Steve was getting dressed for work when Brooke came into the room to warn him that there was a girl on the porch looking for him.
"A girl?" Steve asked. He couldn't imagine who it would be.
"Yes, a girl. I don't know her from the neighborhood," Brooke replied.
"I'll be right down," Steve replied as he adjusted the tie. He was preparing for a meeting with the Governor to talk about the team that would soon be much bigger.
"Okay. I'm going to tell her that you're leaving. By the way, you look handsome," Brooke kissed him lightly and went down to the living room. "Come in, he'll be down soon," Brooke said the girl, but looked around. She was concerned about the appearance of an unaccompanied girl at their door and wondered if it was a trap for Steve.
"No, thanks. I'll wait here," the girl replied.
Steve was already coming down the stairs quickly after calling Danny to pick him up at home. He looked at the girl standing there on the porch. She held her hands together and looked shy.
"Hi, I'm Steve," he said to the girl.
"Hi," she smiled shyly at him and said nothing more.
Steve waited for a few seconds for her to say what she wanted, but she was silent.
"So, do you want to talk to me?" Steve asked the girl.
"Yes, I am Cecilia," she replied.
"How can I help you, Cecília?"
"My name is Cecilia Rollins, and I just wanted to meet you, dad."
