loved her, she was her best friend and to be entirely honest with herself she liked this playful Emma, but of course she had to act like she didn't, for matters of image's sake.
They had been "secretly" dating for over 3 months now. At the eyes of the town, they were already married but nobody dared to say anything. So, they let them be in their little bubble of happiness and playfulness. Even Henry would roll his eyes at the sight of his mothers gazing lovingly at each other believing nobody was watching them. But everybody did. And it was kind of cute. They had become the town's favorite couple and they didn't even know it.
Regina was finishing presenting a meeting at Town Hall. Everything had gone well; she was sure after they heard the report about how the town is doing and how well she is managing the mayoralty they would have to shut up and let her rule just like the queen/mayor she is. She was just about to leave; it had been a long day. She shut the computer off and looked at her cup of coffee untouched on her desk, with a wave from her hand she reheated the coffee and was about to take a much-needed sip when Emma appeared out of thin air right behind her playing a royal theme with a small speaker she had magically arranged to be as loud as a concert. The noise and the sudden appearance made Regina jump and spilled all the coffee over herself, to say she was pissed was an understatement. Emma on the other hand was laughing so hard at her achievement.
"If you do that again..." said Regina, all Evil Queen voice. "I'll throw you out that fucking window you-What are you doing?" She cut herself off when she saw Emma moving to said window and looking outside. "Checking how high the drop is, see if it's worth it."
