Two years ago, Courier Six at the battle of Hoover Dam Courier defeated Legion and the NCR forces that wanted to annex Mojave Wasteland and Hoover Dam. But with Courier's help, Mr. House took charge of the New Vegas Strip and Hoover Dam. After the battle, Mr. House rewarded Courier Six with a room in his casino, Luck 38, and upgraded his pipboy, and gave him his financial support. A few days after the battle, Courier Six left the Mojave Wasteland.

After he left the Mojave Wasteland, he continued exploring the wasteland.

Three months after he left Mojave, he met a guy named Paul in a saloon called Bighorn, and after a short talk, they decided to travel together for a while. They hunted geckos, scorpions, feral ghouls, destroyed raider bases, and the bond they shared deepened and turned into friendship.

While Paul and the Courier attacking a raider camp, they found a muscular girl with a slave collar on her neck inside a cage. Courier removed the collar from her neck, stabbed her right arm with a stimpak, and took her to their little campsite. When they arrived at their campsite Courier asked her name which she said ''Yui.'' after Paul and Courier saved Yui, she asked if they could travel together. Courier and Paul agreed.

''Look Six, I know that you are the most experienced in hunting deathclaws in our team but don't you think this plan is waaaay too reckless?'' a masculine voice asked.

''Look, I don't understand what problems you are having with my plan Paul, I think my plan is beyond perfect.'' Courier six said to his teammate.

Paul was a guy with tanned skin and red hair along with blue eyes. He was not very tall but, he was not short either. His hair was long enough to cover his eyes but, his hair was gathered above his forehead by a hairpin.

And he was handsome enough to charm a few girls.

''Yeah yeah, you plan to get over a fucking Ridge and shoot at fucking deathclaws until they are dead! Do I have to tell what is wrong with this plan Six?'' Paul was bewildered by his comrade's plan.

''Yeah, Six don't even think this is a good plan.'' a feminine voice called out his friend.

''Oh yeah? Then please enlighten us with a better plan, miss Yui.'' Six said to his friend in a mocking tone.

''Okay, if you desire. I can enlighten you with my brilliant plan.'' Yui gave his comrade a smug smile and a middle finger and started explaining her plan.

Yui was a white girl with black hair along with green eyes. She was a tall lady. Her hair was just long enough to touch her shoulders. Her hair was in the style of a ponytail.

''Now Paul is a sniper, so he is going to stay on the ridge with his trail carbine and going to shoot every deathclaw when I give him the mark,

I will take your thump-thump and going to burn them with my incendiary grenades.'' Yui started explaining her plan to his teammates.

''Okay, what part am I going to play in your plan?'' Courier askes Yui with a slightly curious voice.

''Okay, Six, do you know your biggest talent except killing things?''

''Uh...Cooking right?''

''Except for that.''

''Then it would be... my stealth.''

''Yep, you are going to put some plasma mines towards the ridge and going to get their attention with your .44 magnum and going make them rush towards you they will activate the mines, I will blast them with thump-thump, and Paul is going to shoot every other deathclaw that survived.'' Yui finished explaining her plan and waited to hear if they had any complaints.

''This plan is putting me in a very critical position, can't you think anything else?'' Six asked his teammate.

''Yeah, Yui, I know that Six's plan sucked but, don't you think this plan can get Six killed?'' Paul asked Yui with a worried tone. ''And I don't think my sniper support would be enough to hold multiple deathclaws.''

''I know Paul, Six, but I can't think anything else sorry.''

''Well, how about we change my part with this; I am going take my .44 magnum, four mf grenade, five plasma grenade, seven frag mine, and plasma mines, and lastly, my 25mm upgraded g-launcher, I will HE for an increased explosion after we get their attention we split them into two I will pull them towards my little minefield and after they explode I will shoot the ones left. I think this plan is better than our last two.'' Courier suggested to his comrades.

Yui looked at Courier six and said. ''Well, this is plan is better.''

''Well, I think this plan better too so, we better get ready I am taking the Recon armor.'' Paul got up and started getting ready.

''Then I am taking the combat armor-'' Right after she finished her sentence, Six gave her a warning.

''Combat armor would be useless against deathclaws. Their claws are way too sharp for combat armor to protect you.''

''Then which armor should I wear, Six? You are the expert.'' Yui asked her companion.

''I think Riot gear would be a better choice. Their claws won't get past through its armor, but it can't fully absorb the pressure from their claws so it can cause internal bleeding or blunt force trauma.'' Courier added to his previous statement. He fought with deathclaws in the Mojave fair enough times to understand their weak and strong points.

Yui gave him a nod and started getting ready to fight with deathclaws.

Courier got up and walked inside his tent. He started changing his outfit.

Little time skip - Five minutes later.

Courier now wearing an Advanced Riot helmet with glowing red eye sockets, A long black overcoat on its back there is a blackjack symbol with twenty-one in a number written inside it, under black overcoat he was wearing his Elite Riot gear he got from The Divide, for his legs he was wearing black pants with armor plate that covered his thighs and for the last, he was wearing black boots with steel nose.

Courier walked out of his tent and called out to his companions

''Is everyone ready for the hunt?''

''I am ready Six.'' Paul raised his hand to get the attention of Courier Six.

Paul was wearing his recon armor along with the recon helmet, but over his armor, he was wearing a brown cloak with a face wrap and hoodie, and over his eye, he was wearing a night vision google he salvaged from a varmint rifle.

''Yui what about you?''

''Yep, my equipment is ready so let's go.''

Yui, now wearing her Riot gear, with a riot gear helmet, was wearing a brown cloak that concealed her armor over her riot gear.

''It looks like everyone is ready let's start hunting then.'' And with these words, Courier six started their deathclaw hunt.

Time Skip - Twelve Minutes Later

'That would be the last of the mines. Now the only thing left is signaling them.' Courier raised his left arm and flickered his pipboy's light, giving them the signal to start.

There were fourteen deathclaws, one of them was the alpha, and the other one is the mother deathclaw certainly will give the most trouble.

Two of the deathclaws were blind, and three of them were young, and the remaining ones are the normal adult deathclaws.

Courier readied his grenade launcher and fired three HE shells towards deathclaws, crippling two of them. At the same time, Yui launched two incendiary 40mm shells, burning seven of them. Deathclaws recovered from the shock and split in two started running towards them except the mother, she was covering her eggs with her giant body scaled body.

Six of them were following Yui, and the remaining seven, including the alpha deathclaw, were following Courier Six.

Courier turned his back and started running towards the little minefield he made. While running, he readied one microfusion grenade and a plasma grenade, with a quick movement, he turned his back and threw the grenades. Grenades exploded right above their head from the blast of the explosion, one of them died, and two of them were knocked unconscious.

Courier arrived at his minefield and got in a position that covered him from the blast from the explosions. Mines started exploding one after another after all fourteen of them exploded. Courier six got up and readied his .44 magnum in case any of them survived. While he was checking if any of them survived, a claw slashed right thru his right arm guard and almost ripping off his forearm, Courier yelled in pain, but he endured the pain. He picked up his .44 magnum from the ground and aimed at the head of the alpha deathclaw, and pulled the trigger six times.

After alpha deathclaw finally died, Courier pulled out a super stimpak and stabbed his right arm. After that, he used a med-x on his arm to dull the pain. Courier put his magnum in his bag and started walking back to his companions.

Yui and Paul were waiting for the Courier, and they were a little concerned if their friend got killed by the deathclaws.

''Hey, Yui do you think Six made it?'' Paul asked his friend with a concerned tone.

''Of course, he did, that bastard is way too tenacious to die. He won't get killed by deathclaws.'' Yui tried to reassure her comrade, but she was silently praying to every god she knows.

While they were waiting for Courier Six, they saw a human figure in the distance he was holding his right arm and was tripping every few steps.

They were looking at the guy with a cautious gaze, but the moment they saw his glowing red eye sockets of his helmet, they started running towards him.

Paul put him to the ground, and he removed courier six's helmet, opened his mouth, and put buffout inside his mouth.

''Chew.'' he said after putting the drug inside his mouth.

In the meantime, Yui opened up her doctor bag and was trying to stitch his arm back. But it was a pretty hard thing to accomplish because Courier's arm was barely holding on. Before she started, she gave him another dose of med-x and put a piece of cloth in his mouth.

Time Skip - Forty Minutes Later

It was a difficult operation for Yui. She did have training as a doctor, but his wound was beyond what she was capable of, but then again she did her best to put his arm back together. His right arm was no longer in danger, but he shouldn't use it much and rest for at least two months before using it.

After the operation, Yui warned Courier about the dangers he can experience if he doesn't take a break. Courier just gave her thumbs up and said, ''okay''.

Paul grabbed his comrade and started carrying on his back.

''Are you comfartable Six?''

''Except for the pain in my arm, everything is good.'' Courier Six replied with a tired and sleepy tone.

''Okay, then let's go.''

Paul, Yui, and Courier started going back to their little campground.

On the way back, Six fall asleep on Paul's back. While he was sleeping, he was sometimes grunting in pain.

When they arrived, they put Six inside his tent and covered him with a blanket, and they left him in there to get some sleep.

06:12 Dawn

While the sun is still rising, Six woke up.

He was feeling like shit after the hunt, and his arm was still throbbing in pain. He took a dose of med-x to dull the pain even by little. He lifted his blanket and got out of his tent.

When he got out of the tent, he sat near the campfire using his left hand he pulled out a cigarette and lit it using the embers from the campfire.

He took a deep breath from his cigarette and started watching Sun rising.

After a short time, Paul woke up and left his tent. When he left his tent, he saw the courier sitting near the campfire watching the sun.

He walked up to him and sat near the courier.

''Are your okay now, Six?''

''Just a little. My arm still hurts, and I can't move it, but it will get better...'' Courier paused for a little while and continued. ''I am going back to Mojave, Vegas, to be specific, there is a friend who can heal my arm, and I am going to pay them a visit.'' Courier finished his sentence.

''Okay then, when are we going to move?'' Paul asked.

''When the clock hits noon, we are moving out.''

''After the breakfast, we are starting to get ready then.''

''Yeah, the sooner I am at the Mojave, the better.''

Time Skip - 12:07 Noon

''Are you guys ready?'' Courier asked.

''Yeah, but don't you think you are carrying way too much?'' Yui said, pointing at the big bag he was carrying.

''Don't worry about me, I am only carrying my stuff you don't have to get worried, and I carried heavier, so you don't have to worry about me.'' Courier said to them.

While they were walking, a dust storm started. It quickly started raging and got bigger. Courier and his companions were used to dust storms so this was not a big problem for them.

While they were walking in the storm, just for a second Courier saw everything distorted, and when he looked around he realized that everything stopped moving. He could see the dust particles stagnant in time.

While he was looking around, trying to understand what's happening, a bright white light hit his eyes, forcing him to close his eyes.

When he opened his eyes, he was in a completely different place.

Dust, dirt, and the heat of the desert were gone, instead, it was replaced with a cool temperature, he was in some forest with snow all over.

He stayed in shock for a few seconds he couldn't believe his eyes.

''Where the fuck am I, and what fuck just happened?'' were the first words that got out of his mouth.
