The Void

The abyss where everything that has died comes to either live there in silence or get reincarnated. Hell and Heaven mean nothing here. There is only black as far as one could see. There is only light to those whose determination burns to lives on.

Though I am neither silent nor determined. I am one of a kind. Ones that can speak are the abyss creatures though I don't know what I am. I'm neither human nor any other races I have seen so far.

What I have gathered from myself are. My hair is Dark Crimson. I have scales that can change color at will. I have pointed ears from what abyss creatures tell me. My teeth are sharp though they aren't noticeable. The list is mostly long and very, with some average things.

I've classified myself as Dragonoid. Dragon for the Dragon-like features and the noid meaning human in some odd language or because it sounds cool. Probably both since I picked it because it sounds good.

The abyss is a strange place though I like it. However, luck isn't always your friend.

Unknown Forest

I shoot awake from all the light around me. I look around and then feel a punch to my face. My scales start hardening. I hear gasps while I regain my composure.

I look at them and see a pink-haired person with a white scarf. I look over to a blue flying cat. I hear " Dragon. " I look over to him. " Dragonoid " I reply. I see him jump at me then I dodge to the side on instinct.

I look at him and see his eyes somewhat watery. He asks with hope, " Do you know anyone named Igneel? " I shake my head, he slumps.

I hear a squeaky voice " Will find him Natsu. " I look at the cat. I say, " Your voice really hurts my ears.. " He seems offended and goes over to Natsu saying something about avenging him.

I ask, " Where are you going may I ask? " He perks up and replies, " Hargeon Town to look for Salamander. " I ask " Mind if I join? " He says in a peppy, " Sure, however on one condition. " I raise my eyebrow.

" Join Fairytail. " I nod. He starts jumping around with happy saying, " We got a dragon " Repeatedly. I focus on my dragon appearance and slowly return it to a human state. I see Natsu with stars in his eyes.

Hargeon Town

I carry Natsu off the train with me and throw him on the ground. He yells, " WHY DID YOU DO THAT. " I replied coldly, " You have legs you can walk yourself. " He groans, getting up.

I look back at him and see he's not there. I look over to where I hear his footsteps. I look at him and seem being abused by girls. I sigh and get over there, leaking bloodlust scaring the girls away.

I pick him up and hear, " Hey. " I look at a blonde chick and say, " Hi.. " I. She says, " Thanks to him. I was able to get out of the Charm he casted. "

I ask, " The Love charm on his ring? " She seems surprised while I answer, " I'm able to read and sence magic spells to the last syllable in the magic circle. " She stutters " Thats.. Impossible. "

Random Restaurant

' How did I get here. ' I look at Natsu and Lucy. Lucy says, " I'm going to join the best Guild Fairytail. " and goes on a tangent. I ignore it. I say, " Natsu didn't you say something about fairytail when we met? Something about joining then said We got a... " I cut off the last part. Lucy says, " Wait.. Are you in fairytail? " He pulls up his sleeve and shows a mark similar to a fairy.

She turned into embarrassment suddenly realized that she was going on a rant about it earlier in front of him. I realize another thing and said, " Hey Natsu may I ask why your looking for Igneel and asked my when we first met after seeing my dragon side? "

Lucy stops Natsu saying, " Hold up dragon side..? Thats impossible there are no dragons left. " I feel bloodlust than look at Nastu. He states, " There are dragons I was raised by one however it left when I was little. His name was Igneel. I think he was the king of Fire Dragons. "

Lucy looks down, realizing what she said. I say, " I'm not a dragon. I'm a Dragonoid meaning a humanoid dragon. " She freezes, and I continue, " They have more potential than a dragon due to their human side not having a set growth, unlike dragons. The more emotions, the more power. "

I say, " Hey Natsu did you know your slowly becoming a dragon? " He looks at me as if struck in the back from nowhere. I say, " I believe it's because your dragon slayer magic is slowly changing your body structure to a dragon. Your able to use this magic from a dragon meaning it's not made for humans making the body slowly shift to a dragons so it can properly use it to its full potential or its made from the dragons magic imbued into you which makes the body absorb the magic into your reserves slowly combining them. "

He starts yelling about " HOW COULD YOU DO THIS IGNEEL. " and " I WON'T LET IT. " I think to myself, ' If he's slowly turning into a dragon, what does that make me? The question is am I artificial or... ' I shiver at the thought of the other.

' Most likely Artificial since no one is brave enough to try... that... Am I created in the void, or I died like this? Can it be both since I felt uncomfortable in my body once I woke up in it? Probably... ' I feel heat on my face.

I open my eyes to find my face on fire. ' Strange I feel nothing from this... ' I wave it away. I hear screaming and look at Natsu and Lucy. Natsu muttering " Sorry. " repeatedly. Lucy looks pale.

I wave my hands in front of their faces. I say to Natsu " Your flames are weak compared to a dragons if I can't feel a thing. " He says, " Is that a Challenge Dragon boy? " I say, " Aren't we both Dragons kinda... " I look at him. I can almost place a gear turning picture in his head.

He says, " If I'm a dragon doesn't that mean it would hurt? " I pause for a moment. ' He's right, it should've hurt, yet it didn't... It's like trying to walk in lava. Yet I felt nothing. '

I answer, " No clue... Pink Dragon. " He says agitated, " It Salmon you... " He pauses. " You... Dragonoid " I say, " That's not an insult. That's my species name. Fisherman "

He starts raging while I watch the chaos he's blowing towards me with a cup of tea. I hear Lucy say " Your destroying the chair and table. " I look at him and see him melting and endangering other people. Something snaps within me.

" Stop. " I say with pressure resonating everywhere. He sits down with a bland expression. I say " You are causing property damage and endangering the people around you. Fisherman. " He stops looking around and I feel his flames dying down.

I feel darkness take hold, taking me to slumber.

Unknown Location

I look up from my area sensing a powerful force. I say, " That's not him... It feels more protective and weaker. However, it feels restrained with magic something's holding it back to stop its Rage. " I look at the ball and see a crimson-haired Dragonoid sleeping.

I say leaking hope and sadness " That's.. Not him its impossible he was killed by Acnoliga. " I get a bigger picture of the area and focus on a loudmouth. I said " He's met Natsu. However, he looks like he lost his memory or... The void sent him here. "

Fairytail Guild Nursery

I stare at Shinku his crimson hair tied back to put a wet towel to keep him cold. His scale's keeping us from putting needles in his body to help the healing done to him. I cry, thinking I was the cause of this.

I feel a hand and look to see the old man. He says " Natsu. it is not your fault.. From what we heard from you and, Lucy it seems like he didn't know he was using it, so we believe it was... His dragon side's magic reacting to his emotions of Protection, making what you saw. "

I stare at him for second processing it. I say " Why did he not pass out sooner if his magic was out of control? " He sighs and answers, " He seems to have a magic spell on his core to keep his magic under control to keep his body from overflowing with magic or hurting the people around him. "

I look at him and say " He's able to sence magic and the magic circle's syllables allowing him to copy the magic if ihe used it correctly. Second to sence things like this how come he couldn't sence it? "

He seems surprised. He answers " If that is true... How come he can't sence it, he should be able to... The Void "

I stare at him and he continues.

" The void is where the dead wait for reincarnation or they stay in silence. Some get reincarnation keeping their past bodies. The magic from the void cannot be sensed however if looking for something it can make it very dangerous if you didn't know what you were looking for. Never mention the void to him at all costs... "

I look at him and ask, " Why? He deserves to know why he can't use his full power... " I get cut off by him saying " The Void is where all things that have died come to rest or get reincarnated... I bet he doesn't remember much however if we tell him about this is memories might unlock it... " I say, " Letting loose the magic of being that can make dragons submit to its will. "
