My first story for Charlotte's Web. Enjoy.

As the years passed, Wilbur grew older, Fern grew older, and so had Avery. But he was still very mischievous, but in a funny way. Avery's habit of collecting frogs and snakes to stash in his room had annoyed his family so much.

"Avery, there's another one of your frogs in the sink," his mother would complain.

"Avery, why do your snakes keep ending up in my room?" Fern would add. "Can't you keep them outside?"

Avery pointed out, "But you used to keep Wilbur inside, too,"

"That's different, Wilbur was a runt. Your annoying frogs and snakes are everywhere! Plus, you wanted a pig too,"

"Ah fine, I'll move them somewhere else," Avery agreed reluctantly. But the reason he agreed was because he had another plan in mind...

It'd been a while since Fern had last visited her pig. So she decided to go see him.

"Wilbur! I'm back!" she called when she arrived at her uncle's barn. "How have you been, Wilbur?"

Wilbur scampered to the fence, happy to see Fern again.

"I see you're doing okay," Fern smiled. Then she waved at Charlotte's children in the doorway of Wilbur's pen. "Hello, Aranea, Nellie, and Joy,"

The little spiders waved back.

Ribbit. Ribbit.

"Huh?" Fern's eyes darted around the barn for the source of the noise. When she found if she groaned, "Oh no, it's another one of Avery's frogs!"

She was wrong.

There wasn't just one frog.

All of them were there, hopping around in Wilbur's water bucket.

Fern stood up from her stool. "Excuse me, Wilbur, I have some business to do with my brother. I'll be right back,"

"Averyyy!" Fern ran all the way home. As soon as Fern found her brother with a smug face, she demanded, "Avery! Why are your frogs in Wilbur's pen?"

"I did what you asked. You told me to put them outside," Avery snickered. "They're outside, aren't they?"
